London 28, Golders way.fake booking beware!!!

Did a booking in London for 1 night. What should have alerted me, was the landlord not returning my message until I change my checking for earlier. A friend gave me a lift. We got to the property in Golders Green, 28 Golders way: rang the bell, the owner let us in but he was expecting someone else: I guess he got entangled in his own lies. He even pretended there was a mistake in the address and it was likely the number 29, despite me showing him the booking.com emails with his address on it. Basically, he had made a double booking and here I was in London without a place to stay and finding out literally last minute. Booking.com pretended knowing nothing of course and was unable to find me an alternative lodging. Booking.com never again!!! This was a fake booking and no one cares when you are dumped. Clients are disposable: this is no customer service at all, but a disgrace of pretence

SLS rushed into settlement money

SLS rushed into settlement money, without requesting a moratorium to make sure Sanctuary Housing had truly done the job. If one consider Sanctuary Housing are behind my roof damage (supported by multiple evidence), one would be suspicious about the repairs. A storm broke down shortly after the job was "done" to reveal it was a pretence job. Then, SLS stop representing me properly. It seems they wanted an easy way out. Furthermore, when I asked to cease representing me as I could not trust them since they did nothing to prevent a scaffolding from being erected, 3 months ago: - it is still there! Sanctuary did zero effort to sort it out, meaning they never intended to- SLS rushed into sending a notification of end of representation to Sanctuary, putting me on the line, proving my point: they are not reliable. Furthermore, they send me the same notification in a format which was not readable: if after that you still want to trust them, don't be surprised if they let you down, like they did me.

NEVER my choice but sellers's

I would never use Evri of my own initiative: it is only sellers from whom I purchase who have the poor choice to select evri. I reporter to sellers as I am done with their nonsense delivery. I have been living a nightmare with them for the past 3 years since I moved out from my former area which was simply perfect. 2 months delay recently, parcels declared lost to 2 sellers when they landed on my door step, both had been sent the same day and kept for 2 months! The sellers could hardly believe it as I asked them to request their payment via PayPal! . My last parcel, was delivered 3 days later only because I reported to lakeland who decided to track the order. The seller never rang my bell once and as per second picture provided as evidence: he did not had the gut to knock on my door, so left it on the landing below: what kind of service is that? It's only later on that I realised it had been delivered. This is one get stuck for nothing at home for 3 days: can someone be serious? No apology from Evri who take care to make you connect only with an AI, so they do not have to justify. At least use the phone number provided to call the client or leave a message: why bother?

This company is a nightmare

This company is a nightmare, they lie, pretend to have attempted delivery when they never even bother to ring the bell while you were at home. They also delay the delivery by sticking on the parcel brand new label and store them until they are actually able to deliver: so in one word, you cannot plan the delivery because their drivers are absolutely not reliable. Any seller does himself a disservice by using their services, if you call that a service....Drivers do not call the customer, Evri customer service is a bot, hence you go nowhere because no one is ready to assume responsibility for such sham.

Sanctuary Housing EXPOSED!

