About AQ Online

 AQ online stands for Afro Quarter Online. We are a black-owned company based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. We always had a deep passion for textured kinky hair and a drive to try a range of different products.

After numerous unpleasant experiences both in-store and online. We decided to make a change and create a space for people of colour. 

This change was particularly important to us because we wanted to see more people who looked like us sell our products with the right information and knowledge and expertise. 

That is why AQ Online was built on the quote "Be the change you want to see"

Our aim 

 We aim to contribute positively to our community by being a leading black-owned retailer. The black lives matter movement is at the core of what we do and we aim to provide transparency and safe products at your doorstep.

Excellent products and customer service!

Impressive company and customer service! Victoria is a real gem, very professional. I have been buying my hair supplies from AQ Online since 2020, and generally "bulk buy". The sales are fantastic too, and I usually stock up on my favs incl Natures Little Secret, Oyin, EcoSlay Banana conditioner, Curlsmith or try new products such as Alikay, Uniqurl. Always impressed by the range of products from the US, and how swiftly orders are turned around. Items are beautifully wrapped and delivery is swift. So glad I found AQ Online, it is my go-to store for hair supplies, 10/10, A+++.

Wouldn’t recommend from this seller

Unsure if the product was stored incorrectly or it was expired but texture/consistency of the gel was off. I am familiar with how it should be as I’ve been buying it for years but for £45 I expect it to work. I even bought another bottle from a different store afterwards as it didn’t work very well. The new bottle from a different store was the correct consistency and worked well in my hair as expected.
