Not paying vendors

We’ve had a very negative experience working with this company. Despite numerous attempts (phonecalls and emails) to reach them, they have not answered or returned our calls. Every time a payment was due, they requested a delay of “just one more week,” and we agreed—showing good faith and flexibility on our end. This issue has been going on since February 2024.

Unfortunately, they have not honored their commitments and continue to avoid communication. We have given them multiple chances, but it’s clear they are not operating in good faith.

Be very careful if you're considering doing business with them.

Spectacularly awful food

The food is truly terrible, I did not even finish the meals I ordered. Other meal delivery services definitely offer much better quality food, which is not hard in comparison. Then the logistics were also not working. Meals were missing and packages not arriving - very chaotic. To name 1 good thing, the customer service was really friendly.

Not Recommended - Poor quality at high price

1. I ordered the four week Get Fit Plan (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack for six days per week). Half way through the 4 week period, OMG changed the concept from fresh meals to frozen meals. Although I believe it makes things easier from a business perspective, from a customer perspective this is not what I ordered, expected, or paid for (currently this plan option is €720). There are cheaper and higher protein frozen meals options available than OMG.

2. Low protein meals - average protein per meal is around 10-15g.

3. Fresh meals also look like they have been frozen at some point, with high water content.

4. Seals on OMG packaging doesn’t hold. I had boxes arrive where the soup leaked into the other content of the box. I also have dinners where the plastic seal is open when it arrived.

5. Three items (especially snacks) have not matched the items on the printed week menu.

All over, it is not good value for money.

Protein content – Our meals are designed to provide balanced nutrition, but we understand that some customers may prefer a higher protein content. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll take it into account for future meal development.

Fresh meals and water content – This should not have been the case. We’ll review this internally and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

Packaging and leaks – This is absolutely not the experience we want for our customers. We’re actively working on improving our packaging, and your feedback is crucial in that process. Our customer service team would be happy to assist you with a resolution.

Mismatch with printed menu – This should not have happened, and we’ll discuss this internally to prevent it in the future. We’d love to know which items were incorrect so we can investigate further.

Disappointed, 3x mistakes in a row

I have been a consumer for two years and I am so disappointed. When I first signed up with them they said they don't use pork in any of their meals and with time that changed but nothing was communicated. Because I had the trust they didn't serve pork (which consuming is against my religion) - I ate TWO meals without checking the ingredient list with full trust in them. Then I received a meal that made me question if it had pork because of the name of it and it did indeed have pork, I flagged it to them and they promised the next box in the membership wont have pork. But IT DID have pork. I flagged it again and they promised the 2nd time it wont have it. BUT IT DID. and then they apologized twice and promised this would really be that last time. But again, it was repeated the third time :) Seems like customer feedback isnt taken into account especially when it impacts our beliefs. I signed up for the convenience to have my food - but I ended up being unconvinced AND I had to pay for it and waste time contacting customer support endless times.

I love the cauliflower dish!

I love the cauliflower dish. It made me feel sated the whole day and I actually lost a pound the next day. The rest of the dishes are wholesome and yummy.

A few incidences

It came one day later than expected and one of the products had opened in the box. Also, the cold packs were no longer cold by then. I odrered one of the meals which had couscous to be extra big... instead of more veggies, they added more couscous. I am sad to say quality has lowered.

Big improvements in quality

The food quality has drastically improved the last few months. We had stopped ordering for awhile because we only liked a few meals and were getting tired of them. Now we’ve enjoyed every single meal from the recent menus. These definitely make weeknight dinners much easier and the small portions are more than enough food per person.

Not very keen to order again

I liked the concept, packaging and variety of meal options but I was not very happy with the taste of the meals. The child Mac&cheese was unbeatable for a child or grown up. The salads were nice and fresh.

I love this meal service

I love this meal service. I have tried hellofresh but I love Oh My Guts more.

When you eat a Oh My Guts meal you feel like you are eating something good for your body. Not only that the portions are filling. Its not about weight loss, its about keeping your body healthy and happy! The meals are super tasty, and something different then anything I can cook.

Their delivery is great. Their packaging is eco friendly and I love that they take the last delivery box (and packaging) when they bring you your new box.

All in all its very convinient to keep yourself healthy and happy with Oh My Guts!
