As an early user of Nimbus, I am quite astonished to read some of these reviews. The app has evolved a lot since its inception, and it was already usable from the start. When I reached out to the team they answered and guided me with the basic setup, and they never had rude attitudes or acted unprofessionally.
The new Fusebase is even better: improved UI, AI has been integrated, and finally the client portals are amazing for providing a service.
To me it's a winner, even if you just want to use it for note-taking. So far it's a completely new and more powerful app that I hope will keep on delivering!

I have been emailing with your FuseBase Web Platform Team since APRIL regarding a refund for an unauthorized billing for services that we are not using. I was told that I would be refunded for this, and now it's FIVE months later and I have yet to receive my refund or any updates. I have been told by team members to contact Aaron Adsit who is responsible for the payment. I have sent him emails repeatedly, I have also been told by customer service that they have forwarded my concerns to him and I have yet to even be acknowledged. Absolutely abhorrent treatment of their customers. Do not get scammed by them.
DO NOT START AN ACCOUNT WITH LiveStartPage. /Evernote / Nimbus / Fusebase.
That's how I got here and its been going down hill with every progression.
I would be a happy customer for life if it JUST WORKED.
But it does not.
And in 2022, things started getting bad and confusing.
Then in 2024 almost all functionality with it dropped off in my instance when google labeled the plugin harmful when used with chrome.
Silence from the support team.
You could not even get the Live Chat to work as it was always busy.
Support to emails were "Oh that's not us anymore" when trying to find out what was going on.
I am willing to deal with a lot of stuff but even being told that buying Nimbus pro will allow me to have my livestart subscription, but that was incorrect.
If you are a company, you might be okay.
If you are a single user, NO BUENO!

You know there is something wrong when they don't have a phone number or an address right on the main site.
I can't find it.
So, I want my $60 bucks back.
I have not used it and asked to cancel back in 2024 with a "Not my department, but here is our new plugin"

That's not how you deal with this.
Truthfully, if they just fixed the issue with LiveStartPage, I would not give toss about the Nimbus/ Fusebase stuff, but even that is borked from the Plugin standpoint.
The Online Fusebase stuff I never got nor cared to use.
The only feature I ever used was the screen capture tool and that broke in 2024 completely under ChromeOS.
Then they had 2 versions of it in 2023 I think.
Lordy....
for a software company, they sure can't keep their software on track.
After Google gave me the Nogo on the plugin, and the payment issues, & how they handle these things - I CAN NOT RECOMMEND Pavvel's company here for personel use.
And LiveStartpage is now said to be a harmful by google chrome last alert I had.

I purchased an Annual Capture Pro subscription from January 2022 to July 2024 for $49 per year and a $249 Lifetime Pro license on July 5, 2020, for project management and data collection. However, I faced significant challenges transitioning from the annual to the lifetime license, as I couldn’t access Pro features, and technical support has frequently been unresponsive to this issue since December 2024.
On July 8, I recorded a 2.5-hour client session using the Chrome extension on Brave Browser, but it froze on the "Processing Video" page. Support suggested using Chrome only, which I followed. A similar issue occurred on October 31, and after multiple follow-ups, no further contact or solution was found by December 1, 2024.
I’m disappointed with the software's performance and inadequate support, especially after spending over $200. I formally request a full refund of my Lifetime Pro license because the software failed to perform its primary function and did not respond to my inquiries. After repeatedly being ghosted by the company despite asking for information on requesting a full refund, I hope making a more public appeal will elicit a response.
I have long considered using FuseBase. I love another well-known app. When they renamed NibusNote to FuseBase and created the option to build my own portal, I didn't hesitate to invest the money. I work as a coach and consultant and need to share coaching techniques, client documents, online course material, financials, etc. with my team. Even my wife (also a coach) loved FuseBase because she is familiar with our portal and doesn't have to learn the whole app. On the other hand, what still needs work is working with the database. Although you can create tables, if the table is larger, it is almost impossible to work with it effectively.
Many companies use dark pattern techniques to make it difficult for users to find how to delete their accounts. This company is one of them. Once an account is created, it cannot be deleted.
Worst experience I've ever had with a softeware company.
I have been begging them for months to cancel my subscription on an account I no longer have access to but they never respond. Yesterday I got a $70 charge and finally had enough. (It's been over $250) I asked for a refund and they offered me credit for a product I don't like or want and will never use.
Buyer beware.

I'm quickly finding awful sync problems between devices. Changes I make on one device (eg Laptop) should show up quickly on another device (eg. iPad or iPhone) but no. Sometimes it takes hours or overnight for the sync to happen. When its happy the sync happens instantly in real time. But on too many occasions, the sync doesn't work. Move a note to a different folder and it may never show up in the folder on another device. Great features, but this is a deal killer.

It is practically impossible to cancel your account. They make you email them to cancel your account, but then they just ignore your emails. Extremely frustrating.
Requested a refund because I no longer require the software but they do not warn you of the annual subscription being debited from your account but since contacting them I have been ignored, multiple times. Unethical business do not trust.
This is such a powerful tool and there are features that are easy to navigate and bring vital importance to what I am working on. You can input files, video, have tabs and much more!
