Music will be removed eventually
Starts off ok with some streams, but your music will be removed for use of artificial streams. Not worth it
Disappointing experience — campaign triggered “fake streams” takedown on Spotify
I hired Playlist Booker for a $150 playlist promotion for my single “Beautiful Mind.” The service was advertised as legitimate, organic placements. Shortly after the campaign started, I received a notice from DistroKid/Spotify that my track was removed for suspected artificial streaming. I did not run any other paid stream services during this period.
Why I’m dissatisfied:
Platform risk: The campaign correlated with a takedown, which jeopardizes my song and account standing.
Quality signals were off: We saw unusual traffic patterns (sudden spikes, low saves/playlist adds, and engagement inconsistent with real fans).
Misalignment with claims: The marketing promised “organic” results; the outcome suggests non-compliant traffic.
Time & reputation cost: I now have to work with my distributor to reinstate the song and prove I’ve halted the campaign... lost time I could have spent making music.
What I did next:
Immediately terminated the campaign and requested a full refund of $150.
Asked Playlist Booker to remove all placements they created so no further invalid traffic hits my track.
Contacted DistroKid to disclose the vendor, provide receipts, and follow their guidance for reinstatement.
Advice to other artists:
Avoid any service that “guarantees” streams or placements.
Watch for red flags: odd-territory spikes, low save rate, short listen times, private/unrelated playlists.
Focus on editorial submissions, targeted ads, genuine community, and creator collabs... methods that comply with platform policies.
I’m not writing this to bash anyone... I’m sharing a firsthand experience so other artists don’t risk the same outcome. If Playlist Booker can demonstrate robust vetting, remove the questionable placements, and issue my refund, I’m open to updating this review. Until then, I cannot recommend the service.
PLAYLIST BOOK DELIVERED ARTIFICIAL STREAMS AND LISTENERS
At the beginning of August 2025 I tried Playlist Booker algorithmic playlist package for $249. It started out great streams and listeners on Spotify beginning to increase. It was exciting but one or two weeks later Spotify hits me with a artificial streams flag. I thought that was odd because all of the streams were coming from algorithmic playlists (ALL OF THE STREAMS AND LISTENERS). I contacted Spotify and they told me to contact my distributor to get this sorted out so I did. It took about two months going back and forth with my distributed to finally Spotify removed my song that was being promoting by Playlist Booker. My distributor told me that 100% of those listener and streams were artificial and most likely my song won't be distributed to Spotify anymore. I've reached out to Playlist Booker about this but they have not responded but to me in over a month. This is unacceptable and something needs to be done to put them out of business. PLEASE I BEG YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM PLAYLIST BOOKER.
They put your song on a fake playlist…
They put your song on a fake playlist they made. Then they delete the playlist after a week. They will also block you on social media when you call them out in it.
Scam. Stay away
I decided to try their 50 buck playlist placement for the first time and they did place me on a playlist with around 10k saves. My streams went up to about 100 a day. Compared to 0 before this. BUT, 2 days later streams went back to 0 because the playlist was privated and deleted. I tried to contact support but they do not respond for days and judging by other reviews here, they don't plan to at all. It seems as though they actually have some playlist infrastrycture, they can't deliver on the promises they advertise or don't deliver anything at all as other people mention. 50 bucks is a significant financial dent for a starting musician and I hope this review saves it for you
Unresponsive Customer Service and No Cancellation Support
I placed an order with Playlist Booker and attempted to cancel it just a few hours later. Despite the prompt timing of my request, I received no acknowledgment or confirmation of cancellation. Over the following days, I followed up multiple times, hoping for a resolution or at least a response. Unfortunately, I was met with complete silence.
The lack of communication and support left me with no viable option but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. It’s deeply frustrating to be forced into that route simply because the company failed to respond to a straightforward cancellation request.
I expected better professionalism and accountability. If a business cannot honor timely cancellation requests or even reply to customer inquiries, it raises serious concerns about their reliability and integrity. I would caution others to think twice before placing an order.
Total scam - Avoid at all costs
Total scam. 3 weeks later not one single stream generated. Team will take 3-4 days to reply to each email. Playlists they “put me on” were closed down. Possibly for botting. Refusing to refund. Avoid at all costs
Scam
Scam - do not use them. They put my track on a playlist (which looks great!) but then not a single stream. Free reviews of the playlist demonstrate that it is an AI generated playlist and not a single person has ever streamed anything on it. Requested for a refund - told to wait a few more days. Then still nothing. Not a single stream over 2 weeks and now they don’t respond.
Do not use they are just scammers
Hands off..
Hands off... they generate AI streams. I got banned from Spotity & Co.
I used this service for the first time…
I used this service for the first time and it will be the last time. They advertised that artists will receive 500K streams on a monthly campaign but this was untrue. I only received an average of 65 streams a day. Also, when the campaign ends, they remove you from the playlist so there's no growth. Please avoid at all costs.
Destroyed Our Brand Launch With Irrelevant Tracks
Paid $1,200 for a 'brand-aligned' startup launch playlist. Received a chaotic mix of heavy metal and children’s lullabies—directly contradicting our luxury skincare vibe. When clients laughed at our event, PlaylistBooker refused accountability, claiming 'artistic interpretation.' Unforgivable sabotage.
I hired them for promotion on my song…
I hired them for promotion on my song and they use bots according to Spotify. I was taken down . Also I cannot get any response back from them and my song is now off the market
Worst Customer Service I’ve Ever Encountered
The curator missed every deadline. When I asked for updates, support replied with copy-pasted scripts. After 10 emails, they told me to 'be patient.' When I demanded a refund, they accused me of 'harassment' and blocked my account. Zero accountability.

Received a Plagiarized Playlist Full of Copyrighted Tracks
Hired them for an ad campaign playlist. They delivered a tracklist ripped from a viral TikTok trend, including copyrighted songs we couldn’t legally use. When we complained, they shrugged and said, 'All playlists are original.' Now we’re facing legal risks. Amateur hour.
Misleading Trial Turned Into a $300 Auto-Charge Nightmare
Signed up for a 'free trial' to test their service. No clear disclaimer about auto-renewal. Woke up to a $300 charge without warning. Support refused to reverse it, saying I 'agreed to terms' buried in fine print. Predatory billing tactics—feels like theft.
Curator Ghosted Us Before a Major Event
Booked a curated playlist for our restaurant opening. The 'vetted' curator confirmed, then vanished 24 hours before the event. Zero backup plan from PlaylistBooker. We scrambled to make our own playlist while paying full price for NOTHING. Incompetent and reckless.
Technical Glitches Charged Me 3 Times for One Booking
The payment portal froze mid-transaction, so I refreshed—big mistake. Got charged 3x for a single playlist ($450 total). Their support blamed my browser, refused refunds for the extra charges, and closed my ticket. Stay away unless you enjoy throwing money into a void.
Wasted $200 on a 'Premium' Playlist That Never Arrived
Paid for a custom wedding playlist with 'guaranteed 48-hour delivery.' After 2 weeks of radio silence, I got a generic Spotify link with pop songs we specifically said we hated. No refund, no apology. Support tickets went unanswered for a month. Unprofessional scam.
PlaylistBooker makes it easy to get noticed?
PlaylistBooker makes it easy to get noticed? More like, they make it easy to get ignored. The entire process felt automated and pointless. Sure, it's 'easy' to submit, but that's because nothing actually happens afterward. I'm not glad I tried it; I regret spending a dime on such an ineffective service. Zero results.
