First and last time ordering from here. While the flowers arrived on time, the box had been clearly trampled on, really damaging the flowers, so they had to be discarded. The company replied very quickly after contacting them, and they even said a replacement will be arranged. However, they then went silent and the problem was not resolved.

Update 31/03/2025
A replacement arrived today out of the blue (without any notification of dispatch or delivery) and it was in perfect condition. Recipient is really happy with the item despite it eventually arriving after the occassion.

Order never arrived. A shame as Thortful used to be just fine.

Update 03/04/25
So it still has not arrived and is probably lost somewhere. Thortful sadly didn't offer a refund but gave a voucher for a future purchase. Really not my preferred outcome but at least they responded to the problem.

Some flowers did arrive on the stated delivery day and they were in passable (not excellent) condition.

The problem was the bouquet was missing a number of the flowers specified in the description (which were the recipient's favourite).

The website's feature to report problems with orders ("Redeem Happiness") does not work at all.

Update: Managed to get through fairly quickly to the chatbot. A replacement was sent out and received two days later and the recipient really loves it!

Abysmal service at baggage reclaim. The wait was 2 hours 15 minutes after arrival. A member of staff remarked this was "normal". Seriously? Only at a very poorly run airport.

Addison Lee used to be a safe bet in a marketplace full of unreliable firms. Well, never again. No driver showed, leaving a passanger stranded during a rail strike.

Fortunately, the ridiculously priced fare was refunded immediately.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Not sure how e-mailing will help anybody. I spoke to your surly customer support over the phone when no car arrived at the time it was booked for. With absolutely no thanks to you, the passenger eventually got to their destination.

First time customer, very pleased. Received a large and happy plant full of flowers and in great condition. Not quite five starts because had to wait 1.5 weeks for delivery. For comparison, placed orders for plants elsewhere on the same day and these all arrived within 3 days. Roots did give an esitmated delivery day at the time of ordering, and sure enough the plant did arrive on that day.

Can't believe I fell for it! I was waiting to get picked up for over 30 mins and in a hurry. No way to contact the driver, no messages or anything. Had to phone the website on an expensive international number. They said driver would arrive in less than 5 mins. Obviously did not come and couldn't wait any longer. 40 mins later someone calls claiming to be a taxi driver, by which time I was long gone. What a waste of £86. Please refund for non-provision of services!

Have been promised a full refund. The agents were quick to reply by e-mail and courteous. The customer experience of using the sevice while waiting for the taxi could do with some updating - having to phone a costly international number and be held in a queue to find out the whereabouts of a local taxi is just bizarre! Will not be using again.

Ordered several large made-to-measure oak frames in two orders. All look great quality, fit the images perfectly and arrived very quickly. Highly recommended.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Convinced it could be a scam website. No item, cannot log in either. No way to contact anyone, no phone number or e-mail. There is a postal address though! Can't believe I fell for it.

UPDATE 1: I managed to obtain some contact details by tracing the payment with my bank. And somebody has replied! Could be legit...

UPDATE 2: The reply mentioned above was an e-mail from the seller confirming the item would be sent. However, the payment was mysteriously returned three days later. No idea why, but at least I got my money back.

UPDATE 3: About 3 months after my original negative review, I finally heard from someone behind the ebuygumm.co.uk platform. I understand the website is new and has had some teething problems, which may explain the unusual troubles I was experiencing in March 2021. I hope these issues have been fixed and wish them success.
