They were excellent until they weren’t

They were excellent until they weren’t. It was more convenient for me to go through them than my pcp for follow up diabetes care. I have been on Mounjaro for going on 4 years. I’ve gotten a 90 day script in the past and specifically asked this month for them to renew the 90 day as I pay the same copay for a 90 day as I do a 30 day. From August until October it has been a tirade of messages. Lab work must be done through my local hospital due to there not being one of their labs near me. I had to remind them of this a few times and they still continue to send my lab request to the wrong place. I asked specific questions a month ago and was not told until a month and a half later that they no longer do 90 day scripts. Which is fine, I understand that, but I asked months ago. It seems the last 6 months every interaction turns into a 2 week ordeal. It was never like that in the beginning. I will say when I called in they were very helpful and did give me a refund for my last month. I would say if you have patience they are ok.

STAY AWAY

I needed a simple prior auth sent and have been going back and forth with Alpha support for over a month! They sent the prior authorization over 2 different times with incorrect information. The only way to communicate with them is through their messaging system and they take 3 days to respond, more often than not it is an automated response that does not address the message you sent. I asked for a copy of the information they sent or a copy of the prior auth they sent and they say “they don’t keep that as part of my records” HOW CAN THAT BE? HIPAA states that all PHI used to determine my care should be part of my medical records and I should have access to it! I would stay away from this company!


Edit: As per Alpha’s response I have reached out again via their messenger service and yet again it has been over 8 days with no response! I stick by my post!! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!!
