AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Same thing as previous reviews. We made the purchase and there has been no communication in the past weeks. Lights should have arrived 2 weeks ago and I hear nothing!!

We ordered lights on 24 October 2024, delivery time was supposedly long and the lights would arrive on 16 January. Now tried to contact customer service but no response, website down, and found out that the company is bankrupt. So no lights and money gone....

AVOID - Zero Customer Service

Purchased a few lights from this company and had a few issues. Got no response in 3 weeks after repeated contacts.
Delivery time was also very long.

This company is now I believe a scam…

This company is now I believe a scam company. I order over €1,000 worth of Philips lighting almost a month ago - the company does not pickup the phone (it actually Sais the phone system is not available now) - they don't answer their emails and their chat is non existent - I believe this is scam and now will be in touch with the Dutch police to have them close them down - please don't waste your time or money here - go elsewhere !

Really disappointing and I am actually…

Really disappointing and I am actually quite worried. We have ordered all the lights (over 3,000 euros) for our new house. They were meant to arrive a week a go, no answer no emails back and all the phone lines are down. Something is obviously going on with them but absolutely do not order with them. We are now making a report with the police.

Very unpleasant situation!

Very unpleasant situation!
My company was a customer of DM lights, I placed an order with PEEQ, payed the items in advance, the delivery was supposed to come before the holidays and for the past 2 weeks the phone line is disconnected and I have recieved 0 reply to all the emails to the company regarding the status and delivery of my lamps! I have no way of contacting them and if anyone has an idea what to do please write so we can find a solution together. Thank you in advance.

Sales Advice is incomplete or non-existent. Post-Purchase customer servie is very poor

I ordered a lamp from PEEQ, it was ordered through email correspondence directly with a sales representative. This was to ensure that we were ordering the product correctly and with all the necessary parts involved.

During this process we were not advised by the sales representative that we should be purchasing a driver for the lamp, as in the past when PEEQ was named DMlights, the staff advising us provided all the parts necessary for the lamp to function without any further clarifications from us.

What happened was that the lamp was delivered without a driver, and the installation manual in its step-by-step diagrams did not indicate a point where the driver should be connected to the lamp. Hence the electrician following the instruction connected the lamp not realising that a driver was missing. His understanding that the driver was integrated into the body of the lamp somehow.

In the end there was a short-circuit and a burst causing potential harm to the installer as well as those around. When emailing PEEQ to ask about this. They failed to provide a satisfactory explanation as to why the driver was not included in the order and why this was not highlighted to us by the sales person we were in touch with.

Instead they defended themselves by asking us to refer to some parts of their website which state that the product was "incomplete" though the language did not state what part was incomplete. Neither does it require you to select a driver for the light during purchase.

PEEQ has now left our company in the lurch, and failed to escalate this matter to sufficient level of leadership that can take responsibility for their error. As a result, we are left with a faulty lamp installed on the ceiling and a number of emails that take days to get a response from PEEQ.

The service from PEEQ is so terrible I would never recommend it any clients ever again. I would advise any potential customers to steer clear of this website as the current management is not the same as the DMlights we once knew.

We have been loyal customers of DMlights for more about 6 years. And we have continued to purchase lights from this website since it became PEEQ. We have definitely felt a marked drop in the level of customer service even before this incident. I am sorely disappointed with this experience, and after about 1 month of back and forth discussion with PEEQ over emails the matter is not resolved.

PEEQ is constantly trying to push responsibility to ourselves and use their correspondence with the lighting manufacturer as an excuse not to take responsibility for their own poor sales policy and unprofessional lack of advice. I never expected a company to allow their customer service standards to fall by such a severe degree.

Item not actually in stock when ordered, still no delivery 6 months later.

Peeq sold an item (twice) that was not in stock, despite the website indicating it was. The items have still not been delivered (September 2024) and were ordered February 2024.
Customer service has been sporadic and not able to confirm that the items will eventually be delivered. No option for refund has been offered.

Very disappointed by this online store despite otherwise good reviews.

Worst customer service EVER. Avoid!

This company doesn’t annswer its phones. And they take upto 2 weeks to answer emails. They are abhorrent and if I knew they would be so bad to deal with I would never have ordered from them. And will never order from them again.

I ordered a £684 hanging light (North 5640 Wall Light Black) in March… Trying to get answers from them as to when I would receive it was painstaking. I eventually received it 3rd week of May! But it’s missing the base of the light which includes the transformer so I can’t use it. And now I'm facing the arduous task of trying to speak to them again - its a daily dose of anxiety. Its been 8 days since I told them I have received the light with missing parts and no reply yet..

If I can’t resolve the issue in the next 14 days I will just ask American Express to handle it.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

If you can't provide basic customer service then either employ more staff or at least warn your customers during ordering that you have no customer service. Shame on you.

I would avoid ordering here, plenty of competitors that sell the same brands at identical prices.

Optimal communication and action

My request to estimade the cost for sending a new lamp to replace the one that stopped working after 2 year resulted in: guarantee on this one is 5 year, and investigate for nrxt steps, Later I just received the message that a new lamp was on his way. A this was solved only be chatting max 10 minutes in a proffesional correct and friendly way.
