The worst experience ever

On October 24, 2023, I hired and paid for the services of AMZ Transit, and it was the worst decision I have made in my business.

The hiring process and pre-contract follow-up with them were perfect. They responded quickly to emails, the documents they sent were well-written, and nothing hinted at what would happen next.

Once I made the payment, everything changed.

Caroline and Don were the agents from AMZ Transit who were supposedly in charge of organizing the transportation of the goods I had to send from China to Europe.

For an entire week after making the payment, I didn't receive any response from them.

The cargo that this company was supposed to transport was ready on November 8.

After countless emails to Caroline and Don asking for explanations as to why no one was picking up the cargo, their responses were always the same: "the transport will be tomorrow." This never happened, and they eventually stopped responding to me.

At this point, I searched for all the emails I could find from AMZ Transit online and sent emails to all of them trying to get an explanation of what was happening. It wasn't until December 1st that I received a call from Mr. Miller. This gentleman informed me that no one had arranged the transportation of my goods and that if I wanted, they could refund me the money. Faced with the prospect of losing the money I had paid them, I even felt relieved.

Even with the refund of the money I paid for the transportation they never carried out, the damage this company has caused me is enormous.

I had to hire another forwarder over a month after the goods were ready. Obviously, being close to Christmas, this transportation was more expensive. Furthermore, the breach of contract by AMZ Transit meant that my products did not arrive on time for the Christmas campaign, causing me to lose the peak income period of the year for my company. Additionally, the new ship had to take the route around Africa instead of going through the Suez Canal. In conclusion, the 35-day transport that was supposed to arrive on December 15 will arrive on February 10.

As advice, if you want peace of mind and security for your international shipments, stay away from AMZ Transit.
