Endeavour Law has been supporting clients since 2013. We have experienced solicitors providing clear, practical advice across all areas of family law, including divorce, finances, and child arrangements. Our team works nationally, offering consultations by phone and WhatsApp for convenience, as well as in-person meetings at our three offices in Bridgend, Church Village, and London. *** Alongside family law, we have a well-established private client and conveyancing department. Director Meinir Evans leads our Church Village office, while Head of Private Client Joanne Matthews is based in Pencoed, offering trusted advice on conveyancing, wills, lasting powers of attorney, and deputyship applications. *** For our London clients, consultant solicitor Dean Vickery provides advocacy and flexible support, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, ensuring busy professionals can access advice when they need it most. *** Frequently Asked Questions *** Q: How long does a divorce take in England and Wales? * A: A divorce takes a minimum of 26 weeks. This includes a 20-week reflection period after the application is issued and a further 6-week waiting period before applying for the final order. It can take longer if financial or child arrangements are still being resolved. *** Q: What am I entitled to after a divorce? * A: Entitlement depends on the length of the marriage, financial contributions, and future needs of both parties. The court’s aim is to reach a fair outcome, which does not always mean a 50/50 split. *** Q: What happens if my ex denies me access to the children? * A: You can apply for a child arrangements order. If granted, this sets out when the children spend time with each parent. Breaching the order can result in legal consequences. *** Q: How long does conveyancing usually take? * A: Most property transactions take between 8 and 12 weeks, depending on factors such as the length of the chain, mortgage offers, and searches. Our private client team will guide you through the process to keep things on track. *** Q: Why should I make a will? * A: A will ensures your estate passes according to your wishes. Without one, the intestacy rules apply, which may not reflect what you want. It can also make things simpler and less stressful for your loved ones. *** Q: What is a lasting power of attorney (LPA)? * A: An LPA allows you to appoint someone you trust to make decisions about your finances or health and welfare if you are no longer able to do so. Setting one up gives you control and peace of mind. *** Q: What is a deputyship order? * A: If someone has lost capacity and has not made an LPA, their family may need to apply to the Court of Protection for a deputyship order. This gives authority to manage their financial affairs and make decisions in their best interests.

Minus 20 stars
Started a divorce, paid about £1000
Hardly contacted, lied too, they say they are further on than you are, then say it’s going to cost some more money
What a bunch of cowboys
Refuse to refund any amount
Had to get a new solicitor

They took about £400 and I applied for free court costs, then they said I took too long to submit my bank statements but I sent them to them immediately I got the email. So they said my application has been rejected so I have to pay an extra £610 ,so I’m not risking paying them any more money so I will stay separated for the rest of my life . I have emailed them several times asking for my money back, they don’t respond. They don’t tell you the total price, they add more as you go, total scam they should not be allowed to continue like this.

I would advise don't bother with this firm thry have an 0800 number but only for new business thry have no number to actually speak to anyone
All you get is ill pass this on, this firm is joke
With my personal experience of this company it has taken 3.5 years to actually get nowhere with my divorce. The only people who have dealt with my case have been juniors with no experience in legal proceedings at all. I have had several juniors advise me that they will manage my case and keep me informed every step of the process. This unfortunately has never happened and the only time anything has been done is when I have called to check progress. Sat on emails that should have been responded to for 3 months and missed lots of deadlines. It's as if I have been forgotten about because I took their cheaper offer option. So 3.5 years later I have to request the refund of my money. The above is the truth, has actually happened to me personally plus a lot, lot more that I am not allowed to say....

All started promising but then it’s as if they forget about you. The only response is I will pass it to the legal team and then you hear nothing. I started my divorce 2 weeks after my friend her divorce was through a couple of months ago she had problems but her solicitors were on it straight away. Unfortunately mine take 3 months to sanction things and this is utterly unacceptable causing stress and anxiety. I may be divorced sometime in the future but cannot see it happening soon, it’s like they actually cannot be bothered to do the job I have paid for. So very disappointed in them

I was passed on to this company by quickee divorce. It’s been far from quick! I paid for the upgrade for a faster service (they said 6 months but it’s already over a year and still having issues over a completely simple divorce!) and for them to do all the paperwork and what a waste of money that was as I’ve had to do most of it myself - or had to pay more again! I’ve asked if I can have money back as they admitted themselves that they forgot to chase up on something from my ex at the start of the process but that seems unlikely. It would have been easier to just apply to the local court directly myself and it would have all been sorted months ago at much lest cost.
*I am adding to this review following their feedback - no it is not satisfactorily resolved! Someone phoned me yesterday and tried to blame the court for not giving them info when someone in their own team admitted to me at that time that they should have followed up on a response. Not happy. No acknowledgement or refund for that extra service I paid for. Cost me at least 3 months’ delay to divorce. Do it yourself I’d say if it’s a simple divorce*

My divorce case was originally with Quickee Divorce but due to the ex wife making things difficult I needed to pay more money to 'upgrade' my package and my case was taken over by Endeavour law. I only upgraded so that I could have help filling out the D11 form but it seems that these 'solicitors' got stuck on the notice of acting. They told me they had submitted it in early April and I had to wait 8 weeks for it to be approved. Im still waiting. They have been very unforthcoming with any results despite me asking for updates, eventually I decided to progress on my own, i used chatGPT to help me fill in my form, i suggest you all do too, and request a refund for services not recieved. This was denied as they had already started working on the case. Doing what exactly i ask myself... It turns out that the courts never received the notice of acting and that the solicitors have to add themselves to the case through their online portal and the court only has to acknowledge that they are added. Ive waited months for any progress on my case for nothing. Its now moving again despite being held up buy these scammers. Avoid them at all costs. I dont expect ill see any refund from neither endeavor ( to make things difficult) law or (not) Quickee divorce.
Edit- I have provided the information required through trustpilot but im not shocked that you are unable to find it. My client number is 01028039

