Problems accessing the site
I've previously used it to buy and sell in the past and found the site extrememly easy to use.
I haven't used the site in the last couple of years but now I want to use it all I get is
Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Apache Server at ########### Port 80
Such a shame as I thought it was a great site.

Good, fast payments and quick response.. up until now
I have enjoyed my experience with Cryptomate up until now, but for some reason they don't want to accept any more of my orders when I try to buy crypto through them, and I get timed out after waiting for a vendor.
When I've tried reaching out to their support team I've not had any response on what is going on. It is shame because I would like to give this a review a five star, as they have been very good up until now - but lately my personal experience has slowly waned.
I hope you find some positivity in this review and definitely give them a try if, especially if your in the UK.

Avoid due to high fees.
Reasonably quick transfer of crypto to my wallet by the sender. However, their fees are extortionate... ~7% of the price I paid, went to cover fees. Avoid this merchant at all costs - go to Coinbase or some other place. 2 stars for the relatively quick transfer, but they took 7% of my cash.

All fees are incorporated into the price. You will receive exactly the amount you see on the order form. We sell at a variable percentage above market rate to cover our operating costs and to continue trading long term. This generally equates to between 3-5% but can differ during volatile markets.

After making an error in my wallet address I contacted Cryptomate who were able to sort out the problem within minutes. Al was online saved the day. First rate service.

Over the past few days I have accessed the web chat but no one there. I sent merssages with my email address...no one returned my query. I sent 3 separate queries and no answer...
I cannot find this company registered on the FCA website. I cannot see them temporarily registered until July 2021.
They lack transparency through lack of communication. I would advise to stay away from this company until you can confirm they will reply if you have problems. This is a basic requirement for trust when spending £££££

Cryptomate, lets see your ID,
I find that all these companies are information collectors, they are unregulated, and now ask you to make a selfie with a note in your handwriting next to it,
they ask for driving Licence , bank statement, utility bill,
now play kids games making selfie,
I think its a breach of security, no wonder, so many accounts are hacked, and ID copied, I say show you face cryptomate , let us see who were are dealing with !!! Show your face, should be both ways!!

Cryptomate is currently under license with the FCA and is heavily regulated hence such stringent acceptability. The information requested is in order to protect customers from such cases were ID's are copied and information stolen for financial gain.

Used Cryptomate for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised at how straightforward it was (even to a newbie like me!). I’ll definitely continue to use them to purchase crypto. They are especially good for purchasing crypto other places don’t trade yet.

Crypto mate fees are reasonable .
I look around for the best value in cryptocurrency when I buy from cryptomate the fees are reasonable . I have not yet had a problem with them.
