Ich suchte eine e-sim mit kanadischer Telefonnummer, also nicht nur Datenpaket, für Kanada bzw. Nova Scotia. Dafür wurde ich nur bei Canadian Sim fündig, zumindest zu dem Preis (39 Can Dollar). Die Zusendung und Installation haben problemlos funktioniert. In Nova Scotia hatte ich allerdings nur während drei Vierteln der Reise Internetempfang, und zwar in der Hauptstadt Halifax (wo man sowieso WLAN hat), und im Küstenbereich, und auch dort nicht überall. Das Telefonieren klappte meistens. Spam-Anrufe, von denen andere Nutzer berichten, hatte ich höchstens zwei Mal, ich bin gar nicht drangegangen. Fazit: Fürs Telefonieren war die e-sim OK, für Nutzung mobiler Daten weitgehend unbrauchbar bzw. überflüssig. Wie gesagt, die Bewertung bezieht sich nur auf Nova Scotia.

I've let slip the remote control of my Leema amplifier so it hit the ground and was non-functional afterwards. After unsuccessfully trying to contact Leema I fortunately found this company (VAT) on the web. They were really helpful in solving my particular problem, which involved some e-mail traffic and even sending in my broken gadget without additional charge. It took a while until I finally got my functioning universal remote control, but the important thing was the clear communication and successful solution.
