If you truly want to learn about options and how they work then Market Taker Mentoring is the place to go. Ever since I became part of the MTM community I’ve improved my understanding of options. Being that I’m a long term stock investor, selling options has really added additional income to my already held positions. Essentially, you are getting paid to wait while your investment appreciates. These guys have a tremendous amount of knowledge! Seriously. Super smart. Dan and John are always helpful when I have questions on current positions. I’m looking forward to learning even more money making strategies they have to offer.

Dan and John are true Professionals. They are very honorable and down to earth individuals who really care about their students. These Two Gentlemen, have traded for over 30 years, each, at the CBOE, their credentials speak for themselves. One great characteristic which each have, they are in no way, condescending or make you feel bad if you're "not getting it..." They teach the fundamentals and technicals but also, what I consider priceless, their real-world experiences, short cuts and other items/topics, a real-world-how-to, which they learned in the pits, over the years. These "secrets" are what they teach. Their knowledge and experience is top-notch. I highly recommend Market Taker Mentoring, if you want to learn anything and everything regarding the Option Market. Great people, honorable people and the best of the best in this niche.

Dan's courses are really good and very easy to understand. They don't charge exorbitantly for their courses.

The best way to learn is with the help of a mentor and I would find it difficult to believe that there are better mentors than the Johns (Kmiecik and Sequin) at MTM. In Group Coaching, the ability to see trade setups and then the thought processes that are necessary for managing the trade is invaluable. The 5 Biggest Mistakes Traders Make lessons(I think there were a total of 20-25) really helped me to identify the weaknesses in my trading (i.e. Holding out for max profit, Not allowing Support or resistance to hold before exiting) and work on improving them (still working on them). If you are serious about learning to trade options and are willing to invest the time, I would find it hard to believe there is a better place to start. Now, repeat after me, "I am a risk manager first. I am a risk manager first..."

Great knowledge and great advice. Dan teaches you the ins and outs so you can trade with confidence. If you are looking for someone just to tell you what to trade then go somewhere else. Dan teaches you how to trade so you can do it on your own for a lifetime.

MTM is hands down the best resource on option trading that I have found. I signed up several years ago and have participated in a majority of their classes at one time or another. Admittedly, option trading is a challenge and it's not for everyone, but if you're interested in option trading, you can find your niche through the MTM courses. They don't say 'do this'. They say 'here's an idea, now you decide'. It's along the lines of 'give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime'.

Last year I attended the Mastermind training. It was excellent and helped me hone my abilities as well as put me in touch with other option traders in the MTM family. The MTM team wants you to succeed and so they go all out to help.

Group Coaching is the best. John K gives you a detailed explanation of his thoughts on possible trades and reiterates basic principles. Oh and he usually includes some quiz questions that put things in perspective. He does this with a great attitude and a lot of humor. I know the time is limited so GC goes fast and I can't always make it to the live class so having the recordings is great.

I have done one-on-one sessions with John K and so connect with him a lot. John S gives a FREE review and outlook of the market in his Monday Morning Meetings. Dan does a majority of the other training that's available. All are excellent in what they do.

Before I joined MTM, I had only traded naked calls and puts, and had little success because of my insufficient awareness of risks. I tried to teach myself hedging strategies - I was destroyed by those P&L diagrams, I was so lost and I thought I would never be able to trade a vertical spread (guys I have a PhD in engineering...)

By coincidence, I attended a live online lecture that Dan offered - It opened up a new world to me. Dan decomposed the P&L diagrams into different price ranges and guided us to calculate the P&Ls and breakevens. He did such an amazing job teaching them, that after just rewatching his lectures a few times, those diagrams became almost a second nature to me. Not only my learning curve was significantly shortened, I learned so many precious things that I wouldn't be able to learn elsewhere. Dan wrote the legendary "Trading Option Greeks" - He passes his knowledge to his students via trade analysis; I was also super enlightened by his "Options Trading in the Eyes of Market Makers" lecture, where he demystified what market makers actually do (aka, "Delta Neutral" ) - It fundamentally changed my misconceptions of how the stock and option market works.

I am also a student of John Kmiecik at his "Group Coaching" class. It's live-trading class every morning. John deep dives his trading ideas in all aspects - technical set up like trends/supports/resistances, picking the proper option strategy, the Greeks, P&L analysis, risk/rewards, and how to manage the trades as the market condition changes. John also coaches us on trading psychology - the wisdom he has gained from his successful trading career. His class is very open and interactive - we all ask questions and share our own trades and John will walk us through his thoughts. I also love the quizzs at the end, they push us to keep learning. It's a privilege to leverage John's wisdom and experience of decades. My daily interaction with him has made me a more disciplined trader, I am a better trade manager, and I am more conscious when I need to sit back and not force a trade.

From the bottom of my heart, I feel that I am (finally) following the right people, having the right resources, and learning to do the right things everyday. I feel confident that over time I can become a successful trader.

