We lost our holiday due to them going into liquidation. Filled all of the forms in to request a refund through the liquidators only to be now told months and months later they are not refunding and I need to apply through my bank. Totally been led down the garden path.

Avoid at all costs! We booked our holiday to Tenerife through Teletext who in turn booked our room through Alpharooms. Arrived here on Sunday. Yesterday (Wednesday) there was a note under our door asking us go reception. We were told Alpharooms had not paid the hotel for our room and we would have to pay them £600 to be able to stay! We had no option but to pay again.
I made a phone call to Teletext who went away to investigate. They apologised and said they had issued a refund for the £600 which would hit our account in 3 to 5 days. Let's hope it does.

Still waiting for my refund, don't think I will ever get it returned as I'm sure they will go into liquidation soon.
Don't use this company

We arrived at our hotel in Turkey and checked in ok.
Two days later the hotel said we would have to vacate or pay again as Alpha rooms had not paid them although they’d taken our money 5 weeks previously. We weren’t the only family in this predicament as there was two other families in the same position.
Apparently there was 8 hotels nearby where the same was happening with guests.
We had know choice but to pay in full to the hotel hoping we will get it refunded in time by our holiday insurance or Atol.
Your a disgrace Alpha holidays/rooms

DO NOT USE THIE COMPANY. Total scammers. I paid in full for a double room in Cyprus. On my arrival the room had been cancelled the day before because Alpharooms did not pay there sister provider Hotelbeds.com. In turn they could not pay the hotel. Alpharooms do not respond to emails or phone calls. They are a bunch of scammers. Worse of all i cannot beleive the people whom work for them ie people in customer services receiving emails and just ignoring them, knowing full well Alpharooms are taking peoples hard earned money and basically shafting them. These people have absolutely NO CONCIOUNCE...PSYCHOPATHS if you ask me. I was a single female left absolutely stranded with nowhere to stay. The emergency number on my hotel voucher was non existant. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL COMPANY. BE WARE, BE VERY VERY AWARE.

After having our hotel booking cancelled earlier this year, phoned for refund,no chance.Told we could rebook any where in world for the same amount.Chose a hotel in UK that we arrived at yesterday,only to find ALPHAROOMS had cancelled it two days before without notifying us. Hotel receptionist contacting them as well as myself only to be constantly put on hold and then told we would get a refund and after endless arguing hung up on us.Hotel was full so ended up travelling back home.From reviews no hope of getting money back.

Absolute scamming scumbags off a company. Don’t ever buy a holiday from these again. They will leave you high and dry. Happy enough to take your money off you. But won’t refund it back waiting nearly 18 months for my refund and nothing in my account. Really hope they go into liquidation for Everyone sake at this stage. So they can’t scam anyone else

Why is nobody in authority shutting these sharks down. They continue to take bookings knowing full well that they will not honour the booking. They’ve been doing this for the last two years and can somehow continue to do so.

A complete scam. Never book your holiday with this company. Waiting 18 months for a refund. My sister booked the same holiday with Loveholidays and got a refund 6 weeks later. They do not reply to emails. When I phoned them (yet again) they say you have to wait. There is NO LOGICAL REASON for such a long delay. Debra says she can not transfer my call to a manager and she can not promise that a manager will call me. She cannot transfer the call to the finance team, she cannot provide me with a direct line to the finance team. This is outrageous. There is no customer service, this company should not be trading. It is becoming clear that they do not have any plans to refund money to me or the 1000s of other people that they have scammed. DO NOT BOOK WITH ALPHAROOMS, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I am amazed how they are still being allowed to get away with the deliberate retention of other peoples monies. I am equally amazed that in an effort to maintain some form of credibility they are placing positive fake reviews on the other Trustpilot review page. They owe me money, along with thousands of other people and yet are doing absolutely nothing to repay us, except to feed us blatant lies. ALPHAROOMS ARE A SCAM - DO NOT USE!

Told 2 months ago my refund was on the way.....still waiting. They have kept my money for nearly 2 years. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Same as everyone else we should of had our holiday in may 2020 and we are still waiting for our refund we paid in full and 1200 is know joke. It was hard earned money that we worked for absolutely disgusting that this company treat people 😡

This is by far, the WORST company i have ever had to deal with. i never make complaints and always provide benefit of the doubt however, I have now been waiting for a small refund (£185) since May 2020, its now Sept 2021. No one responds to your emails, your calls. how on earth are you supposed to get anywhere when there is just no where to go! Appalling company, No company ethics, no standards. It hurts to provide even 1 star to say the least. Since May 2020 i have cancer and honestly i suspect i will be dead and buried before I receive a refund or even a communication. honestly, if i worked for this brand i would be ashamed.

Do not use this company!!! I’ve now sent over 40 messages on Facebook to try get my refund that I’m owed since 2020- I’ve had no response. I’ve sent daily emails to multiple different addresses and no response. Please please do not give this company your money.

Dont use thay are thieves I been waiting 10 months for refund got given a date for it but that's gone and still no refund this company is a absolute joke DON'T USE.

Been using alpharooms for over ten years spending thousands,will not be using again, waiting nearly a year for refund, shocking not good enough

I booked a fully refundable hotel. I used the part payment plan (thank goodness for small mercies that I hadn't paid every instalment).

My holiday was cancelled due to Covid. Every other provider refunded the bookings I had made as I had booked everything with free cancellation.

Except Alpharooms.

They will only give a credit note less an administration fee of £150 plus the supplier's fee. In my case that almost wiped out the monies paid.

It also states in their terms and conditions that the type of room I've booked is fully refundable, so the T an Cs directly contradict each other and there is NOTHING stated in their terms of conditions that a credit note will be issued instead of a refund.

I will be contacting my credit card provider and asking them to do a charge back.

I would suggest if you are looking to book a worry free cancellation option in these uncertain times that you avoid Alpha Rooms at all costs.
