Sham company.

Phone had a manufacturing defect so I opened a warranty case in January 2015 and sent the phone in. After many complaints my device was never returned. A sham company reported to the Trade Ombudsman with full supporting evidence.

Selling non-compliant electrical goods

Mobility sold an illegal unsafe product, and refused a refund.
£200+ Nikon Camera eventually arrived, it had an illegal, unsafe charger. Not the Nikon UK CE marked plug.
I requested the correct charger on two more occasions, and they again supplied me with non-nikon usb leads and an incorrect 2pin electrical lead. Item was not fit for purpose.
Mobile City keep removing my reviews.
I will keep posting them - everywhere - so people can make informed decisions.

This company is Scandalous

This company is Scandalous, i tries to warn my dad as i read the reviews first...
He recieved a call offering an iPhone 11 he requested a Samsung 20 which they agreed he payed the upfront cost
The next day the phone arrived, but however was the wrong phone they sent an iPhone 10 which was locked and couldn't be accessed.
By dad sent the phone back they said the original phone was being sent with a complimentary gift and money off the first bill
Unsurprisingly no phone has. arrived the phone number for this company is invalid and they have no real website. Please don't be fooled by these companies. I cannot understand how they are still getting away with this .

Scam scam scam

So i got a call from this lady name Alia whom she offered me a contract £45/month with everything unlimited for iPhone 11 pro max. They said they will pay for my remaining contract with three and they will offer me this cheap contract for only £45/months. I was told that i will get the package within 24-48hrs and the day i was supposed to recieved the package i called them and they said there was some delay and i will get the package after four more days. The lady was bitting around the bush and when i asked some other question she twisted her answer and doesnt get to the point. They will asked you your bank details like everything ling card number, sccount number, account name, sort code snd the three security digit at the back of the card to run a credit checks. Never trust this company this is a scam. They will offered you very attractive item at a very cheap price but dont get carried away with that. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Original review was removed, bad experience

When I called to cancel my order I was told that it is impossible to cancel the order over the phone (which all normal companies does allow and encourage) and all communication must be kept on email, which takes forever. First they refused to cancel as they already ordered from the supplier.
Had to open second issue ticket as the first was sending empty emails saying that it is still waiting for my response (after sending two responses).
In the end I got refund, but experience was bad and it took over a week to bounce emails back and forth.
Original review was removed, I guess the company want's to clean up their reviews.

the latest from their bad joke dept.

your refund request dated 14/02/2018.
For the past few weeks, MobiCity UK has been undergoing system enhancements, which affected the timeline in processing refunds.
As we work through the upgrade, we just wanted to let you know that the refund will be processed as we have promised.
MobiCity UK has been in the market for years and wanted to inform you that such things do not happen on daily basis.

Still nothing zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Do not buy from these people.

I ordered a Bluetooth speaker from these people who have supplied nothing. They admitted to a supply problem offered me my money back but never sent it and now do not reply tonsils. As far as I can see they are fraudsters.

NEVER BUY FROM MOBICITY

I have purchased a smart watch from the mobicity web page 3 month ago and they didn't send the item to date in addition to the point that they don't take calls and never replied an email. However, I have refunded the money through my bank disputes department.

I'm still waiting for the goods from October 2017 and now I will not get it anymore. the advice that I can give to anyone in my same situation is to make the complaint to the police post and consequent disregard of the debit on the credit card in the bank. I have repaid the whole sum. good luck

I wish I had checked these reviews…

I wish I had checked these reviews before paying over £300 for a new phone and extra for expedited delivery (3-5 days) and insurance. When it had not even been dispatched a week later I cancelled the order. Cancellation was acknowledged but no refund was forthcoming. I am now going through the claim process with my credit card provider 3 months later. The website now appears to have disappeared! this looks like it was a scam all along!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS

Mid February paid for a new mobile phone for my wife by debit card. I got email confirmation of order and delivery date etc. I got suspicious when the order did not arrive. I then saw all the reviews (which i usually do before i purchase from a new company) and my stomach sank. My phone calls went straight to answering machine. I immediately reported Mobicity as a fraudulent company to Action Faud (fraud and cyber crime centre). Then got on to my bank to claim chargeback. I did not hear from bank after waiting for a few weeks so i chased them. The bank apologised for not actioning. I got my money back in my account a couple of days later. From now on I will purchase goods using my credit card as there is greater protection with chargeback. Although i got my money back this time i have discovered chargeback is not always guaranteed when purchases are made with a debit card.
