My experience was amazing. My procedure was a rhinoplasty. The team work really well together and are so welcoming, I was very nervous but they did amazing at reassuring me and calming me down. I loved the doctor’s work all over social media and knew I had to go to him! My results are absolutely perfect and I could not be happier! This is the second time myself and my husband have visited Dr Gorkem Astal's last year we both had upper and lower blepharoplasty the results are outstanding and subsequently we decided to embark on a journey that for a long time we had only discussed. For us these weren't decisions made on a whim but rather a thoughtful process aimed at feeling more confident and comfortable in own skin. I underwent a deep plane face and neck lift, while my husband had a hair transplant. We would like to take this opportunity to share our experiences to help others who might be considering similar or the same procedure. I had been noticing signs of aging on my face and neck that no amounts of skin care or at home treatments could address.After extensive research I decided on a deep plane face and neck lift was the option for me. The deep plane technique was explained to me by Dr Gorkem Astal this repositions the deeper tissues and muscles to the face which result in a more natural and long-lasting result compared to traditional lifts. The consultation process was crucial to discuss my goals and I made sure to choose someone who specialized in this specific technique and with whom I had total trust in. The day of the surgery was a mix of excitement and nerves. The procedure was performed under general anaesthesia. The recovery was manageable; I experienced swelling and bruising and slight discomfort but the pain was controlled with medication. The results one week on have been remarkable. The swelling is subsiding and I am thrilled to bits with how natural my face is looking. I now have a jawline and my neck is smoother and my overall appearance is refreshed and rejuvenated without looking pulled. I has truly boosted my self-confidence and I am so pleased I chose this procedure and Dr Gorkem Astal and his professional attentive team. My Husband had been dealing with hair loss for a number of years which had a significant impact on his self-esteem. He decided to undergo a hair transplant a procedure that involved harvesting hair from a dense area to the balding area. His procedure was a follicular unit extraction (FUE) which is known for a less invasive recovery and no scaring. His experience from consultation to recovery was very different from mine. The procedure was done under local anaesthesia and he was awake for the entire time. He said it was a long day but not painful just a little uncomfortable at times especially sleeping, he has minor swelling and redness and the donor area was a little sore for a few days but he is now back to normal. His results are still in process of becoming fully apparent, as hair growth takes time, however he is already seeing new growth and his hairline looks incredibly natural. He is thrilled with the process so far and is already starting to feel more confident. It was helpful to have each other for support and understanding. We have learned that these decisions are deeply personal and finding the right doctor and also having realistic expectations are the key to a positive outcome. We are both very happy with our decisions and the results we have. If you are considering having cosmetic surgery, we hope our story provides a bit of insight and encouragement. I cannot rate Dr Gorken Astal and his dedicated team enough. They arrange everything for you, support you constantly and you don't have to worry about transfers accommodation, the accommodation was exceptional.

recently got a hair transplant here and the experience was absolutely incredible. The customer service was top notch. The team answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. While it’s still early to see the full results, I’ve already been getting compliments on the work which says a lot about their skill and professionalism. I’ll be posting photos later but I can already say I couldn’t be happier with how everything went.

I travelled to Istanbul on the 17th of August and had my surgery with Dr. Görkem Atsal on the 19th of August 2025. I had a deep plane facelift, an upper and lower brow lift, and a neck lift.

From the very first conversation with my medical consultant, Sahar, I felt completely looked after. She was so kind, patient, and helpful, always answering my questions and putting me at ease. When I arrived, I was met at the airport by a driver, and from that moment on everything was organised perfectly.

The nurses and medical staff at the clinic were amazing — caring, attentive, and always there when I needed them. Dr. Görkem Atsal’s assistants were just as wonderful, making me feel comfortable and supported throughout the whole process.

And of course, Dr. Görkem Atsal himself — what can I say? He is truly outstanding. His skill, professionalism, and the results he has given me have exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, and I’m so grateful I chose him and his team.

I can honestly say the whole experience was 5-star from start to finish. If you’re thinking about surgery, I cannot recommend Dr. Görkem Atsal and his team highly enough. They’ve given me not only incredible results but also an experience I’ll never forget.

The Most Abominable Experience of My life AVOID Gorkem Atsal & His “Team”

I was promised a 30% flight cashback to have surgery with Dr. Gorkem Atsal. Instead, I was left with severe facial scarring, a ruined nose, and permanent disfigurement from poor technique and misplaced incisions.

