Complete Scam (You will NOT be paid)

After earning $100 I selected the payout feature and submitted all required documents. The payout showed as "processed" in the bank section, yet I was never payed. I sent several emails and opened multiple support tickets and never, not once, did I receive a reply back from support. This company is a complete scam preying on small artists. DO NOT distribute your music through them, they will steal your money.

I uploaded songs on Anti-joy

I uploaded songs on Anti-joy, the did not approve the songs and kept my cash. Then they claimed they kept it because I had artificial streaming on my account, how can I have artificial streams and I do not have any songs streaming yet. It’s nonsense and when that didn’t work they claimed my song was all ai. There language says mostly generated, it doesn’t say no ai, so if you did the writing and used ai for the music or vice versa they keep your money. It’s vague which generates income without providing a service. I am going to see if there is recourse through the Texas cybercrime department. Don’t use them run far away.

Hello there.

We have not claimed this was due to artificial streaming. That is an automated email that include some common reasons for suspension/rejection.

For rejections, the actual reason is generally shown on the release page in your dashboard.

For suspensions, you have to reach out to support to know what exactly issued the suspension.

We clearly state that AI generated music is not allowed (a checkbox stating the content is not fully or mostly AI generated MUST be checked during upload).

We have not claimed it is "all AI." We have simply stated the content must not be fully or mostly AI generated, which our team have deemed that it is. It is also possible to appeal the decision by providing proof that it is not AI generated. Although, it rarely happens because AI-generated music is pretty easy to detect.

Questionable experience with this company

One of the few positives is the fast upload speed. The website’s functionality is quite limited — you can’t even share a link to your account for proper music delivery to DSPs. Support responds sporadically: sometimes within 1–2 days, other times you wait up to two weeks.

My main disappointment is that they didn’t pay out royalties for the music I uploaded through them. Or more accurately, they paid out around $70, which is outrageously low considering the streaming volume (based on my calculations, around $800).

Tech support ignored my requests to clarify the royalty reports and basically said they “paid everything the stores reported,” which is simply not true.

In the end, I withdrew the $70 (which they processed within a month), deleted my music, and decided not to continue working with them.

Everything worked

Everything was smooth, the AI bot helped answer most of our queries which helped make the whole process faster, compared to mailing the support team, which was a bit slow. Everything else worked like it was supposed to and i haven't really been using Anti-Joy to be able to comment on anything else

Absolute clowns. Avoid.

I released a song last summer, no hitches. I upload a new release and within a couple of hours I have an email saying my release is rejected with no explanation and my account is suspended! No explanation for anything, and no response to emails querying what has gone on.

Save yourself the hassle, and use another company.

Please AVOID AT ALL COST.

Please AVOID AT ALL COST.

One of my song magically disappeared and I didn't even realize until months later (I don't check my streams at all). I thought i missed out on the submission so I resubmitted, and then they just wiped everything out. No emails, no nothing.

I'm only getting 50 streams a day. LMAO girl.

THEY ARE A SCAM. Please do not submit with Anti Joy!

A Legal Scam

A terrible experience, starting with the publication on the platforms. Endless time, about a month for publication, assistance that doesn't exist but then...then comes the absurdity. The first report comes in about 6 months later, and okay, I don't want to argue about that, I load the documents, make the withdrawal request, and surprise? royalties never arrived. I spent from November to February asking where they went, guess what? No response, also? They turn out withdrawn, but no one knows where they went, these people have my documents in their hands, and they don't tell you what they're going to do with them, run away

worst paid music distribution service in the game

They wont let me release a 2 year old EP just because I dont have proof of owning the beats (they re not stolen, they re collabs with other producers that im not in touch with anymore) even tho the EP is posted on YT & SC without any copyright claims. STAY AWAY, distrokid is waaay better at this customer service thing.

Account suspended for no reason.

I left this company from Soundrop, and let me tell you. they are actually worse.

I reviewed this company 5 stars when I joined however I take that back strongly.

Firstly the website. it is terrible, often crashes and releases will fail to submit, and there is no drafting option leaving you loosing your entire submission.

Almost every release you upload will be declined and rarely accepted. it usually is always them accusing you of using copyrighted content or samples when that is not the case. I would always need to contact them and wait days for a response for my release to go live, by that time the release is no longer editable and you need to make a new one.

I took an entire year break from music due to my mental health.

I thought i would start new year getting back into what I love and releasing more music.

Woke up this morning to an email stating both my releases had'nt been accepted and that my account had been SUSPENDED! Apparently there is a limit to how many of your releases get declined!

I have only made £8 in the entire 2 years, so I obviously havent used false streams, all my content / covers are true re-makes and do not contain any samples. - so why? suspended for no reason!

Do not use this barely functional company unless you want to make your hobby a total headache and stressful experience.

You also get what you pay for - so god I wish i did go with distrokid when I first started!

Antijoy is Scam

They first removed my version without any copyright claims, then kept these versions in stores where you are unlikely to see them for months, such as Yandex Music, and did not provide any income reports, then there was a $1000 report reflected in my account, when I tried to withdraw this money, this time they reduced my account balance to -$1300. Definitely the last place you want to work, stay away. Jonas is a big scammer.