Well judging by the reviews, it looks like I have been scammed as well. As if going through an unwanted divorce isn't stressful enough with out being scammed. My experience matches alot of the one star reviews. In the initial conversation I asked if that was the only cost of the divorce and she said yes. The next person said yes but there is court costs but we should be able to get them reduced. I received an email on the 17th June stating they had reduced the courts costs. I paid on the 28th June and I have just been advised that I now need to pay all the courts costs as failed to pay in 28 days!!! That was not mentioned in the original email. Everything about this seems a total scam praying on people when they are at their weakest and want a quick win/break. I feel I have just thrown bout 900 quid down the drain.
01/08/25 out of the blue I received a phone call stating they are re applying for the court reduction. I am still a wee bit sceptical but fingers crossed this could be a turning point. Fingers crossed and thank you.

I had the privilege of working with Penny Mosley-Howells and Ryan Davies during my divorce proceedings, and I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, expertise, and unwavering support throughout the entire process. My divorce took almost 7 years to conclude which was so stressful. What stood out most was their genuine empathy and dedication to achieving the best possible result for me. They were always accessible, responsive, and transparent, making a challenging experience more manageable.
From our initial consultation, Penny demonstrated a deep understanding of family law and took the time to explain every step of the legal process in a clear and compassionate manner. Their meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach ensured that my interests were always prioritised.
Their collaborative efforts culminated in a favourable outcome, securing a fair financial settlement and a clean break, which has provided me with the stability and peace of mind I desperately needed.
I was extremely pleased that the judge upheld our proposal as being the appropriate settlement to the letter. I wholeheartedly recommend Endeavour Law to anyone seeking expert legal representation in family law matters. Their commitment to their clients is truly commendable.

I am beyond frustrated and deeply disappointed with the service from ENDEAVOR LAW, 18-21 Old Field Rd, Pencoed, Bridgend CF35 5LJ. I hired them for my divorce case in April 2024, and they promised to finalize it within 6 to 10 months since it was a clean break. Over a year has passed, and they have utterly failed to meet this timeline.
The communication has been absolutely horrendous. I'm constantly left waiting for responses, and when I do manage to reach someone, like Tyra or Dequalin at the front desk, I'm met with empty promises that they will contact the legal team and get back to me. I’ve wasted countless minutes waiting on hold—at least 15 minutes just to get someone to answer the phone!
This level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this law firm for ANY legal work at all. It's downright ridiculous!

I have used quickie divorce before and found them to be very efficient , kept me up to date all the way I didn’t have to chase or find out anything myself , I paid for top service and sat back and let them do it all and I was satisfied with the price and the result.

This is not a good service, they do very little other than serve your papers and encourage you to get a clean break order in place -hoping you will spend more money. In my particular circumstances I have missed a court attendance as they failed to let me know it was happening and required my attendance. I would look elsewhere or go on the HMRC site and do it yourself - I wish I had known you could do this before engaging them. Hindsight.

I used a company called quickie divorce and paid £699 on the 11th February. I was told this would be the total price for a Divorce and Clean Break including a designated Solicitor. I was allocated as my solicitor Endeavour Law.
Before paying the £699 to Quickie Divorce over the telephone I checked that they did not need an address for my Husband as he is currently not in the UK and I do not have an address for him only an email address. They assured me all that was needed was an email address, so on this premis I paid the £699 fee. I also told them there is no Postal address for him as he is in Africa.
All you get for this money is a form filled in which is the information I gave over the telephone, a watts app service which is useless to be able to talk to Endeavour Law, its basically a Robot and you get nowhere. They have not proceeded at all with my divorce at all stating they are waiting for an address for my husband and are now requesting more money for an international tracing fee which I have explained is not possible when he is in africa!
I contacted my credit card company and requested the phone transcripts which they have refused to provide to my credit card company. They refused as they know they have taken my money wrongly! I would NOT of handed over my money had they told me on the telephone that they needed an address and that additional costs may be incurred, they never asked me to check any terms and conditions of what I had agreed to, I have received nothing from this company. They NEVER call you back when you do manage to get through to them. I asked for a refund and they refused as they said they had processed documents when all I received was a short form giving my address details etc and my email , it also stated on there husbands address unknown! which is what I told them on the phone before I paid them! They should NEVER of took my money with all the information I gave them over the telephone as they knew they would not be able to help and saying all calls are recorded but refusing to give my Credit Card company or myself the transcripts says it all , it would prove they had taken my money wrongly! Avoid this company at all costs, the service they are saying they provide is NOT fit for purpose and I am going to report these two companies to the SRA and the Legal Ombudsman as they should not be acting on behalf of anyone!

12 months on I am no further on from filling in the original divorce forms which were to be submitted to the court. I was told the delays were due to the failure of the respondent to inform the court of receipt of papers. I therfore paid the fee for a baliff which Endeavour Law encouraged me to do. 4 weeks later, the situation had not changed. When I called I was told my bailiff fee had been refunded 24 hours later. I was not informed of this and trustingly hoped progress was being made. Having paid 3 sets of fees, I am no further on than I was 12 months ago. Very, very disappointed and frustrated as I have done everything asked of me to get nowhere. When I signed up, I was very clear that the respondent would probably be problematic but was assured that the company could deal with that. Just at least £1000 out of pocket and probably have to find another solicitor.
