Low-quality and super-unreliable
Ordered three boxes, and there was an issue with each and every one of them.
A selection:
- cheese with animal rennet can be found in veggie boxes, and they see this as perfectly normal
- letting me know two hours before delivery time that they are "out of" a main ingredient in a recipe, and substituting it for something else without asking me for opinion/feedback
- letting me know half an hour *after* the expected delivery that they won't be coming that day
Recipes are also really low quality, the "throw the chopped ingredients into a pot with a bouillon cube" style.
Ingredients sourced are from all over the world, and still they try to proudly claim CO2 neutral title.
There is no way to self-delete the personal information (I'm mostly concerned about the payment details, which you can change, but not remove).
Customer service is hard to reach (no email or contact form, and you have to click through robo-replies to even get to any option of direct contact), and once you do - picked chat myself - it gets all buggy on you: I got a popup with the rest of the site greyed-out saying "something is wrong" with the chat; I could see the support person typing in the background, but couldn't reply to it nor remove the popup, and after the refresh the process started from zero, with no one picking up the chat request. The other two options for direct contact after the robo-clicking were Facebook (which I don't have), and calling (I don't speak the language well enough to handle this in any way but writing).
They still have my banking and personal information, and I don't know of any way to successfully reach them to ask for the removal.
