Bad service all around

Bad service all around! Ordered a Sofa from the website, the next day (within 24 hours) they had a sale on.

I requested if I could cancel and re-order or if they'd be happy to apply the discount to my order.

They declined - I appreciate I purchased day before, but at the same time it is a lot of money and would have been good service to offer to apply the discount as it was less than 24 hours.

Won't be ordering from here again, nor will I recommend anyone to order from here.

Bad Service

They sent two separate booking invites, causing confusion. On the day, they were being incredibly rude and not helpful at all.

Followed up with a complaint email the day after, no one ever got back to me to apologise or anything.

Never going back here, nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone. Wasted over £100 for a booking we didn't even get to attend.

Awful bank!

Awful bank!

Used to be a client for years, then I went and closed the account for various reasons (aka there were better options out there with better rates). Tried reapplying and got denied? How can I get denied when I had one for years before that?! I’m in a better financial position than before. They also refuse to give you the reason for denial, thanks monzo! So you could be flat out discriminating against me and I wouldn’t even know

Every time you email them, they ask for a picture with your Id for EACH EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE. Tedious, and their emoji use in their emails is highly unprofessional

It is ridiculously bad. I’ve probably dodged a bullet here. Taking my savings and business elsewhere. It’s 2023, lots of great online banking options available, I simply went to monzo as I used to be a client before

Bad service.

One of their sellers didn't deliver. DPD apparently stated it had been delivered.

Lost out on about £100. Don't buy technology on amazon - just go to the shop. Not worth dealing with shady sellers and bad amazon customer service.

Worst bank ever.

Worst bank ever.

They request ID proof via email (highly unsafe). They don't tell you what they do with your information. They refuse you an account and don't give you a reason (could be discrimination?).

If you're incapable of running a fully online bank, then give it up and open branches. Instead they hide behind their customer service emails.

Monzo - do better.

How are they allowed to operate?

Absolutely horrendous!

- They did not close my account when requested
- They claimed what I said on the phone was incorrect but refused to provide transcripts
- I had to go through CISAS to get my account closed
- They gave me a refund and then a few weeks later a letter charging me again?!
- Every time I spoke to someone on chat (refusing to use phone as they deny everything) I was told something different. If I could upload screenshots, I would!
- They directly contradict each other
- They overcharged me, acted rude and made me chase 6+ months for what should have been a SIMPLE DISCONNECT
- The second they did disconnect, they started hounding me to return the box and threatening with charges (while they hadn't even processed my refund yet)

Worst mistake of my life. Never ever sign up with Virgin or any of their products/services. Genuinely was 30 seconds away from suing them considering all the screenshots / evidence I have. I don't know how they are allowed to operate?

UPDATE: thanks Megan. I got a letter from the bailiffs in my mailbox this morning. Requesting I pay a bill, while virgin media is the one who owes me money. Is this a complete joke to virgin media? Or are you guys just that incompetent? Reopening the case with cisas, sending the bailiffs all my evidence and screenshots (including the one where virgin media confirms no money is due and I’m owed money) and officially taking legal action. Good luck to you guys in court!

I am sorry for the trouble you've been having whilst trying to cancel. I am afraid the only team that can process cancellations are the retentions team, who can be contacted on 0345 454 1111, option 1, 4 then 4 again. The best time to call and avoid the call queue is 8am in the morning.