I started with MTM early this year. I've started with the TED trades for earnings option strategies, then move to one on one coaching with Joe Leska, participated in their yearly summit, currently involved in the Market Daily Edge calls, to finally going early October 2021 to the Master Minds Conference, which is a 3 day of intense learning and trading all in one room without windows :-). I can say unequivocally that it has been money and time well spent. It is really a mindset changer as to how best approach the nuances of option trading, not only you learn about set ups but also managing limits and stop position or an overall risk management which is crucial to my success. In the end, we know that here are a lot of sources out there to learn about option trading, but Dan P, John Kmiecik, John Seguin not only know their craft extremely well, but to me and what's pretty obvious is that they really enjoy teaching and that goes a long way in making me a better trader. They really go above and beyond expectations.
I will be remised if I don't mention Kathleen in this post, she's the one who makes sure that MTM is running a tight ship.
I recommend anyone interested in learning about options to join MTM, you will be glad you did.

When I started trading several years ago, I attended various seminars, and I was reading a lot of books about trading and specifically about trading options. Before trading options, however, it is pivotal to understand the anatomy of options and how its interdepending parameters are working together and may affect your positions.
It was when I came across Dan’s book “Trading Option Greeks” (also a must read for everyone who wants to succeed with trading options and rated among the best books about options) which helped me to really understand the Options Greeks. When I found out that Dan (MTM) was also offering seminars and workshops, I was very excited about it and immediately signed up for the seminars. That was a total gamechanger for my trading performance so far. It was the start of enhancing the consistency in my trading performance.
Having been professional traders for many years, all MTM coaches bring vast practical experience and knowledge from the real market and the world of trading. What I also appreciate very much is their passion and dedication towards their students. They really want you to understand, apply and progress. Attending various seminars with MTM and the daily “Market Taker LIVE Advantage Group Coaching” has definitely taken to much higher levels with my trading performance. Besides being all very professional they are also very lovely, fun and you feel that they care about you. I feel very lucky to have the chance to learn from the MTM team and I am also proud to be a member of their MTM family.

I first found MTM thru the Options Bootcamp podcast which I highly recommend for any new person to options. From there I signed up for a few classes/instruction thru their website and am now taking one on one coaching. The pace is fast, but the volume of information is vast. These guys really encourage to trade with a system and money management in mind. They are not pie in the sky, but all about hitting singles and not striking out too many times. I highly recommend the MTM community for anyone wanting to progress in the options world.

These guys are excellent teachers. There are many ways to trade options and there is something for every type of trader and situation. They teach you how to manage risk and how to be systematic in your approach, both of which are vital if you are to be a profitable trader. I've learned lots from them over the years and consider them to be pivotal in my success. No matter how much or little you know, they can help you find what works for you.

MTM is the only mentoring/trade idea service that I have ever stuck with. So far I have participated in Dan’s TED class and I am currently in John Kmiecik’s daily group coaching. For me the best way to have participated is in the order that I accidentally came upon. First I listened to most of Dan’s recorded classes such as the MTM education series. This helped me better understand the Greeks and IV. I then participated in TED lessons with trade ideas. Dan does a great job there in demonstrating the relationship between IV and vega as well as the other Greeks. Currently I am in John Kmiecik’s daily group coaching. His class is great but it is best if one gets seasoned on the Greeks first as it can be fast paced when modeling trades… which is awesome and exactly what I was looking for after I was more Greekly educated. John has a terrific sense of humor which makes class fun as well as useful. John learns from us too. Recently he mastered the fact that Winnie the Pooh wears a shirt but no pants and my girlfriend walks around singing chew chew chewy! In all seriousness MTM is awesome. Thanks guys… and Kathleen!

One of the best financial decisions I've made was to enroll in MTM. The instructors are experienced traders, experts in presenting and disseminating their knowledge in a manner which informs, educates and empowers their students.

I attended the Summer Summit put on by Market Taker Mentoring and it was clear that these guys know their stuff. They have years of experience trading options professionally and they teach in a down to earth, common sense way. I signed up for One on One Coaching and also got access to the excellent daily and weekly classes (Group Coaching, Daily Edge and Trade Smart Workshops). I had traded call and put options before but I struggled to make consistent profits. After only a few months of learning with MTM, I am making money trading spreads, properly managing my trades and limiting risk. I am learning the strategies and techniques I need to make money in any market conditions. Signing up for the MTM program was the best investment decision I ever made.

Dan is the real deal. He knows his options. I've traded options before but never calendar spreads as an earnings play. Payed for the Total Earnings Domination boot camp course just to check it out. Totally worth it. My first trade paid for the course. Continuing to do well. Dan's easy style teaching and straightforward steps made things logical on what to look for in an earnings candidate, how to open and when to close. That's it! I don't like things too complicated because I'm an attorney and I have other things on my mind as well. Glad I found him. Great guy. No bs.
