Misleading Information on Website
I had an extremely frustrating experience with GoldSilberShop.de. Their website clearly states that Bitcoin is an accepted payment method, and I even have screenshots proving this. However, during the order process, Bitcoin was not selectable. Assuming this could be handled later, I placed the order in good faith.
Afterward, I received an email informing me that Bitcoin was no longer accepted, without any option to cancel or discuss alternatives. Left with no choice, I purchased gold for a significant amount from another dealer. Later, GoldSilberShop.de sent me a payment reminder, insisting that I also pay for the original order.
When I called to discuss the issue, I openly expressed my disappointment. Initially, the representative didn’t even believe me when I said Bitcoin was still displayed as a payment method on their website. When I mentioned that I would have to reflect this negative experience in reviews, I was met with a dismissive and unprofessional remark, accusing me of making threats.
The entire situation began due to misleading and outdated information on their website. Instead of taking responsibility, they shifted the blame onto me as the customer. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I advise anyone considering purchasing here to exercise caution and double-check everything before proceeding.
