Bobs your uncle.

Used Hawkshaw as it was recommended by a colleague. The entire process took around 4 weeks. There is a second cheque that I haven't received as of yet, but HMRC hasn't sent it off to Hawkshaw as of yet. All in all can't fault them.

I too stupidly signed up on line and they took 48% of what HMRC owed me - HMRC informed me of the settlement in Sept only just getting half the amount next couple of days - worried now they will actually pay it
Don’t touch them!

Thieves, Liars & Scum

1 star as I can’t put 0.
I am currently chasing them for over £300, been fed nothing but lies and now I get no response.
Does anyone have a phone number for these thieves ?
I will take this as far as I need to, if I have to go and pick my money from their door then I will…

UPDATE: After informing them that I have now raised it through “Action Fraud” (Which I advise you do) I have received part of my money back.
Still currently chasing the rest.

My advice is raise the complaint through HMRC and get in touch with Action Fraud to get them to investigate Hawkshaw LTD.

Do not let them get away with stealing your money.

UPDATE: after chasing and chasing, I have secured my money, amount was lower (£149.87p) I was told this was their “fee” I informed them that wasn’t acceptable considering I was lied too.
Got the few reduced and secured more of MY money.

I've been emailing and calling them for…

I've been emailing and calling them for days now I've had no reply back from any of my emails and get disconnected after being on hold for 20mins. I've called hmrc and they have told me that my claim was invalid so now I have to go through a fraud department and try to sort it out myself. Why on earth would hmrc send a check to a company like this without even letting the person know first? Absolutely disgusting conpany DO NOT CLAIM WITH "HAWKSHAW LTD"

Deserve no stars

Deserve no stars. As everyone else has said theives. They have stolen £330 of my money, I got a copy of the form I supposedly filled in and my name is even spelt wrong. The worrying thing is if you Google this company it can quite easily be seen to be a scam so WHY are HMRC still sending them cheques this also needs looking in to.
They are a government department and should be 100%sure of who they send cheques to

Update from my previous review

Update from my previous review, today I received a copy of the form from HMRC that was sent to them by hawkshaw, signature so clearly different to mine however you can see that they’ve attempted to copy the first bit and then given up and sent with only initials forged! How can HMRC allow this??
Anyway… for anyone that can’t find a phone number online for them as I couldn’t, their number is on the form that was sent to HMRC, not sure If I can post on here but if you all demand a copy of the form you’ll get the number

Cease and Desist

I received a two text messages to my cell phone on 17/10/23 telling me about they can claim refund taxes for PPI. I first thought, how did they get my number and they I decided to google the company and the website came up legit. I then hestitated at first to fill out the form online by giving my name, contact number, and signed my signature. But stupid me did. What I then did, is look for any scam to this company and I came across forum and the comments said it all...Now, I wish I saw this first before given my details over. I did send a message to Hackshaw on their website telling them I want to cancel the request agreement also I emailed them telling them to cease and desist and not pursue any claims on my behalf and I will forward a copy of the email to the FCA...And report them to Fraud Team. By the way Hawkshaw Ltd is base in Machester and the CEO is a Pakistani his name Zulfiqar Abdullah you can find the registered company 13731301 details on UK Government website.