I signed an assured tenancy with them in 2020, thinking I am safe and was reassured by the letting officer, E. B. that I will be secure with them. Little did I know that the Name of the Housing Association was just a front for a Mafia type of organisation, with people recruited on their lying ability and the lawlessness. 5 months into my tenancy agreement, after having refurbished the flat since it has no flooring and was filthy, I am told I do not fit and have to move to another of their site. The site manager left the site, likely because she was not compliant enough and ready to go as far as they needed to get back what they wanted. The letting officer recruited a puppet, J. P. who would make a prison Guard blush. I worked out they want their site back in may 2022 after a meeting tenants/Sanctuary and the Housing Councillor but it took me time to gather all evidence necessary to support my 2 cases with the Ombudsman . This was a reminder of Deja vu Sanctuary was not ready to experience a second time: our tenant association was ignored and crushed to the ground, we experience abuse of Master key on a regular basis so much so I had to put a key on all the inner doors to prevent the breach of my privacy that no form you fill can stop. I finally put a camera indoors to be on the safe side as still I found my main door unlocked. A morning J. P. attempted to open illegally my electrical Cupboard, I reported the infraction to the police. Since I disturbed her and prevented her to do what she came for, she came back after her shift, while I was at work: they use of site camera at the expense of the residents. When I came back from work, I found my indoors camera wire hanging in front of my meter, so here again I call the locksmith to protect myself from the very people who have duty to safeguard by law [sheltered site] but do just the extreme opposite. It did not stop there, I had to put a camera doorbell at my door as they tried to damage the middle hinge of the electrical cupboard to make its access impossible. Their mafia practice go from abuse of master key, breach of privacy which is a violation on many levels of the very many assured tenancy contracts they signed alongside residents granting them a legal place to live. But paperwork means nothing to such people and filing formal complaint is pointless as the whole line of management is corrupted, up to T. D. the third in line but also to the very direction, I name L. H., chief customer officer who covered up for them and entrusted them with the illegality of their job so they keep up with the harassment and unfounded threats of evictions to serve their sole interests: she dismissed my formal complaint. Sanctuary cover for their staff as long as they go along their script: one get away with anything for the sake of the company: from assault with chemicals brushed under the carpet justified in front of the housing councillor with "he does not like his cleaning job", threatening behaviour, tone aiming at breaching the ombudsman decision they had been made aware to have ground for eviction under refusal to comply to a fire check. Thing is they behave in such a way that their illegal recordings done without consent cannot be used as it would betray their multiple offence. To make me give up my tenancy, they sent 2 of their contractors, FWG and Abbey Roofing and cladding to remove some tiles of my roof to make the property unfit to let with unkind weather, but I found a solicitor to represent me and my tiles are being put back supposedly next week. They also installed an unswitch for the fan extractor in the guest flat below to prevent me to sleep, the ombudsman is dealing with my complaint for breach of contract and rent and charges abuse: the site manager removed a key safe but was seen: the box was found and given to the police. Why would someone do that? to pretend theft and have ground to change all the locks of the property and put the expense on the tenants charges. It did not produce the effect wanted: this year the indoors and outdoors lights have been left on 24/7, empty flats have their meters off the chart so that in April 2024 no one can afford the charges. Sanctuary Housing want to avoid a second Rocky Hill Terrace events: 6 millions restauration in Maidstone Kent inaugurated in March 23. Sanctuary had to COMPENSATE the residents for their move to other sites as the MPs were involved to support the local tenant association: now you have the dirty, filthy portrait of this greedy organisation which use tenants as pawn to move around and about upon demand: who cares about people losing their home, they are in it for 100% return on investment at our expense. This is who Sanctuary Housing is: a criminal organisation, doing criminal activities for the sole love of money and profit through deception as modus operandi.

I bought from this company on the…

I bought from this company on the 7th/07/23, the order went through after a while but what is strange is you cannot check out from their site but are transferred to the Amazon.co.uk site. A few days later, I received an email from Stripe letting me know of their change of Terms of service. I looked at them and was shocked and realised that what I have been avoiding for months on end, the One click option, was what this company had used without my informed consent. I therefore contacted Stripe and asked them to delete my data but was made aware that to complete the process one needs to contact the seller. I tried to access my account from my mobile to delete my account to find out I could not.
I was away, so when I finally arrived home, I tried to access my account without success, had a hell of a time to reset my password since my password was not recognised and I was not receiving the right link. Now it is done but I found myself at square one, not being able to access my account: the screen shows an ERROR message and the site does not recognise my new password.
I have been emailing their customer service who email me to let me know my purchase had failed when my bank account shows the direct debit done on the 10th, besides, if it had not worked, how the hell would I have received a email confirming the dispatch. The beauty of it is I also received today a Royal Mail tracking number, to find out the item had been delivered and was at my door.
They have no customer service line, so it is impossible to address it verbally and be sorted ASAP. Instead, I sent emails which are left unanswered for what I consider an emergency and so would you if you were aware of the terms and condition with Stripe otherwise known as the One Click purchase. Had I been made aware that it was their check out process, I would have run for my life. Now I cannot delete my account, and as long as they remain silent, won't be able to sort anything out: just wonder how long it will take and their attitude is nothing of reassuring. I cannot wait to delete this account and will never ever purchase from this company ever again. A big financial trap unbeknown to their clients who blissfully order at their financial expense when you know the trap Stripe can end up being for any buyer. I had recommended this shop to a friend but I had to text her to warn her not to buy from them: she, like me, have being avoiding One Click since it was put in place on Amazon and was grateful for the warning. Thing is you think you have an amazon account, so when their screen transfer you on the amazon site, you are surprised but hopeful you will have a normal check out....NOT AT ALL!! then you realise later, when Stripe emails you that you have been duped and the scams go on these days and flourish. I would rather buy from Ebay than used a site which bypass my authority and allow themselves to register me on their One Click account I never wanted. I thought to warn buyers, and if you have no idea what Stripe is, when they email you you'd better read their updates on their Terms of Service as they will come into effect by the end of the month, the 31st/07/23 to be precise and it will be too late. Any human beings working at wholefoodsonline, or is it AI run?

