Shape Lounge was founded in Pasadena, CA by Amira Hussein in 2022. It started with nutritional coaching, red light therapy, vibration plate therapy, infrared sauna, and life coaching. This was a vision Amira had for many years; to create a healing space where her clients could come take care of many of their wellness and beauty needs, in a peaceful and serene environment. After decades of research and looking for natural ways to heal herself, Amira figured out the root causes behind many of the health issues we see prevalent in society today. She was able to heal herself of her most debilitating conditions, and decided to turn her pain into purpose. She officially began her nutrition coaching practice in 2019, and quickly saw favorable results. She noticed many of her clients were looking for answers to weight loss/fat loss. And while that wasn’t her primary focus at the time (healing was), she wanted to help them with this. While searching for natural solutions for her own weight loss and muscle toning, after not being able to work out for years, due to chronic fatigue and chronic pain, Amira stumbled upon targeted cryotherapy in 2023. She discovered that this innovative technology could help solve many of the issues her clients were having, from stubborn fat, loose skin and cellulite, to aging skin, and pain. She decided to add this exciting technology to her practice, and in 2024, opened up Shape Lounge OC in Orange County, CA, in the city of Costa Mesa.
