When we first began our search for bedroom reproduction furniture we visited the showroom of one of AKD’s competitors and unfortunately their range, although beautiful, didn’t come in the dimensions that we were looking for. In contrast, AKD could source their on-line brochure items in our modified dimensions for only a modest increase in price, using their ‘Bespoke’ service.

AKD were very helpful with advice and wood samples, plus, very clear on the timescales for manufacture in their Asia factory to shipping to the UK and we were quite happy with the wait-time which we thought was totally reasonable.

Communication and updates during our wait for delivery were very useful and essentially the furniture was ready for delivery on the dates they had forecast when we placed the order.

With delivery, their partner (Pinnacle Storage Solutions) was excellent, with real-time tracking and very polite and the professional delivery staff – altogether so much better than some other delivery companies!

Upon receipt, we found our furniture to be comprehensively wrapped and once unpacked we were hugely impressed with the quality and weight of the items as well as the skill of the craftsmen in incorporating our measurements whilst still maintaining the beautiful proportions and appearance of the standard design.

Would we use AKD again? Yes, definitely.

We were looking for a toilet roll holder to match our new '1920's look' ensuite bathroom and found the ideal product on tapnshower's website. Information and images were clear and the price was competitive. We ordered the 'Bristan Wall Mounted Double Toilet Roll Holder' resulting in us receiving a couple of confirmation emails, followed by a very clear email providing shipping details. Following this the product arrived quickly within a couple of days. We will definitely consider using tapnshower again.

Straightforward website and good prices, plus availability of rare titles. Also, free shipping offered a competitive edge. Furthermore, updates after purchasing and prior to shipping were appreciated.

Good website and price, straightforward ordering, fast dispatch and equally fast delivery with tracking provided by Royal Mail. Free shipping on orders over £20 is a winner.

Jason and the team at National Tyres Grimsby were excellent from start to finish. The price of the tyres and 4 wheel alignment for our BMW was very competitive with the work completed to a high standard and clearly explained to us before we left the site. It was our first time using National Tyres and we will definitely be using the Grimsby team again.