When a highly respected revision surgeon emailed concerns about my results and a request for the surgical report his team ignored the warning. Instead he was blocked.
I was told to “give it time”for the healing — the classic excuse used to downplay botched, unskilled work in the hope the patient will stop complaining. Atsal Gaslighting!

Rather than fixing the damage, they blocked me, issued legal threats, and tried to intimidate me into silence. I have an audio recording from a woman in Queensland, Australia; a tall blonde who admits she receives kickbacks from the Atsal crew. This confirms what I now believe: their priority is profit, not patient safety just PROFIT. The way his promoters describe the industry as “cut-throat” suddenly makes sense , they’ll do whatever it takes to get you on the table, regardless of outcome.

I have since spoken to many women with equally devastating results… misplaced incisions, failed facelifts, botched neck lifts, and permanent scarring. The so-called “after-care” is nothing more than damage control for botched work.

This was the most abominable experience I have ever endured. I have documentation, photos, and recordings to support every claim. My sincere warning: do not risk your face, health, or safety with this surgeon or his team.

After reading a couple of bad reviews about the Dr. and his assistants, i want to share my real experience with them, without leading you blind.
I’ve had a rhinoplasty done with the Dr.- last week, it’s beginning of my second week now. I am writing this review regarding the treatment, the hospitality and everything overall. I wont be saying anything huge about my rhinoplasty, yet.

First thing first the price i paid was for operation, hotel and transport fees. As transport i mean from airport, to clinic, to hospital and back to airport, don't expect to be driven everywhere you like for free.
The first person that introduced me to everything was one of his assistant Gulce. Gulce speaks really good English (maybe other languages, but that was the language we spoke). She was really patient with every question i had towards the rhinoplasty, and she is very sweet as person too.
On my day of arrival, it was a late flight and i couldn’t do nor a consultation, nor the tests needed for the operation. The next day, early morning, they always texts you the night before to let you know what time the driver will pick you up from the hotel, i went for me consultation with the Dr. and his assistants. By the way before your arrival his assistant makes a group chat with all his assistants, a private group chat just for you if anything needed after work times . The Dr. speaks good English, please note that in Turkey they don't teach them english in school or etc. so don’t judge if the accent is not good. The Dr. is really nice, was very patient with doing my 3D result of my rhinoplasty, because I didn’t liked it 3 times 🤭 Overall first impression was good for me, good manners, gives you tea or coffee, everything you need is there. They have modern interior, new machines.

The next day was my operation… here i do have to say a few things about the hospital service. The 5 stars on my review is for the Dr. and his crew, nothing to do with the hospital. When going for the operation you are put in a private hospital, yes he doesn’t own a hospital and so does a lot of other Drs in Turkey. I was put in a room by myself, the room was clean, new and spacious. First thing we did was get blood tests, then i signed the documents for the operation, which his assistant Asal was with me the whole time in hospital and was really sweet and patient with me as i am scared of needles. Because i mentioned to the Dr. I’ve had a heart surgery as a child he insisted to be checked, i was rushed up and down the elevators, later i saw that the Dr. was arguing with the medical sisters on shift for making me go up and down, as i was already in my hospital gown and abocat and was not really comfortable. I was really touched by that, because i felt safe.
My operation went well, didn’t feel any pain in my nose to this day. The only pain i was feeling was my abocat, it was hurting so bad that i think this was the worst of all. And nobody spoke english in the hospital, so it was a nightmare. I only stayed 1 night at the hospital and was driven back home. Before going home the Dr. came to check up on me and explained what he has done to my nose.

After 3 days my nose cast was removed and the things they put inside your nostrils, dont know the correct name. That was the best part of all. Then the Dr. explained what and shat not to do, how to massage it, i am very pleased of the communication i had with him as Dr and patient, note that i was by myself.

Until this day i keep in-touch with his assistant Gulce, asking any questions, they insist to take pictures every day to follow your healing process, which for me sounds enough for a Drs job and team. I am pleased with the choice i made, i felt at home.

I’m here to share my story. Three years ago, I had a rhinoplasty in Harley Street with a surgeon (I won’t mention the name). The price was really high, but like many women, I was ready to pay anything to look and feel better. Sadly, it turned out to be the worst decision. My nose was ruined, and even after waiting a year, the tip looked worse than before.

