Angry subscriber
One star is too much, how much do you want to annoy your subscribers. First commercial at F1. It started with a couple of blocks with a few commercial, now 6 blocks with 5 or 6 commercials, do you really hate your subscribers so much? Or were you so stupid to pay too much for the rights and now you let them pay for that. And now a match of Liverpool is suddenly at prime, are you crazy? I pay for the premier league matches and need to switch now to prime to have a double subscription, you guys really lost it and now Im not even complaining about the commentators and the streaming quality, you company messes anything up I hope you get what you deserve.

Viaplay advertises a student offer, but it’s a scam. I’m studying at a Spanish university and this is apparently not ok, as the offer only applies for Danish, Norwegian and Swedish universities. But they only told me this after weeks of trying to pacifying me. And it’s illegal as it not allowed to discriminate within the EU.
What a scam. If they didn’t have monopoly on specific sports rights no one would ever buy their service that impose extra commercials during events.
Transmission stops prematurely
Watching football match live: Arsenal v Newcastle, which suddenly ended in the 86th minute, ensuring I miss the final goal and result. What an idiotic service, completely frustrating!

What an awful service. Commercial brakes during football games has to be one of the wildest thing ever. Plus I now can't even cancel my subscription apparently I have a year contract - which I didn't sign to. This is the worst service EVER
I canceled my Viaplay subscription but…
I canceled my Viaplay subscription but was still charged 2 months. Despite contacting support and opening a chat, the issue has not been resolved. No confirmation of cancellation was ever sent, until costumer service cancelled then I got the email and the service has been very unresponsive.
I expected a simple cancellation process and prompt customer support, but this experience has been extremely frustrating. I hope Viaplay improves their service and addresses billing issues promptly.

Viaplay suchs big time!! This is a “ pay channel” and they implemented commercials during F1 grandprix. Next season i will switch towards F1.com

Just out of nowhere, same subscription as we has allways had but viaplay just changes out subscription to contain adds, just for force us pay even more for our subscription.
We are for sure canceling our subscription due to this bag being dragged down over our heads :(

Worst streaming platform there is. You pay for the service, but it has more adds then even normal tv shows if you want to watch F1 you have to see 3 minutes of ads every 15 minutes. Go to F1 TV or even pirating is now better quality than ads and 1080p

Absurdly expensive and I have not been able to watch a single f1 race without technical issues this whole season. Also the current dutch commentators are horrible.
Failed again.
Not for the first time Viaplay has failed to show a sporting event from beginning to end without interruption. I am referring to Wallabies v British and Irish Lions today, black or fragmented screen, poor sound quality. A tot al disgrace.
SCAM
I received a prepaid gift for two months of movies and series, yet they still ask for payment to watch certain films. This is a SCAM. I will NOT renew my subscription and I do NOT recommend it to anyone.
Keeps finding new ways to be worst
Live sports quality: horrible. Customer service: non-existant. Quality of series and movies: trash. App: Works like it's 2015. Packages and bundling: Make little sense. Pricing: Through the roof.

I love paying for a streaming service, and still having to watch 2-3 minut adds that cant be skiped. The adds also pause if you tab out so you are forced to watch them.
Viaplay also only has like 5-10 good movies, of witch you have to pay extra for 8 of.
This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. The viaplay app doesn’t even ask any verification for purchasing movies, so that even very little kids can accidentally buy their products with a tv remote controller. You have to be aware of this and enable the feature that locks this kind of possibilities.

Ignorant robots
I have been trying to get a positive reply from Viaplay customer service, since their service went down a few weeks back and i was unable to watch the football match I wanted to.
Their "call centre" was closed that day and no end of restarting my TV, internet and TV app was helping. So I wrote and complained.
Only to be met with ignorance and blanket refusal to either acknowledge my issue or compensate. It's either a robot replying or just someone copying and pasting replies.
It has to be the most useless customer service I have EVER experienced.
So I have cancelled my subscription.

Unforgettable experience
I used the promo code for 2 free months, the site asked me for my card for verification, dumbed down for a long time, then they charged me 99kr. So the promo code was not activated as it turned out. There is no way on the site to see if you have a subscription or not.
In the FAQ there is an answer that they can freeze some amount, but it is temporary (spoiler: it's not, instead of 2 trial months, they stuck me with a subscription).
The support was unable to return the money to me because I watched one film and ‘enjoyed’ the content (I thought I had 2 months free).
At least thanks for helping me cancel my subscription, though we'll see in a month.
