Carnext are selling cars they know that the mileage is incorrect.
Bought a car from Carnext MK in 2019, after a month, fault codes came up and also I noticed minor damage to the front number plate which was conveniently covered when I viewed the car. I decided to take to a main dealer for a check and possible warranty claim, they found this particular item, a radar situated behind the bumper and low down was damaged, they also identified many other issues with the car, I contacted Carnext who washed their hands of me. Do not believe the 112 point check they say they give the vehicles, apart from the damage on my car, my wiper blades had disintegrated within 1 month, wiper stalk was fouling the steering column and no history of a brake fluid change within the 4 years. They said they would service my car before I took delivery of it, I’m not sure what they did but had they serviced the car properly or if at all, it would not have any faults, or worn out wiper blades and the damage would have been identified. My suspicion is they knew of all the faults including the damaged front number plate and bumper and just shipped it out hoping for the best.
I was covered under the consumer rights act 2015 and no surprise, Carnext even ignored this. They were arrogant, ignorant and behaved like your typical low end kerbside motors. Long story short, I decided to contact Carnext owners Leaseplan who are a very reputable leasing company and have been for many years, they took on my complaint and sorted everything out. They took a year to do it but provided me with a vehicle whilst my car was at the dealer for all that time. It cost them over 3k, plus the hire vehicle they paid for.
Other issues not dealt with were a chipped windscreen, air con needed a regas when I got my car back after a year, they did not reimburse me for the new wiper blades i preciously paid for or the initial £60 I paid for a check at the dealers or the £285 I paid for my car insurance renewal in February 2020, they took my car in for repairs end of January 2020 and I did not expect it would take a year to authorise the repairs so paid for my insurance renewal. Downside was Leaseplan did mess the dealer around and continually stalled in authorising the repairs. I remonstrated with Leaseplan on these other out of pocket losses I incurred but didn’t have the energy at the time to vigorously pursue it. But just be careful out there, and pay for a vehicle check prior to purchase. It’s not always what it seems. Always remember you are protected by the 2015 consumer rights act.
Bought a car it came with dint in the door, they refused to put it right,told me to read the small print, ( your car may come with dints and scratches, I could have claimed on the return part of the contract but how looong would I have wait for my money back,

BT67AYK is currently for sale on their site showing 28340 miles, this car was for sale at BCA Auction in from Carnext and it was declared that the mileage is incorrect and suspected to be almost double the mileage as a cam blocker was fitted and they could not get £11000 for it, now they want just under £15000. No mention of the mileage being incorrect or the cam blocker being fitted. Trading standards have been informed.
Awful. Sold me a car that didn’t have everything it said it did on the online ad. No help at all once I realised this. When I went on to part exchange my car at the official Mercedes dealership they said the dealership that sold me this car did not prepare it to a high standard at all and it needed work on it. Would not recommend waste of money and very poor service.

I can’t stress enough to everyone not to buy a car from this place. I was sold a 66 plate golf gtd in June with no heating, obviously wouldn’t notice there was no heating until winter. They are not willing to fix this problem because I didn’t notify them in the 14 days return that they offer. Would think my year warranty would cover it? Apparently not. My matrix system is completely blocked and has contaminated the whole system meaning it needs a new water pump and cambelt aswel as a matrix which I’ve been quoted £2300 and they’re not willing to fix or swap my car. They have deliberately sold me a car with no heating in the summer! Knowing I wouldn’t notice until winter it’s disgusting. If this problem is not resolved soon I will be contacting trading standards

Nobody has reached out to discuss the issues outlined in the below review and over the course of a week nobody has been able to tell me if the required oil change is covered by warranty.
They simply do not return phone calls.

My car has been delivered to me with problems and I have already had to change the brake pads, discs and take it to the dealer to find any problems, there was a problem under the bonnet that has to be solved myself. I have had three courtesy cars already and my miles have gone up on the car too much!

No reply and no acknowledgment of complaint until I chased them up.
Now two weeks later we are still no closer to a resolution.
Also website now seems to only list 5 cars available for sale which is a little concerning.
I will update this review once my complaint has bee resolved.

Bought a car from here this week and they did a great job delivered it to the door. Customer service was good even had a problem with a scratch on the bonnet and they sent someone out to sort it. Coming the tomorrow. Was a bit worried when you could only pay by bank transfer but all absolutely fine nothing to worry about

The service works well for the sale. The 'virtual' viewing was conducted well, with the agent happy to point his camera at anything I asked about the car, including the paperwork and service record, until I was satisfied.
The delivery was delayed but this is because I bought an electric car and CarNext had not realised that it could not easily be driven 400 miles in one day. CarNext called me to rearrange the delivery date and, once they had arranged a delivery trailer, the car was delivered well the following week.
There were a couple of minor faults I missed: the radio aerial was missing (a replacement sourced on eBay for a few £); and one tyre has a very slow puncture; but nothing worth going back to CarNext about.
Overall, happy with the service, the range of vehicles and the price of the car.

I bought a car from the MK garage last week. Rob Munns was very professional and was kind enough to slot me in at the end of the day (I had been working near MK and live in Coventry).
Communication with Rob was easy, the longest I had too wait for a call back was around 10 minutes which I thought was great! The head office though.. Hard to get through too. But again once contacted emails were received with required information in around 15 minutes.
Overall good experience.
