CHILLAX - THE WORLD'S GREATEST CHEAT

About 6 months back I was downloading a pdf in a hurry. I did not notice that what I clicked was some crappy scam called Chillax. I then discovered my mistake and went on to down load my file. But since then every month this scamster has been taking AED 44 from my phone account, This is probably the worst, lowest category of cheats you will find on the Web. Stay far away from Chillax. Close the browser if you see this name. When I contacted them by mail they told me they are helpless! I am being charged in spite of the fact that I have "unsubscribed" from their service. If the government of United Kingdom knows of this then it is a GOVERNMENT scam: else why don't they investigate. Rotten to the core.

Scam

Scam. Persist and threaten legal action and you'll get your money back. Don't let these scumbags win. It look me about 20 emails. They'll offer a small portion and go up and up. It's shocking they are allowed to operate.

Scammers and thieves

Emma who replies to these reviews is obviously being scammed and lied to like the rest of us by her bosses

This company is obviously set up to scam people who are tech illiterate and can't spot the signs of being frauded and scammed

Like others this happened to an elderly relative and they charged €30 over a month

They clearly hope people aren't paying attention to their messages and just pass them off as your everyday scam message that tries to get your details before charging you

The people running this company should be ashamed

I just found out that Red 27 have been…

I just found out that Red 27 have been taking 15 per month from my Tresco credit since September the 8 2021.

It was the Tresco helpline who alerted me as to what was happening. I had no clue this was happening and do not know how it all started.

I have asked been offered a 7.50

My next action is to go to Conreg.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

Charged €30 so far for a text service I never signed up for! One message said if I text STOP it would charge me €10…I thought this was the scam so I ignored it! Turns out I was being charged for every message they sent me! The messages included clickable links…clearly something everyone is being told to avoid…do not click on links from something you did not sign up for!

Seems this has been going on for years and it’s just crazy that it is allowed to happen!

This company seem a complete Scam

This company seem a complete Scam. I am presently helping a vulnerable person with little money and who is in tears. The are not transparent. They ae putting her through hell and offering small amounts of money and not the amount she should get. Tesco her provider are of no help. She is now having to go to the regulator. This should be totally unneccessary

Scam service

They are not a company, they are a scam of a service that needs to be taken down immediately. Over €150 came out of my account before I realised what was happening. They offered me a €7.50 ‘refund’ then a €20 one, and now a €35 one… apparently I clicked on a banner to subscribe for the service which is bs as I have ad blocker on my phone..

Can't believe Red27 are licensed
After multiple emails I'm still unclear as to what the actual 'service' is that they provide. It's also very unclear how they can simply sign you up and extract e7.50 from you each week via your mobile phone bill.
Be sure to turn off premium SMS on your mobile service.
Red27 refused to provide details of their so called service nor details of their complaints policy. Their tone is 100% gaslighting 'you should have known better to sign up to our service' type responses. When pressed, they provide a full refund.

Red 27 are a bunch of thieves who should be in prison
why they are allowed to operate and steel from people
Is beyond me, they have stole 82euro from me when I
got onto Red 27 they offered me €7-50 back then they up the offer to €20. and wanted my Bank Details, what so they can scam more money. They say they have proof that I subscribed witch is totally lies.
I also contacted Tesco mobile they just wear not interested at all
I can't wait until my contract with Tesco mobile ends
So as I can change my provider.

Red27 Mobile (Mobihub) started charging an…

Red27 Mobile started charging an elderly relative of mine €7.50 a week (which would have amounted to almost €400 annually if not noticed and stopped) for absolutely no reason. They claimed that they had knowingly subscribed but that was completely and utterly untrue.

Following another reviewers excellent recommendation I read about these scams on payforitsucks.co.uk which explains how these Scammers use pop-up adverts to subscribe you to nonsense supposed "services" so that they can then charge you money on an ongoing basis.

They defend this by claiming you subscribed intentionally - Using this logic they presumably have hundreds of thousands of elderly people being charged €400 annually to get access to unwanted, unsolicited services which I assume are along the lines of Unicorn wallpaper and Snoop Dogg ringtones - ie utter rubbish.

It is important to note that these people will not have actual proof that you willingly subscribed to or that you ever used these services - They will bluff and pretend that they do but they won't, you can use this against them as they can hardly justify taking your money to the relevant Authorities without providing some form of proof that you consented and agreed to this situation now can they???

Demand a refund in full and stick to your guns until your money is refunded to you in full.

As mentioned above payforitsucks.co.uk gives an excellent overview of this scam and advises you how to deal with these ******* and their obnoxious business model.

Also please note that Red27 Mobile will reply to this message saying that they are disappointed to hear my opinions of them and saying that they are a registered company in the UK and why won't I contact them by email so that they can spin me more lies.... Please see this for what it is - A pathetic attempt to appear professional and to mask the true intent of their devious online activities.

Never clicked on any add for this…

Never clicked on any add for this company and they charged money to my mobile.
€7.50 per week and never noticed it for a months and they took many payments.
Rang Three and they are useless and more or less said it was my fault for not blocking them by ringing them when i switched to them.
This Red27 has lots of different names it trades under and i bet you catches lots of people especially vulnerable people before they know it.
They can keep my money and i hope it brings them lots of misfortune and be warned every scam has a price to pay maybe not today or tomorrow but it will catch up with ye in the end.
The piper always gets paid.
And notice to all make sure you block these numbers with your service provider.
These people who own and work for these companies are predators
Beware.

Use deceptive tactics to defraud a minor

My son is a minor. 11 years old.
Red27Mobile through their Mobizone business have been sending him 3 Premium Texts per week amounting to €30 per month.
I've told Mobizone and Red27mobile to unsubscribe him 3 times, but they have not.
I have registered complaints with the Data Commissioner and Communications Regulator.

Deceptive service designed to defraud

Somehow in December 2020, I unknowingly became subscribed to the Mobizone (part of Red27) Premium Service. To this day, I don't understand how I became subscribed. I never use SMS Messaging and by pure chance in June found some messages from Mobizone which led me to query by phone bill which uncovered the fact that the guys were charging me €30 per month for a service that I never accessed. The total charges were €157.50. Once I became aware of it, I was able to stop it through my Mobile Phone service provider. The aim of this company is to have you subscribe (sometimes unknowingly) whilst they will try to communicate in a way that will bring the least amount of notice to them and that you will remain subscribed. I am in dispute with them to have the money they took returned. Its fraudulent and deceptive. Please beware.

my 11 year old daughter who has learning disability

my 11 year old daughter who has learning disability clicked on one of their banners and was charged £12 PM for over a year( £168+ ).
It only cam to my attention after my daughter showed me one of there text messages . she would normally delete them , in fact she re sets her phone to factory reset every day. this is just something she does. I have contacted Red27Mobile today and they say that they are following all regulations, what I would like to know is how can a 11 year old agree to get into a contract. and when the parent of the child informed them about what the child has done and even sends proof of the Childs disability and age they have the audacity to offer me £20 by way of full and final settlement of your complaint. well there is no chance I will be accepting this. I will be taking this matter further and will be getting leagle advice.
