Terrible product and unreasonable licensing
I bought this Revolution Slider yesterday based on their excellent website and advertising. As an experienced website designer I was surprised to find it is so complex and unintuitive to use that I had to repeatedly contact support. They answered quickly, but the information was usually not that helpful and sometimes dismissive. I found that changing some minor aspect often caused something else to change or stop working.
The worst thing I suddenly was told is that when my paid support ended (if I did not renew) the image slider on the website would STOP WORKING (because I had used a Premium Template to create it). An unacceptable new money-grabbing tactic.
I can totally understand why they have suddenly now left TrustPilot (if you notice all recent reviews are 1 star).
I suggest you read the small print and (independent) reviews before trying this Slider Revolution.

Worst plugin ever in terms of usability and user experience. Logical functions are lacking, overcomplicated, but not flexible enough. Totally illogical. Simple things that should be there are not (for example trying to position background image for mobile is a total nightmare, among tens of other things). Would not recommend it to anyone.

Awful plugin
The most over-complicated, inaccurate and frustrating plugin I have used with Wordpress in my 20+ years of web development. I hate when clients want to use this in their projects. Position an element on screen over the slide, check it, its nowhere near where it was placed. Hundreds and hundreds of settings that seem to be there just to complicate things. Hate it.

DO NOT waste your money on Slider Revolution. Their product is unreliable, and their customer support is completely incompetent.
I purchased a $35 one-site license hoping to resolve an ongoing WordPress plugin conflict. Instead, I wasted countless hours troubleshooting an issue that their support team refused to acknowledge or fix.
I spent 4 hours working with a Fiverr developer through remote access, trying everything—different browsers, incognito mode, restarts, resets—yet the slider preview remained broken on my device. It worked on his computer, but not mine. I then spent another 3 hours with my laptop manufacturer’s IT support, where we identified a faulty JavaScript that wasn’t loading properly. I recorded the issue and sent it to Slider Revolution’s support team, yet they had the audacity to dismiss my evidence and gaslight me into believing I hadn’t sent the “correct” slide previews.
For 10 days, I dealt with endless back-and-forth chats with “Janice,” trying to find a solution. On day 10, I was handed off to “KC,” who was nothing but condescending and dismissive. Instead of actually troubleshooting, he asked me to “try a different browser”—something I had obviously done multiple times. By the end of that same day, KC informed me that because their developers couldn’t replicate the issue, they wouldn’t fix it. Instead, they offered a lazy “workaround” and sent me on my way.
Let me be clear: just because an issue doesn’t appear on another device doesn’t mean it’s resolved. Telling a paying customer this is unacceptable. I did not purchase a license just to be ignored, dismissed, and strung along for nearly two weeks with no real help.
I will be requesting a full refund as this is still within the 14-day purchase window. I strongly urge anyone looking for a slider plugin to avoid Slider Revolution at all costs. Their customer support is useless, and if you run into issues, you will be completely on your own.

Thank you for the response, but let’s get one thing straight—after 10 days of trying to get help, I had to suggest remote access, which should have been an immediate and standard step in troubleshooting. Only after I raised it did KC proceed, stating he "knew what the issue was" and took a video to send to the dev team. I should never have had to guide your support team on how to handle my ticket.
Your team now has three more days to resolve this issue. If no solution is provided, I will be canceling my license. There are many better options available, like Smart Slider 3 (which only requires a one-time payment) and Meta Slider, both of which are known for better functionality and support.
Time is a clear reflection of productivity. The longer it takes to resolve an issue, especially when your team continues to ask questions that have already been answered—showing a clear inability to read, understand, or listen—the less likely customers will trust your product. Not everyone reaching out to customer support is a developer. It’s unacceptable that remote access wasn’t even offered initially. This is a major lapse in both customer service and product reliability. Customers invest in software for its functionality and competent support, not to waste time dealing with issues that should have been handled properly from the start. It’s now up to your team to prove they can deliver on that promise.

Fantastic support! I really appreciate their rapid responses and they always have a solution for everything.
This product is TERRIBLE
Their product is truly bad and the after-sales service... WORSE. Forget about anything working for you, much less about them answering a chat... This will be a waste of money without a doubt. Also, the loading times are eternal and they increase the loading speed a lot. I do not recommend it.

I have been a customer since 2019—until…
I have been a customer since 2019—until today. Disabling the plugin without warning is unacceptable. You claim I was using the plugin across various sites, but in reality, I used subdomains to demonstrate it to potential clients. Many of them purchased their own licenses as a result. Those days are officially over.
After my site was completely broken, I contacted support. It took over 20 messages and five emails to get a useless response. Do yourself a favor and avoid this plugin at all costs. I wasted two full days and had to delay a release by two days. I hope I don't lose a client because of this terrible service and plugin.
Support: no need to respond.