A year later, after going through some personal stress, I felt like I looked older than my actual age. I had another consultation and video call with Sahar and Dr. Atsal. This time, I decided to go ahead with a face and neck lift, plus a temple lift. The price was very reasonable, and I even brought my mum along we both had our surgeries done on the same trip! 😄

Since I was already there, I thought, why not get my teeth done too? Everything was very well organized, and the care we received was amazing. From start to finish, Sahar and the team took care of every detail.

I’ve now had two surgeries with Dr. Atsal, and my mum has too. We’re both beyond happy with our results. If anyone is considering surgery abroad, I highly recommend Dr. Atsal and his team💕

I had my surgery in 2023 and I couldn’t be happier. I had revision rhinoplasty, cat eye, upper and lower blepheroplasty and a corner lip lift. The staff was amazing from the time we got there (even accommodated my bf and I at the time when our luggage was lost at the airport). They were fabulous ! I felt safe and comfy the entire process. Dr. Gorkem was extremely kind, meticulous and confident in all the procedures we had discussed. The results have been amazing! My face looks refreshed and I couldn’t be happier ! I will be following up with him soon for more surgeries! I will only go to Dr. Gorkem for any of my facial plastic surgery procedure going forward! He is well worth the trip from the USA! At 66 years of age, I decided to put some youth back into my face. After exhaustive research I found Doctor Atsal. I had previously sent enquiries to Bangkok, Mexico and to a few other doctors in Istanbul. I was even rejected by one doctor who stated that I was too old. We decided on what procedures would be best for me. This included a deep plane face and neck lift, Blepharoplasty, and a hair transplant.

The staff in Doctor Atsal's practice were extremely accommodating. They met me at the airport, got me settled into the hotel and took all of my nervousness away straight off.

Most of my online contact was with Sahar. She made my stay very comfortable and dealt with my daily barrage of questions. I cannot thank her enough. But this also holds true with every member of the staff that I interacted with. Each and e very one of them was great.

The process is straight forward. There are no endless appointments and discussions. Everything you will have done will be arranged during your online consultations and the photos you send. You will have one visit to the hospital for a medical evaluation and the next morning you will meet Doctor Atsal and he will get right into the procedure. The hospital was clean and the staff was attentive, the language was sometimes a barrier so I would recommend downloading a translation app to your phone. I spent one night in the hospital and did most of my recovery in the hotel.

My hair transplant took place about 5 days later. This procedure was performed in a state of the art clinic with some amazing staff.

I am 5 months into recovery and my results are really taking shape. My hairline has been restored and I have been told that 15 years have been taken off my face. I do have some persistent numbness on the sides of my face, but I'm told it will take some time as Dr. Atsal did some extensive pulling of those muscles to tighten up my chin. My scarring has for the most part cleared up. I had been using a little makeup to conceal them, but I stopped using it last week.

Everyone's journey will be different. The one thing I learned from all this is that you must be patient for your results to show, but keep in mind that eventually everything will take shape. Spitting sutures, itching, numbness and some minor pain and discomfort are all a part of the healing process.

Doctor Atsal is an excellent surgeon in my humble opinion. He is also a very good person who is easy to talk with. He constantly had me back in his office or the hospital to check on my recovery and he genuinely cared about my well being right up to and including the morning of my departure. I left Istanbul feeling like I had new friends.

If you are contemplating having this done, just do it. You will not regret your decision.

Absolutely phenomenal. I went to Dr. Gorkem searching for a younger appearance. Little did I know he would be able to take off 20 years off the radar. I never liked the idea of plastic surgery and I wasn't really looking forward to it, it takes a bit of courage if you ask me, but it certainly pays off, I feel much more confident with my new appearance and that really affects your attitude towards life, to feel nice with yourself is something that really has power. And I owe it all to Dr.görkem's team of professionals and his fabulous work. They really enjoy what they do and they do it greatly.

I came to Dr Atsal for Rhinoplasty after doing lots of research online. While i was here we discussed some other cosmetic concerns i had and decided on further procedures. When i mentioned a facelift he guided me away from that and said i didn't need it. Im very happy with the results, service and price i paid. His team were so friendly and helpful. Dr Atsal guided me through each stage and reassured me. I would 100% recommend him and his team.
