Clean beauty at its best!

Glad I made my own decision and didn't get put off by the reviews. I am SO happy to have found Merit so had to give them a review myself. The hero products for me are the 'The minimalist' foundation stick and the 'Clean lash' mascara. The foundation covers what it needs to, doesn't break me out (I'm acne prone around the chin) and looks weightless on the skin. My only complaint is that it was about half the size of what I was expecting for the price (hence the 4 stars). The mascara is great and doesn't smudge/leave specks like so many do, it also washes off so easily with normal cleanser. It's also vegan and cruelty free which I love!! As a clean beauty girl, this is a great brand for me albeit a little on the pricey side...

Really confused by the five star…

Really confused by the five star reviews which are saying the product is poor but giving 5 stars for the customer service. These pans are completely unusable as food sticks so badly. I agree customer service is good as they sent us a replacement but the replacement has the same issue and is unusable. I wouldn’t recommend this brand at all.

BIG fan of ClassPass and have been a loyal customer for years! I am based in London which has a great selection of studios near my home and work. Only slight downside is that the amount of studios and wellness spaces can be quite overwhelming but it doesn't impact my experience too much.

Great product for ball obsessed dogs

Great product! Our Rottweiler is notorious for popping balls so he can can carry them around and then is surprised that we can’t then throw/kick them for him… this product has solved that. We bought it in January and it is still going strong in April (which is good going when you have a big dog!) Really happy with this ball. You have solved a great problem of ours!

We have been using Ocado for the last 3 months. We started with the fantastic intro offer and decided to stay on as a customer without the discounts. I sent my Saint Laurent sunglasses to be fixed as one of the arms had come off. I was contemplating getting new sunglasses when I came across Peep Eyewear and I'm so glad I did! The process was speedy and efficient and my favourite sunglasses are back in action. Thank you!

My review after 4 months

My review after 4 months - I continued for an additional month after the 3 month trial ended to see if these would work. Unfortunately they did not work for me. I have now been off them for a couple of weeks and have noticed no change in my skin (e.g. getting worse) so can conclude that these tablets had very little, if any, effect on me.

One star as it did arrive, albeit after 2 weeks. I bought a children's digital camera and the quality is really poor. I have tried to initiate a return but the returns address is in Austria and you have to pay for the postage! I thought this was a UK company. I would avoid this website!!!

The vegan protein powder was a five star product for me but I have struggled to finish my latest bag. The new formula has a weird chemical after taste which I find quite off putting. It’s a shame as I really liked it!

Nice smelling product but clunky website

4 stars as this product looks great and smells great. However, the website and buying process is not user-friendly. It's hard to navigate as the page just takes you to the starter kit and there is no option to navigate to the rest of the shop. Also, the discounted items rely on you also getting a new bottle and cloth which defeats sustainability angle - we now have spare bottles and don't need anymore!

My honest review of Pore Favor 3 months in

My honest review of Pore Favor now that I am three months into taking it: I have taken two Pore Favor tablets every day, following all guidance carefully. I have noticed a reduction in my hormonal acne; however, I have also increased my tretinoin dose during this time. I still have active breakouts on my chin area and have resorted to going back to benzoyl peroxide (sigh), so I have started alternating between tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide every other night. I am choosing not to take advantage of the Pore Favor money-back guarantee, as I’d like to give it another month or so to fully work, given the positive reviews. If anything changes, I will write another review, but as it stands, this product has not been the ‘miracle cure’ I have been looking for. Skincare still seems to be working best for me as someone who has hormonal chin break outs.

Sharing my honest review

Sharing my honest review as I struggled with finding one when I booked my sessions with Naama. Firstly, this is a really expensive way to get your tattoos removed. I am currently £1600 down (after 8 sessions) and my tattoos have faded but they are very much still there. On the other hand, my partner has been going to a tattoo studio that also does removal and his has almost gone £400 and the same amount of sessions later. The major pull for me going to Naama was that you could have sessions closer together (every 6 weeks as opposed to my partner's 3 months) however, as I have progressed through the process we have started waiting 8 weeks between sessions as it gives my skin time to metabolise the ink. This therefore makes my original decision factor a bit void. Moving onto the pain which was another factor in choosing Naama... this is definitely not pain free. I find it VERY painful and I know people have different pain thresholds but I fail to believe that some people could describe this as almost painless (!?). What I will say is that the studio is very aesthetically pleasing, the staff are great and the end to end experience is definitely on the luxurious side. My tattoos have slightly faded in the last year I have been going and I have experienced no side effects. However, I can't shake the fact that I am £1600 down with an estimated £1000 to go (4/5 more sessions). My tattoos are not large or complex. It feels like you are paying a premium without getting a premium output. As a result, the value for money just isn't there for me.

Love this protein powder! Definitely the best vegan one I have tried. I love the added wellness benefits too. I My favourite flavours are vanilla and chocolate as they're not too sweet.

AWFUL customer service and faulty product

AWFUL customer service. We bought a sofa bed from Daals which was great until it broke within a month of receiving it. The sofa bed got little use as it was in our spare room and Daals agreed that this must have been a faulty item. We are covered under warranty so are eligible for an exchange. However, Daals refuse to come and get the package unless it is repackaged in the original box. Who keeps the box after a month of having an item! Our only alternative is to buy a box to return the item however, the sofa bed is broken and half stuck in the bed position which makes finding a suitable box 1) expensive and 2) near on impossible. Daals clearly want to make it impossible to fulfil their warranty commitment! I would really avoid using Daals. We have had much better customer service from their cheaper competitors.

It pains me to write a negative review…

It pains me to write a negative review as I used to love this rental platform. However, a string of negative experiences has resulted in me feeling like I should warn other lenders. I have had multiple rentals cancelled when out with renters. The renter has received a full refund (rightly so in some cases such as a late delivery) but then the item comes back visibly worn or goes MIA. Renters are definitely learning the tricks of the trade to get free rentals and it is the lenders that are punished. Please bare this in mind when renting your items via this platform. I will note that I have had quite a few successful rentals on HURR but the negative experiences seem to be increasing...

Good product poor quality packaging

I bought the cloud paint, brow gel and lip gloss. I have given 3 stars as I like the actual products but the packaging is poor quality especially given the price point. The cloud paint uncontrollably pours out the tube whenever it is opened resulting in a lot of waste product. The brow gel and lip gloss also feel very cheap.

Another great experience with Hurr! Unfortunately, there was an issue with my rental and it couldn't be sent out to me however, the team helped me find an alternative that was gorgeous and arrived in time for my birthday. I will definitely use Hurr again!

Perfect for our Rottweiler

We bought the artificial leather orthopaedic dog bed in XXL for our Rottweiler. It arrived quickly (even though it was from Germany to the UK) and he absolutely loves it! It looks good, cleans easily and most importantly it is super comfy!
