I wanted this product so much because it looks great. I ordered it from the company's website and received a receipt for my order. After a couple of weeks of not hearing anything I called the company. It appeared to be a personal phone with no message and the mailbox was full. Someone called me back (Asian accent but east coast phone number) and I asked when my product would ship. He told me that I would have to pay an additional $149 for "insurance" that would be refunded. I said that the website didn't say anything about that and he ignored me and asked how I wanted to pay. I said I wasn't paying unless I had something in writing saying it would be refunded. He asked me to text my email and sent me something in writing. He then pressured me to pay by Apple Pay and said a credit card wouldn't work. I said I had Apple Pay. We got into a loooooong text conversation where he asked for my Apple Pay number and I said it was hidden from me on my model phone, he wanted screenshots, he told me the screenshots weren't of Apple Pay (they were), he gave me his Apple Pay number, I said I couldn't pay using it, and we settled on PayPal. Then he told me to pay calling it "family and friends". I said I wouldn't pay unless I marked it "business" so I had some protection. He insisted. We went back and forth. I asked him to refund me since he was asking for an extra payment that wasn't on the website. He said all I had to do was pay him under "family and friends" and I was refusing to do so.
I ended up disputing the original transaction for the purchase with PayPal since he refused to refund me unless I paid the additional $149 and marked it "family and friends" rather than "business".
I am at a loss for words. I can't believe the lack of professionalism of this. Nowhere on the website does it say anything about this $149 charge for a $249 product. I have never been in such an unprofessional negotiation with a company. I can't believe he kept my $249 for a product he wouldn't deliver.
I know this is also for sale on Amazon but it is fulfilled by the company. I wonder whether this is a better way to buy the product. I ended up buying a competitor's product and getting my money back through the dispute process at PayPal.

Do not order from them. It’s been 5 weeks since I ordered and have not received my product. I finally text them phone number they give on there site and was told I had to pay an additional $125.00 for my shipping to be released and they would refund my PayPal account. I am not falling for that

The Purrini PlayMate is a fantastic cat house, but let's be honest, it's not cheap. However, the quality is excellent, and the ability to easily remove and clean sections is a huge plus. I used to make do with DIY cardboard houses, and the difference is night and day. Cleaning was a nightmare before – now it's a breeze. If you're willing to spend a bit more for convenience and durability, this is the way to go.

First of all the price. For the materials alone it is expensive. BUT... imagine, if you have to sew it yourself it will cost an insane amount of time and you need the skills to do so. You also have to buy a sewing machine which will be probably half the costs of the most expensive set. So if you take in consideration that it is a start-up, not a mass production, people need to get payed for their jobs, the price is actually reasonable in my opinion. You also pay for the experience of watching your cats explore their new spots time and time again and that's of course priceless!

The service. I wanted to order the set but at the checkout I found out my country was not in the list. So I send them an email with the question if they ship to the country I live in. I got a very quick response from the nicest customer service lady I ever encountered (thanks again Vannie!). I had issues with paying because I don't have a creditcard and she helped me patiently with all the steps I needed to follow to make it work. After they got the amount on their account they directly send me the set and even though it came from the other side of the world it was here within 2 weeks. She even contacted me to ask if the process was done well when I got the product. So 10/10 service!

The set. The first 5 minutes I was overwhelmed and didn't know how to start so I checked out the manual for the basics. But as soon as I connected the first two pieces I found out how easy it is! Except the doors, triangle holes and triangle roof pieces, it only fits in one way so you just have to keep following the pattern. The doors do only fit in certain ways if you want the doors not to be sideways or upside down. Same for triangles if you want them direction a certain way. So lay out a floorplan and then place the door first, then the rest of the walls. So far I made them a small house, a pyramid and a small castle. The cats loved every design so far and they love to explore new spaces. But I love it too, it's addictive to build new designs. So far the material feels solid but I need to re-use it more to give an opinion about that because I only have it a few days. The color is a personal preference, I'm not a big fan of orange myself but the combination with the anthracite makes it look stylish. It does collect a lot of hair but that's a good thing because it spreads less at other places.

The downside. I don't know if this is a downside for everyone but I love it when the cats have multiple floors to sit on and taunt each other from different levels. With this design of the product, you cannot make multiple floors and also cover them with outer walls. So all the towers are hollow inside. It is possible to attach 3 sides of the ceiling to the lower structure and then attach one side of the new layer to the side which isn't attached but that will make the new layer(s) flip over to the attached side if kitty's get rough so it can be dangerous. If you place the structure to a wall on the side where it flips over it is more save but still pretty unstable. I also found out making a 2x2 with ceilings on it is not stable enough to hold kitty's when they sit on the ceiling.

So overall the kitty's and I have a very good experience and I recommend it to every cat servant!