On, 19th/01/23, my parcel was delivered to a third party without my consent as I was out. Over the past 2 years, this has never occurred! I am requesting the UPS courier covering my area, to refrain from such personal initiative which I consider a breach of my private life. I will report the matter to Niceshop and request from UPS to contact me instead or give me another alternative, more suitable for me as I do not want this person involved in my life and DO NOT CONSENT. BERKEY CHALLENGE OPEN TO ALL BUYERS....MY ANSWER TO THEIR RESPONSE

To counteract the statement BERKEY is about to release in regard to the filters, in my answer, I am challenging ALL BERKEY CUSTOMERS to test for themselves their filtered water with any TDS meter of theirs and see what happens ....
If Berkey is so "honest", they should not see any issue with such invitation and should not oppose my statement, since they have nothing to fear apparently.

What did I uncover? I want to specify the whole system and filters were bought directly from BERKEY: at the beginning I thought it is because the filter needed to be in use, as it happens with other brands like Brita. But after a while, I realised there was no change whatsoever.

I have tested the water with a TDS meter, what goes in, is what goes out, and I am not the only one to report the same results depending on your tap water wherever you live.

With my TDS meter readings results
- for one liter of unfiltered tap water I get 220 Total Dissolved Solids [which is expected unfortunately
- for a liter of Berkey filtered water [same glass bottle]. I get 240 Total Dissolved Solids Note that you are not supposed to have above 5 at worse, even 5 is too much.

To compare, I bought a Zero Filter Water system and bought a different TDS meter than the one offered by the brand to be more objective: In this case one gets the result promised. It is easier to add minerals by supplementing than take the risk to swallow toxins in a water you cannot trust, not knowing what you swallow. BERKEY is stating the lawsuit is in process of dismissal, not quite: they requested a dismissal of the case, the lawsuit is not over yet.

Note in their answer, BERKEY is careful not to address the total absence of NSF which proves my point: the scam would be in the open as it would not pass the tests.
Furthermore, BERKEY ignored carefully any mention of their non-labelled bottle of dye Berkey provide, themselves to their clients [identified by BERKEY themselves as FD&C Reds 40 and 3. Red 40-contain compounds, including benzidine and 4-aminobiphenyl, that research has linked with cancer, but this is no big deal, I guess. This shows how much BERKEY has concerns for your health.
I had a hell of a time to obtain the name of the red dye from Berkey themselves: I did my research, and this is appallingly unsafe. BERKEY can made up story as they want in regard to fraudulent BERKEY filter system or filters: what is there to say in my case? the proof is in the straightforward TDS meter reading tests! It is fraudulent since it does not remove anything but on the same level of BAD, their products are toxic, the filters as much as their dye. So I am right by stating that poisoning is on the BERKEY menu.

Usually, when some seller has a very good he is sure of, with statements he can backup, a truly proven product, if something goes wrong, this same seller will take back the product and refund: it just happened to me with expensive emu boots, the real deal: they were too big, I tried and return and I am told I will be refunded.....Not with BERKEY despite their gargle about how incredible their products are! My question is if your products are at so incredible Mr BERKEY, why is it that you do not apply this policy? maybe because you know the worth of your products: that simple! simply uncredible.

This is truly a worldwide fraud, no doubt.

Review of Berkey Water Filters UK

BEWARE: 2 CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS IN THE US!

I bought a Berkey filter in June from Berkey themselves, payment in 3 instalments since it does not come cheap: £626! plus the filters £72.57. It was recommended to me by a trusted source, so I had no reason to doubt the info...but little did I know.
Their claim in their own words, I quote " The Black Berkey filters have an impressive lifespan of up to 3,000 gallons and have been tested by a third party lab to reduce more than 200 contaminants, including 99.999% viruses, 99.9999% bacteria, 99.9% lead, 99.9% pharmaceuticals, 99.9% of chlorine and chloramine, and up to 99.9% arsenic", supposedly.
I just found out yesterday, by chance [if we can call it that], that Berkey is facing 2 action class lawsuits for fraudulent statement in regard to THEIR filtering system claim on their site.
- one, in the states of Texas, since this is where their Berkey filter containers are produced,
- and one is the state of New York.
In their defence, they also claim that their products are so good, they do not need NSF certifications, but it is clear they did not want to spend money on the maintenance of these certifications which don't come cheap, since you need one per contaminant - so if we go by their figures, they need more than 200. Furthermore, this process would have very likely put their fraud in the open...Not quite what you want when you are a fraudster, for whom making money at the expense of people is a trade.
Their lawyers are trying to get the case dismissed to keep the business going and money flowing. I personally believe and hoping they will have to face the music as no one likes to be taken for an idiot and have their health and their loved ones' in harm's way. Forget the claim on their site, as it appears the lab, they use to support their claim and provide them with figures, is in it as well. However, the analysis made by the lab used for the lawsuits find different figures far much lower than what Berkey claims, which means people are drinking water with contaminants without being aware of it as they trust Berkey statement on its own site. just for two examples: chloramine, which can be fatal inducing hemolytic anaemia, is supposed to be filtered up to the value of 3000 gallons, but it appears that after simply 200 gallons it is filtered only at 56.3%. the second example I came across is chromium which at 50 gallons only has only a 1.1% reduction. In such context, I wrote to Berkey to send them back their dangerous product as I do not want anything to do with this Company, I have no reason to trust any longer: if Berkey lied on these 2 elements, the likelihood of them telling the truth for the rest is more than unlikely. One thing people probably do not know, is that the red colouring they advise to put in the container to check for any leak of their system, supposedly to check the tightness of the system and indicate if there is any internal leakage from the screwing system, is being proven to cause cancer! They have obviously little regard for anyone's health: this is business as usual.
Berkey lawsuit court documents concerning the water filter and the water filtration, since is indissociable from the container, is available online as opensource Public domain in the states, if someone wants to look into it; My apology, but I am not allowed to mention the site. Some honest buyers have done video explaining the situation, which is how I find out only yesterday what is going on.
As one buyer stated in his Youtube video, Berkey is claiming that fraudulent sales have occurred by non-authorised sellers, trying to avoid a potential huge drop in sales: how convenient! I wonder how they are going to support this claim in Court of law? But nothing is too big a lie to get away with poisoning. I guess they must have well paid lawyers dealing with cover up to continue making money and intoxicating people as this is a lucrative business.
I send them a second email and asked them to provide me with the info to send them back their item for refund: total silence! As for their phone line, it runs the following opportune message "This is Berkey Water filters. We are busy at the moment. Please, leave your name and number and we will call you back as soon as we can"...of course, you never get a call back.

