Avoid! Seriously
What an absolute waste-- they make it nearly impossible to use your Virgin air miles. No support line to help with anything. Avoid!
Companies on Trustpilot aren't allowed to offer incentives or pay to hide reviews.

Don’t waste your Virgin air miles! 40,000 points for one night in a “luxury” hotel is simply not worth it. Very inefficient use of air miles, it’s more effective to change them to Hilton Honours points.
We booked 6 nights and it cost us 240,000 miles for an OK hotel.
Also the website is extremely frustrating to use, the hotels keep disappearing. When you slightly change the dates and then change them back to the original dates, the hotel has disappeared!
Waste of time and money, won’t be using our Virgin air miles with Kaligo again
Avoid! Kaligo will not support you (the customer) in a dispute with their hotel suppliers - even in the case of misrepresentation within the advert.
Illusion Hotel by Xperience in Playa del Carmen was our visit - specifically selected for gym and breakfast/restaurant facilities (important to our agenda).
When we arrived, the restaurant was closed "for for the foreseeable future" and breakfast was a walk around the corner to a "place" that served only washed out coffee and the greasiest scrambled eggs as breakfast. That's all. Nothing else. Not even an apple.
There is no gym on site - the gym is a 10+min walk down the road to someone else's facilities. Not a terrible concept, just not what was advertised and a material hindrance to our plans.
Nevermind the clean but brownish towels and bed linen that felt and smelled musty (something the excellent concierge could / would fix, but nothing he could do about the gym & restaurant, of course).
No surprise it is non-refundable. Clearly one for the ASA as the adverts are misleading.
Total Rip Off!!!
The price for 1 night is the same as 4-5 nights at another website.
Example: 90$/day. Other website: 90$/4days (total price)
I was referred to Kaligo by Virgin Velocity to help me cancel accommodation in Sicily that I would not be able to use due to coronavirus restrictions on travel to Italy. Although the staff must be overwhelmed by people looking to make cancellations Laissa was able to help me and very promptly. I will be getting the points and pay for my accommodation refunded. I'm very impressed with the service, especially at what must be a very stressful and busy time for anyone in the travel industry. Well done! Nada
Use Kaligo at your own peril. Awful awful company. Sold me a room they didn’t have, then was told 6 weeks for a refund.
Utterly hopeless like the other reviewer said. We paid $800 in room reservation due in a week. I accidentally clicked the cancel button & proceeded to call them within 1 minute. The CS Sharifah said that my booking is non-refundable & there’s nothing they can do to reverse it even though it was within that minute it not seconds. When asked if there’s a manager I can speak to, she said “i’m The only one here”.
Stay away! My first & last time using Kaligo! I’ve never had this kind of experience with Expedia, they go out of their way to help you. Once we had to cancel a non-refundable booking when my son fell ill, they even managed to refund 50% of my booking. I will only go with Expedia in future.
Website don't have all the features of other travel portals, but I like that its simple and no flashing messages (like "2 other people just booked - quick before there's nothing left"). Had to request a special arrangement for the room and customer service was very quick.
They advertise rooms they do not have available - yet you are able to book, your confirmation either fails or they tell you the hotel has no "inventory".
They do however preauthorize your credit card up to 2 times for every booking and you wait several days before the Authorisation is released , which then prohibits you from booking anywhere else if you have insufficient credit on your credit card. Worst booking service ever.
Most horrible hotel booking website ever. Will never ever use Kaligo again and I recommend all those thinking of racking miles and using Kaligo to BEWARE!
After charging your credit card and debit funds, they send an e-mail to say that the hotel rooms I had supposedly booked are not available. If rooms are not available, why even charge the credit card for? Why can’t you charge only once there is a confirmed booking, so that a customer does not get shortchanged and disappointed or even worse?
My Citibank credit card was charged on 24/06/2017:
24/06/2017 *KALIGO HOTELS SINGAPORE SG USD 7,499.62 SGD 10,726.84
On 26/06/2017, I see on my Citibank credit card statement online that a credit of:
26/06/2017 *KALIGO HOTELS SINGAPORE SG USD 7,499.62 SGD 10,092.04
Where did the difference of SGD 634.80 (SGD 10,726.84 - SGD 10,092.04) disappear to?
The correspondence below speaks for itself.

I don’t think that your hotel suppliers have updated their latest room rates and availability in your inventories… See attached… Still shows available and at the same room rate I had initially purchased… thanks for trying to pull a fast one…

Dear Mr. Low,
Thank you for your reply.
At the time when the booking was made, there was a prompt that the booking was pending final confirmation from the hotel and that we will update you within 24 hours about the status of the booking. We have tried to confirm this with our hotel supplier however we are unable to do so as advised previously. Pleas rest assured that our hotel suppliers have already updated their latest room rates and availability in our inventories which have been reflected on the website as well.
I hope that clarifies, and please feel free to let me know again if we can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Reyna Ong (Ms.)

Hi, why don’t you tell me what hotels are genuinely available on Kaligo (as per my travel schedule/itinerary), before I start the process again, otherwise my credit card will only be debited yet again and then receive an e-mail below?

Dear Mr. Low,
Greetings from Kaligo.com.
I am writing with regards to your pending booking for the Hotel Indigo London Kensington - Earl's Ct on 1 July - 8 July 2017.
Unfortunately, we were unable to confirm your booking with the hotel as the room rate that you selected for the 3 rooms are no longer available.
We have refunded the amount back to the credit card used to make the booking, and it may take within 5 working days (depending on your bank process as well).
I have checked on the website and can see that there is still availability for alternative hotels that you may want to consider.
Please be advised that it would be recommended to include the 2nd and 3rd lead guest name for the other 2 rooms to ensure smooth check-in as the names can be registered in the hotel system for verification.
Please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused and should you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Kind Regards,
Reyna Ong (Ms.)

I used Kaligo booking service to get some extra miles , price was better than most hotel search engines ; check in was no hassle , reservation was confirmed . Miles were credited to my account in less than a week .Will use again.
Buyer beware: If a Kaligo deal looks good, you might be in for a surprise when you arrive.
We booked a romantic villa through Kaligo for a birthday weekend, but found out on arrival that they booked us in a cheesy family resort instead. Had to pay extra money to try to salvage the weekend.
Kaligo admits they falsely advertised, but refuse to compensate for their mistake.
They constantly lie and do not execute their obligations.
My rservation #228-438747. It was in November, 2016. Since that time they owe me 12620 Miles of Aeroflot bonus.
After expiry of the term for mile's I have mantioned about it several times before they gave me anything. Anything but not everything that they must.
I earned 12620 miles. Thay gave me only 4810. After my letter thay said that it was a mistake and gave me 3000 more. But 3000+4810 is not 12620.
Every time when I ask about the rest of my miles they have a lot of fairy tales for me. But I don't need fairy tales, I need my miles and I'm not sure that I receive them anywhere.
Excellent service and offering by Kaligo. I booked a hotel for a work trip to Dubai for a week and earned enough Avios for two European flights with my wife, which we will spend in France.
Whole process was nice and smooth.
