I love Temu

I love Temu, I have spent around £3000 over the last few years here, some stuff admittedly is a tad cheap , but there are real bargains to be had , I’ve had some beautiful items from here and I don’t expect to get something massively high quality if lots cost £2, I probably pay abit more , I’ve had beautiful throws, kitchen ware, cushions, their custom printed items are always fun to have done and are great quality, what I like about them is the lack of hassle if something goes wrong , I’ve had a few issues but to be fair Temu advisors have sorted it out then and there no 24 hour call backs etc, also they ask you to write honest reviews on their items and post the unflattering reviews without hiding them, I love Temu , hunt for the good stuff and you’ll be surprised at the quality of it x

Another company who are all smiles over…

Another company who are all smiles over the phone until you want to escalate a complaint,
Bought an ikea kitchen around 5-6 years ago all appliances from them, few months back our £500 oven stopped working so I rang ikea for any guidance or perhaps seeing if we bought a new one could they fit it , the telephone advisor ikea lady was genuinely miffed our oven had packed up after this amount of time so told me to ring hotpoint etc , we ended up taking out a policy for £187 with D & G who assured us this would cover parts for the oven , fast forward nearly 10 weeks and the hotpoint engineer keeps failing to turn up with these excuses

Parts damaged
Parts delayed
Engineer off sick
Hubby has wasted 4 holiday days, you can’t get through to hotpoint so have to call DG, after the failed 3 let down the DG advisor basically said ‘ 3 strikes and we will sort it’ rather bizarrely and I believe fraudulently we received a posted letter from D G stating ‘ we are so pleased we have resolved this situation for you ‘ now whenever you speak on the phone to them they simply ask us to cancel the policy to wash their hands of it, I really wished I’d played the game of ‘ take a shot of vodka whenever the advisor uses the word policy’ although I’d have been hospitalised with massive alcohol consumption, the online lady we spoke with couldn’t have been less empathetic if she’d have tried, and they will not let you speak to a manager, another company who does not care about you, sadly a sign of the times , I will update our final saga with our oven although I doubt it will end well

What a ludicrous reply, obviously we expect a repair not necessarily a replacement but hotpoint haven’t done it have they ? when that company fobs us off as the go between ( our policy is with you ) it’s up to you to see that they are doing their job which you don’t, after hotpoint doesn’t issue us with the correct oven part your reasoning is ‘ do you want to cancel ? ‘ no we don’t , we want them to replace the parts as instructed, you have it quite easy really you charge the insurance and if the jobs not done you just say well cancel, you don’t want the responsibility to probe into why the jobs haven’t been done, no empathy, and your response reflects that, I didn’t read in your reply ‘ sorry we really must sort out what’s going on over at hotpoint ‘ once again it’s ‘ just cancel ‘ again, unsympathetic and not bothered you should be ashamed that you run your company like this

From what you've described, it sounds like you’ve taken out a Repair & Care plan, which is a repair only service. We understand how frustrating the delays have been and have offered to cancel the plan due to the length of time the repair has been ongoing.

As this plan does not include a replacement appliance on the first repair, cancellation is the most appropriate resolution we can offer in these circumstances.

Evri was doing so well

Evri was doing so well, I’ve left many positive reviews of this company and our local courier who we have had in our area for the last 5 years in a diamond guy, however recently my daughter bought an expensive item from Vinted it’s not moved since 10th October needless to say my daughter has to wait until Evri say it’s lost or Vinted refund after 2 months, last week my daughter sold an item and posted via Evri that too has gone missing, it’s a very large parcel so it’s laughable it’s gone astray, no updates just a bot called Ezri ( or something like that,)who on the live chat just repeats it’s running late, no it’s not running late not after 6 days of no updates it’s lost isn’t it 😩 another 2 months of hoping Vinted refund her, so £150 she’s out of pocket , I appreciate things go missing ( yodel are the experts at this ) but Evri are slipping because of their lack of communication and not admitting things are lost or worse stolen, anyway I’ve gone back to requesting RM tracked from sellers I buy from which is a shame because we as a family will genuinely miss seeing our Evri delivery guy 🥹

THINK TWICE BEFORE USING VINTED

Please think twice before buying or selling expensive items on this site, go to eBay where policy is much better, far too many scams here resulting in stress and awaiting refunds for nearly 2 months , holding funds, this is not a hero company this is a money machine and nothing more , they do not care about you and they have no empathy sign of the times I’m afraid