The plain truth is you have nothing to say, no argument as my bank found out. Once again you lied -it seems this is the only thing you know how to do properly! you did apply for refund of my first refund by my bank, otherwise the case would never have been reopened! There is no peace to be had with people of your kind. I tried several times to sent back the products but you refused them and had them send back to sender: your call. The deal with the bank was for me to prove I had tried to send you back the items if I wanted the case closed in my favour: I did prove just that and so much more.
I will however keep samples, as I said for a potential trading standards inquiry of your business I would be delighted to provide evidence for.
You are trying to make it look like I have mental health issue: you are the narcissists, both of you, with Big Ego issues and no limits to your dishonesty- like all narcissists who respect themselves, you project your mental health issues on others: a classic!
I hope these reviews will help consumers to be spared the same horrendous and costly experience you put me through, along with a few other people who did experience the same. I could have done without such ordeal, but in the end, if this was necessary to expose the scammers you are, it was well worth it.
As for your prayers, by far, both of you need them more than I do, that said if you find someone to hear them, which I doubt very much!

Blatantly racist and proud to be as they clearly demonstrated

Brighton Churchill Square to name it: I went there to buy a secure envelope and a padded envelope to send a sample abroad for testing. I was asked by a trainee how she could help. I explained and she blatantly told me she could not sell me any of these as they were destined to British People for UK main land only, showing clearly signs of racism and absence of education. I objected but she kept going telling me I was welcome to buy a pack of 5 on the WHSmith floor, to which I objected I needed only one. The Post office staff stopped, witnessed and not one person intervened, giving this young brat, in charge of 2 like minded brats, the seal of approval and all leeway to keep discriminating as much as they wanted with their support it seems! They laughed, understanding they would not been refrained in their behaviour.
A few days later, I went to address my complain to the "leader" in charge of recruitment who was clearly avoiding to deal with it, pretending not to know when the young brats would be back on shift. It seems to me that for a supervisor/recruiter, he did not have much of a backbone, if any at all. He tried to undermine my statement by telling me he understood as he was "olive skin" himself. Of course, as expected nothing was done and he never called me back as he said he would showing a clear intention to bury this under their carpet.
Not so fast! I therefore wrote to the head office's Customer service and I am told, this will be addressed privately and training would be given if necessary: the management in charge of this specific shop need to learn how to assert themselves instead of letting their last recruits run the show without control of any kind. As for racism, it is clear as day that this shop recruit in that department mostly. One does not unlearn racism & discrimination, this is deeply rooted in their mind but one can learn to pretend for a business sake: therefore I will boycott this shop as I do not trade in racist waters. WHSmith churchill Square you are a disgrace: shame on you!
Thank God, my local Post Office is brilliant with a friendly, non racist manager. On the bright side I know now not to spend my money to support such business.

I feeling sorry for the driver: what a job!

I was really upset by being stuck the whole day, decided to check the update on my delivery, noticed a map showing the guy was a street below mine, got there to pick up my parcel. At least the map was useful. I feel sorry for the guy, really nice chap! totally overloaded with parcels. He needs four legs and 4 arms to do such challenging job and I am so glad I do not work for amazon: not the easiest job! I will avoid delivery outside hubs as this is a nightmare as much for the driver than the customer. At least, I got my order and now I can go to work: 7:30 instead of 5pm!
