Very Poor Product Support
I purchased a mailbox from Budget Mailboxes in February 2023. The mailbox arrived as expected and in perfect condition. After 16 months of use the magnet that holds the mailbox door closed shattered from repeated closures by the mail person. I reached out to customer service requesting replacement magnets and they quickly responded. However, the response was that they did not provide replacement magnets. This is totally unacceptable for a 16 month old mailbox that cost me $314. Their customer support was very good, but their product support is absolutely horrible. How can you charge that amount for a mailbox and not have totally product support? I now I have a $314 mailbox that is dysfunctional and I have to try to find a magnet to fix. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

I was on vacation when the order got to the warehouse and was ready for delivery. The staff didn't give up getting ahold of me and where very graceful in making the delivery arrangements once we connected.

When we opened it out of the box, I was surprised by how large the box is and was concerned it would look too big. That wasn't the case at all and it looks beautiful.
Missing hardware- beautiful mailbox
Love the look and quality of this mailbox. The mounting hardware for the address plaques were not in a sealed bag and some of the hardware was loose in the shipping box and some was missing. Missing hardware made assembly difficult.

Jumping through the refund approval hoops
Ordered and received product in July. It turned out, we didn't need it. We have never opened it. It's now September and we are still going through the extremely extensive process of trying to get a less than $15 refund for the unused product. It's as if the seller creates an intentional obstacle to avoid providing a refund to the customer. This type of customer service is almost unheard of in 2023. Company owners and management should "wake up" as this type of customer service and requiring customers to go through a refund approval process is not sustainable for a successful, forward-thinking company. I can only suspect that it's either a family business that was passed on to another generation of people with no business training or given the fact that they have a relatively captive customer base as they sell hard to find products, they are able to employ these types of business practices and remain in business. I'm not upset as it's not much money but I do feel compelled to give feedback to whoever reads these reviews at the company - you can do better. Pick up ANY business magazine or book at any airport bookstore and you will see how to do it right (or simply look at how any other business operates).
On a positive note, the guy on the phone was pleasant.

Everything was good except there was a mixup with delivery. I ordered a lift gate which the Fed Ex driver did NOT receive as we are a small retirement community without access to any type of equipment. We were able to use the manual one on the truck to delivery the 400lb shipment

Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience! From the information on the website to the customer service rep who was very friendly and answered all of my questions to the easy ordering process to delivery and easy install instructions (for those who have some level of handyman skills) - also a call prior to delivery to confirm details and a call after delivery to check on us - every step of the way I felt supported in being in charge of something new for our HOA. It is an experience rare from a large company today. I really appreciated it so much. Thanks to everyone at Budget Mailboxes!!
