Four week delay with no warning

I put in a large order for a bathroom for my 92 year old mother on 17th October. All items were in stock but they did not arrive until 12th November - 25 days. No warning on the website about delays so the choice to buy elsewhere wasn't an option. The invoice said to expect delivery in 2-7 days. No reply to several emails from their "help desk". After 14 days Live Chat admitted to warehouse problems and made our order a priority but it still took another two weeks. In the meantime my poor mum couldn't have a proper wash for over a month. Not acceptable VP! I have another bathroom to refurbish in December and it would be nice if VP offered a discount to apologise for their dreadful customer service. I have no gripe with the quality of the products and VP have been very prompt in the past but my latest experience has been ignored by the company hence the one-star review.

Corner Pedestal Desk

Bought a large corner desk in French white with green leatherette top - looks absolutely stunning. It took over 6months from ordering to delivery but we were expecting that and it has been well worth the wait. Isobel kept us informed of progress and we are so happy with our purchase. I would certainly recommend AKD to anyone wanting a quality piece of furniture. Excellent company.

Excellent Customer Services

We've bought half a dozen blinds from 247Blinds.Some are vertical blinds and some are roller blinds. The quality is really nice and they are very good value. We did have a problem with one roller blind as it wouldn't fit in the recess. Jess in Customer Services was brilliant and sorted out a new blind for us and we are happy as Larry. I don't think you can beat 247Blinds for good value and it's nice to know that the Customer Services are excellent as well. Many thanks

Review of Start Rescue

Very pleased to have Start Rescue - a lifesaver!

I've had 3* rescue insurance with Start for several years without claiming. However, I needed them on two occasions within a month last year. The first breakdown occurred just half a mile from home, and the second was when the car wouldn't start on the driveway. On the first occasion (early Sunday morning) someone came out within 90 minutes and towed me back home. On the second occasion, the rescue van was with me in about 30 minutes and got the car started again. The experience was trouble free - easy to get through on the telephone, and no quibbles. Very good value - especially when you need them! The whole family uses Start Rescue now - cheaper than the policies bundled with car insurance, and much cheaper than the AA or RAC.

Old memories restored! Happy Days!

I'd found some old 8mm video cassettes that my late father had made on a camcorder. Unfortunately, the camcorder didn't work anymore and was now obsolete. Found EachMoment on the internet and chose them because they picked up my memory box from the house (saved me a trip to the Post Office which I wanted to avoid due to Covid), and then returned it three weeks later. The whole process was very easy. They send a big box to you in the post. You fill it with tapes, slides or whatever ancient medium you may have and label the items. I originally paid for six tapes but found some more VHS videos, audio cassettes and camcorder tapes and added them to the box. I attached the labels supplied - additional items had labels with £12 on them. I paid for the extra items after I had received all the tapes back. I also had a quick response to an email I sent so customer service was up to scratch. It was lovely being able to show these old videos to my old ma who was delighted to see them again. There was also a bit of disappointment as I had partially recorded over a video of my baby daughter from 30 years ago and had an episode of Colombo on it! That was my fault though. All in all, I was very pleased with the door to door service, clear instructions and value. These memories are priceless and I have recommended EachMoment to a few friends.
