Don't trust Glintum.com

I have had serval payments to this company. Which my bank stopped payments and refund the money. I yet again had a attempt by this company on the 12th of September 25. I think that everyone in the UK should report this company to be Action fraud uk so they can stop this company from operating in the UK. I am wondering how many old people have been scammed

Payment taken out for £39.99

Payment taken out for £39.99. Phoned the card provider who said to contact the company. Done that and they have responded asking for the card number.

I was trying to get a parking app

I was trying to get a parking app, but straight after asking to verify a card for payment a Glintum.com page appeared I closed it down straight away but noticed a couple of days later 1 pence had been taken from my account & there was a pending transaction for £39.99 I informed the bank I suspected this is a scam, my card was cancelled & a new will be issued, it's convenient but at least I spotted it early, before they had chance to take anymore, the bank said similar had been reported when trying to download a car parking app, be really careful, if you are in a hurry to pay for parking..just take a minute to double check as scammers will try to catch you off your guard...avoid anything 'Glintum'

I believed I was purchasing a garden…

I believed I was purchasing a garden tool and ended up subscribing unknowingly to a subscription . Do not purchase. I am in financial strife and could not afford to be robbed of £39.99 on two occasions. This practice needs to be banned. Horrified.

£39.99 appeared in my credit card…

£39.99 appeared in my credit card account - fortunately Nationwide flagged it as possible scam so will be refunded, but only after the inconvenience of having to get a new card sent out. On the scam-checking websites it is shown as probably legit - but also that their website has zero traffic (hardly the sign of a reputable company)

Scam.

Had a message from the bank this morning stopping a payment of £39.99 suggesting suspicious activity. Stated that a payment was made on-line on Monday 18th which I know I had not made and confirmed. Glintum appear to attach themselves to a legit payment, several days earlier to get the card details. The bank says scammers are getting cleverer.

Scam download

Although I had not downloaded or subscribed to this company they still managed to take £39.99 out of my bank account, and deny that I have an account. Attached themselves to the sabre app at the hospital parking.

Scammers and thieves

I had an alert from my bank this morning telling me a payment of £39.99 was pending to this company Glintum. Who are they?? I've never heard of them. I've stopped the payment and my bank are looking into it as a scam. I then checked my emails and have received two emails (in spam) thanking me for my subscription????? WTF

I would put no stars if possible

I would put no stars if possible, noticed a transition for £30.99 on my credit card pending, informed Halifax, they said wait until moved from pending to charged. I did this & the card was cancelled whilst it was investigated. Total scam Halifax sorted it, but am furious this crime was committed.

Scammers...…

Scammers...I was verifying a payment for a car parking transaction, when I realised the site had changed without warning to these clowns. I thought no more about it until I saw a failed attempt to collect £39.99 from my credit card a few days later.
Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Warning - refusal to cancel a transaction never made

Three days ago I spotted an unknown pending transaction for the amount of £39.99 on my bank account from glintum.com, a company I've never heard about before. I immediately froze my account, and sent them an email asking to cancel this transaction and gave them my full name, sort code and account number. Two says later I received a reply from Hline customer services, saying that they could not find my account, and asking me to send them the first 6 and the last 4 digits of my bank card in order to identify my account. I replied that the reason why they could not find my account is simple: I've never created one. I told them that the industry standard for payment identification is just the ladt 4 digits, and that the details I left them are sufficient for them to call my bank and ask for the transaction to be cancelled. However, their reply reiterated that without me disclosing the requested digits of my bank card number they cannot help me.
The bank recognised glintum.com as fraudulent and dully cancelled the transaction once reported.
This company is to be avoided. The one star I gave does not do justice to the awful customer service they provide. Unfortunately, not selecting any star was not an option.
Avoid glintum.com at any cost!

Signed up into a subscription during a verification scam

As others have mentioned, I got automatically signed up to this when going through a £0.00 credit card payment to verify my identity (payment name deximu.com). I only found out when I happened to look in my Spam e-mail folder, and saw that I was signed up, and that this e-mail came in at the time I was doing the verification. Yet I didn't even have a log in to the website! And nor was my e-mail address recognised when I tried to recover!
Unless you unsubscribe via the button, you may be changed £39.99 after three days, for a subscription you never agreed to.

Should be a minus 5 star option

Should be a minus 5 star option - this is a Scammer/Fraud company. They hijack the sign-up for a parking app (Ring Go) and take your bank details for unspecified services which turn out to be access to games. Three days later they take £39.99 as an ongoing subscription. Luckily my bank spotted them as fraudsters and stopped the payment which is now blocked. They are one of a number of scam companies working under the same umberella see also Deximu.com and CKWEdge.com. Avoid at all costs.
