Prompt, efficient service. Jimmy came as planned soon evaluated the issue and solved it. He did not laugh at my attempts to put it right and showed me how to prevent the problem from happening again not cheap but worth it. I will use them again if needed.
Wasn’t told that engineer was coming 45 miles. Didn’t arrive within the advised hour as went to the wrong address despite having the right postcode. Engineer efficient when he finally arrived.

I had an issue with a sticky lock on my back door. The engineer arrived promptly, adjusted the slave door with a hex key and declared the issue resolved (ten minutes work at most). The lock still appeared sticky to me but the engineer insisted I was locking it wrong (it'd been fine for three years prior).
Over the next two weeks the issue persisted and when I finally had time to ring them again, they said if I wanted him to come back, they'd have to charge me again. I spoke to a manager, he spoke to his manager and the most they'd offer me was £20 off the visit - still nearly £100 incl. VAT.
So, they charged me £116 (once VAT was included) for 20 minutes work, which did nothing to fix the issue and when I called them back they said it was my fault for not calling back sooner.
I won't be using them again - they will only come back to a job if they've fitted parts and they can claim the labour under warrantee, if it's only a adjustments they'll offload blame onto the customer to avoid paying out.
Not great...
Follow-up: Since speaking with KeyTek, I've had a local locksmith in. He quickly identified a worn gearbox and has quoted me around £200 to replace it. For £200 I get two callouts, parts, labour and a warranty, KeyTek will charge you that just for the two call outs, even if the locksmith only spends twenty minutes making a few small adjustments and lubricating the fittings, as he did in my case.
A reminder to be wary of big national outfits: they might have the fancy logos and marketing, but they're not as reliant on customer loyalty or word of mouth to stay in business.
Final update: the local locksmith completed the replacement and the issue is completely resolved. The KeyTek engineer misdiagnosed the issue, failed to fix it, charged me for the trouble and customer service refused to do anything about it. Their comment below shows how little they care.

I hope my feedback will help other customers on making informed decisions and the KeyTek to make its service more trustable in the future.
I could have given 1 star but I have to be very honest with myself. Two reasons which made me to put this feedback.
One - Be careful of no call out charge which KeyTek sell to customer. This is not factually truth. As soon as their engineer arrive at your location, they will make you pay £97 plus VAT per hour regardless the repair/fault is fixed or not.
Two - KeyTek tell you on the phone that their engineer will have most parts in their vehicle. They are most likely to fix/repair/change parts on the first visit. There will be very extreme cases the engineer won’t fix the job on the first visit. So, I told them my door is standard double UPBC door and it’s jammed and the key is not opening it. I also inform them this could be faulty key mechanism. The engineer arrives after 6 pm (1810 ish). My mother let him in from the rear door. The engineer uses the sharp metal screw driver and opens the door from inside. I had used that technique previously to open it and the reason I had called specialist is because this was second time. Upon inspection, the engineer finds the gear box is faulty and tells he doesn’t have the right part and it is too late to go and buy the parts to fix it. When I called him on the phone if he could order the parts and come back another day to fix it, the engineer tells me that I must first pay him for this visit, then order parts and he will come back to fix it and there will be separate charge for that. I told him that I am happy to pay him Today’s and next time’s hourly charge when the fault is completely fixed and offer him to pay the deposit for parts to be ordered. The engineer refuses to do that and spoke to the KeyTek hotline operator to discuss the issue. Operator tells me that is the business model they follow and I must pay the cost if I want to proceed with the repair. I tried to convince the operator that I have not received the service yet how can the KeyTek ask for a payment upfront. But the operator adamant that is their business model. I am not sure if you will be happy to pay for a service that you have not received yet. Understand there are some out there they cancel the order but I had offered them to pay the deposit for parts ordered. Two things I would like to highlight here: making customer to pay upfront before the service is delivered and the engineer not having basic parts to fix/repair the door even though my house door is just standard double upvc and it has been in the industry for over 15 years plus. Since I am principally driven person, I made the payment of £116.40 following morning and decided to get someone else to repair my door.
So, if your problem is just a minor repair without needing parts replacement, then KeyTek may be efficient. But if your problem requires parts replacement (which most likely to all of us), then I would not recommend KeyTek as the go to locksmith in terms of both time and cost effectiveness.
Finally, the reason I couldn’t give them 1 star is that both engineer and operator were not rude to me on the phone.

Rob the locksmith who sorted the problem with our front door was great. Did a great job, attended quickly (less than 2 hours from my first call) and worked quickly and tidily. Needed new parts so had two visits but the office called each time to say he was on his way. Would recommend !
