We apologize for the issue with Google Pay transactions. Unfortunately, we have had to temporarily restrict Google transactions on the Akimbo Card. We experienced a dramatic increase in fraudulent Google Play transactions because Google was permitting transactions without proper security validations. They are aware of the issue and are actively working to resolve it. We can let you know when we remove these restrictions. Alternatively, if you would prefer to receive a physical check for the amount on your card, we can send that to you.

Again, we certainly apologize for the inconvenience, but needed to take these steps to protect our cardholders.
