Very Bad: defect product, no reimbursement

I sent back my order because it arrived broken, they said they never received it. I sent DHL proofs, and they disappeared and never replied again.

Could you clarify what you mean by "broken"? You ordered 2 pairs of shoelaces, so the word "broken" does not make sense in this context.

I just looked into your case, and ultimately, we never received your return. The label you sent us as confirmation of your return does not show any tracking information, and combining these two facts, we are unable to refund your order.

I understand that you might be disappointed, but we are simply unable to issue refunds without receiving our products back.

I would be very happy to provide you with a discount code as an offer from my side, in case you would like to order another color, form, or length.

Not what promised

I ordered items with a total cost of more than 90€ that qualified for free shipping. At the time of checking out, there was an indication that shipping will be free of cost.

After receipt of the purchase through post, I got a bill from fedex, totaling 31€, to pay for the shipping costs.

I tried to contact the company regarding the issue, utilizing all the available emails they provide, but with no answers.

Patience is rewarded with excellence

A few points up front, don't order laces from here and expect them to arrive the next day. They are made to order and, like anything bespoke, they reward patience. Order them to have in as stock and then don't worry about how long it takes for them to arrive. But, when they do, they are absolutely fantastic. I have a mix of styles and colours - round laces for my country shoes and flat for my city shoes. All look and feel fantastic. I will soon order another batch for the cupboard and will only use these laces from now on.

Product arrived: divine pleasure full of positive emotions :-)

Again I ordered from my favorite laces provider.
Different thickness of laces.
As usual everything about the ordering process was perfect. Product promptly shipped but not yet arrived so no more to add at this time :-)
Product arrived and is even more beautiful than my previous buy due to a different choice of Aglets material/color.
However wonderful my shoes/boots are these laces become the striking element of the total shoe, making each time of wearing a divine pleasure full of positive emotions :-)

Scam

Ordered my shoelaces mid december.haven't received anything .Sent several mails, one response that the laces were sent.Not the case. This can only be a scam

Avoid at all costs.

Don't bother with this "company" if you're ordering internationally. Never got my order. They did reimburse me, but after about 4 months of consistent emails. Piss poor customer service and they somehow don't know how to deliver outside of the EU.

What surprises us, is that you are blaming us for an undelivered order caused by you, entering an incomplete address!
We paid for the initial shipment to you AND the shipping back to the EU, but still refunded you the complete order.

Plenty of customers from the states order and appreciate our products, the difference might be that they are able to correctly enter their address when placing an order.

Poor Quality

The laces were very expensive but snapped within six weeks on shoes which only worn occasionally. Very poor quality. No response from Senkels.

Scammer

No tracking number, no item was received and no one answered the several emails that I sent in and via the request form. And they advertise themself as luxury.

It's been 3 weeks and I still have not received my order.

Please avoid this place and report.

I have ordered 2 times at Senkels

I have ordered 2 times at Senkels, the same product both times:
1st time: I accidentally wrote the wrong address, tried to write a message to customer support but they did not get back to me.
2nd time: I actually received the product but the shoelaces look waaay smaller(thinner) than what they do on the website. Want to return but then I NEED TO PAY the return freight and PRINT OUT a return form?!?! What is this 1950s?
Also, the website has such poor UX. Won’t buy from here again.

I've never received my item..

I've never received my item... It's been over a month now and I've even received an e-mail where it says they've been shipped.

Haven't heard anything since and my item has not arrived. I've written you customer service but of course haven't heard anything.

Will not recommend!!

Quality product, slow shipping

Decided to give them a chance despite a relatively steep price to support a small EU-based business and quality product. I am very satisfied with the product, the only reason for 4 stars is slow shipping (without tracking), which I would be more likely to ignore when rating had it said on the website that none of the laces are actually in stock at the moment of ordering, but have to be made from scratch. Just be honest.
