The trolley was just as described, excellent value for money and promptly delivered (Useful as it was a birthday present for a keen gardener!). Just the kind of experience that os welcome especially when buying online.

Appalling service - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

The only reason I put 1 star is that Trustpilot doesn't allow you to score lower. I bought a kitchen tap from Debenhams (£35) which was too tall for the space available. I informed them the day after it was delivered and requested a return/refund. The tap was collected and the Debenhams partner who was selling via their website arranged for it to be picked up 2 days later. All went well until I started asking about my refund. Then I was told that as I had paid by Visa, the refund would not be credited until 19 days after the seller confirmed receipt of the return. Why 19 days when they take the money immediately? You tell me because I can't get an answer from them. Seems almost like they were holding onto your money for an unreasonably long time...scam??? Finally, the refund arrives - not for £35 but for £28.01. They have shaved 20% off the refund. I received a screenshot from the seller which shows they authorised a £35 refund so it must be Debenhams who have taken the rest. I tried contacting them - via Messenger - and got a message that one of their agents would be with me soon. I gave up after more than an hour but not before I took a screenshot of the 'conversation'. I will take this further. Do NOT use this seller. Debenhams used to be a good, reliable store. DO NOT trust this new incarnation .

When a return is made, we ask that customers allow up to 14 days for a returned parcel to arrive at our warehouse, undergo inspection, and be processed by the returns team. Following this, it can then take an additional 5-10 working days for the refund to be fully processed by your payment provider. Although refunds are usually received well within this timeframe, this means the return process can take up to 28 days.

In regards to your refund, the price difference may be due to the delivery and return charges which are non-refundable. While we do use AI to route our queries to the next advisor and to answer some very basic queries, you are always able to speak to a human if you request it as it's been set up to understand that request. Please request to speak with an agent and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

What an excellent team!

What an excellent team to deal with. We are in the middle of a kitchen refit and needed almost 500 quarry tiles to redo the floor. We contacted Tile Direct and, despite having a little issue trying to pay online (Our bank was acting VERY weird) Debs took us through the process quickly and with great patience. The tiles arrived the next day. SO impressed - as were our workmen who took Tile Directs details from us. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Their delivery dates mean diddly-squat.

I don't know where all these excellent delivery reviews are coming from. Just spent £700 on a cooker which I was told would be delivered on the 20th. Next day I get an e-mail from their delivery agents telling me it would be delivered on 24th! I questioned the discrepancy and was told, in an email, 'We are the company that delivers in Scotland. Robert Dyas cannot allocate dates for us' Have, perforce, accepted this change. Tried to contact Robert Dyas to ask what the point of them giving me a delivery date was but came up against their virtual assistant. Went through the process describing what had happened and got a response that I would be transferred to one of their staff. 2 seconds later got a reply that all staff were busy - please try later. Not what I would call good customer service and still no wiser why they would give a date that their delivery people say they are not entitled to do.

I was looking for a DVD set of a TV…

I was looking for a DVD set of a TV series for my mother-in-law who is confined to the house during the pandemic. Easy to find and a great price. The DVDs arrived ahead of the expected time, were in great condition and are currently being enjoyed. I will certainly use Music Magpie again.

I have no hesitation in recommending Toolden based on my experience with them. Not only was the item less expensive than I could find on other sites, it was delivered earlier than expected. The packaging was great and the goods were just as advertised. I received good communication throughout and will certainly use them again.

Despite other comments I have seen on…

Despite other comments I have seen on social media I received excellent service. Plenty of e-mail communication, a tracking service which showed how many stops the driver was away and where he was on the map. When he arrived he was very friendly and observed all the social distancing requirements without any prompting.