THEY DO NOT CARE

Another company with money signs as their main focus and zero accountability or compassion towards people who spend their hard earned money on their appliances, we spent a lot on our ikea kitchen because of the carpentry involved and we had previously had an ikea kitchen in our last home , after just under 6 years our oven stopped working and I rang ikea up to ask if I paid would they install another one ,the ikea advisor ( to her credit) was not impressed our oven had clapped out and told us to ring hotpoint because she advised they would help, oh bless ikea lady how wrong you were. My husband dealt with hotpoint ( when he could get hold of them) and the outcome was ‘ if hubby spent £187 on insurance’ hot point would tootle to our home and replace the non working elements of our oven , or replace it if it couldn’t be done , an engineer ( subcontractors) was sent out where he ordered a new back electric panel , obviously there was an issue ordering the part ( course there was) but 2 weeks later the engineer attended his appointment and fitted the panel , our oven sprang into life ( I punched the air, no more microwave meals and toast) but alas my celebration was short lived as the electrical panel showed an error code which left the engineer horrified ( no doubt engineering of this level doesn’t include error codes sadly) ‘ il have to order a new panel and maybe that will work ‘ to be fair to him he didn’t look hopeful and told us to ring hotpoint as he was ‘ just subcontracted’, anyhoo we are currently on 2 MONTHS , yep EIGHT WEEKS , without an oven and the engineer has FAILED TO TURN UP THREE WEEKS IN A ROW , apparently missing yesterdays appointment because ‘ he was busy ‘ ( probably trying to fathom someone else’s oven code ) you cannot get through to hotpoint , they communicate via email, hubby has wasted 3 valuable holiday days waiting in for this muppet of a company to send someone round , we are having to deal with Domestic and general ( took the policy for hotpoint) to get any answers , although we have received a lovely letter from D & G saying our issue has been resolved so someone is lying somewhere ( like an episode of the traitors ) I believe we are being fobbed off until the 3rd month where they will simply say ‘ we can’t fix it ‘ this negates an engineer willing to physically write our oven off , this preventing us a new replacement, PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS , THIS IS NOT A HERO COMPANY, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU , THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, I will update our final situation, I will await the obligatory response from hotpoint probably a little button pushed by a stock room attendant, of contacting them via WhatsApp proving they haven’t read this review at all 😀
IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY , I HAVE USED WHATSAPP AS YOUR PHONES ARE USELESS, AND HAVE NO RESPONSE TO MY INTIAL MESSAGE, WHAT IS THE POINT ? APPARENTLY OUR ENGINEER IS OFF SICK SO OUR OVEN PART IS SAT IN YOUR BUILDING, DONT YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE ENGINEER ? WHY ADVISE I CONTACT YOU IF YOU DONT REPLY, SOMEONE MUST LOOK INTO YOUR COMPANY, I WILL DO WHATEVER I CAN TO RAISE AWARENESS PUBLICLY TO HOW SHAMBOLIC YOUR COMPANY

I would like to address this to ceo Mike H, let’s chat about yodel and how you can improve your company so it runs better for the fast paced , shop online society we live in, Mike, please tell your online advisors to drop the phase ‘ your next attempted delivery’ ( when there hasn’t even been a first attempt)from their taught ‘ evasion tactics, I don’t know why all your agents don’t go into politics to be honest, their ability to unanswer any queries is really rather spectacular but at the same time when I’m awaiting that perfume I treated myself to because I’ve had a complete arse of a week , my tracking saying it appears to be in one of your vans tootling along in Scotland when I ordered it from London ( I’m England) I’d just like the facts please, just the FACTS , so I know that perfume I’ve bought to save me from having a full blown menopausal break down is SAFE, also please tell your drivers it’s ok to ‘ physically’ knock the door or ring the bell or even stand outside and shout viciously’ YOUR PARCEL IS HERE , at our home, rather than do a ‘ linford Christie ‘ (showing my age) impressive sprint to my door flinging my parcel on the doorstep ( without knocking etc) and legging it back to the comfort of the van whilst managing to snap a pic of it ‘ hey I’m happy to pose with my parcel or at least have a picture of my parcel near my foot ‘ anyhoo I look forward to my next yodel delivery so as a family we can all play ‘ did anyone hear the door go ?? , quite entertaining by the way 😀thanks Mike, wishing you continued improvement within your company x
UPDATE 24 HOURS ON ~ this is the 4th time I’ve been in this abysmal situation with YOCRAP , joking aside what a waste of time for the buyers and worst for the sellers who use this company, my item has not arrived , the chat advisor told me it was in Lichfield a mere 40 minutes from my home when I fact it is still in Scotland ( what it’s doing in another country is anybody’s guess) I seem to be blocked from talking to the chat agent and you cannot get to speak to a breathing person with a pulse,at least Evri pulled itself together and now offers a much better service , the CEO should be ashamed, if my husband or male relative was running this complete muppet of a company I’d be too ashamed to admit it, do better, be better, enough now of the lies and fob offs, I will no longer be giving my hard earned money to retailers who use this company, I’d rather my parcel be strapped to the feet of elderly pigeons with cataracts than use yodel , least with the pigeon it would probably try its best, shambles absolute rubbish

Ordered another 2 fragrances from here , very efficient company , one of my go to places to order my Arabic perfumes as I’ve never had any hassle and delivery is super fast, highly recommended thanks yet again EO for another good buying experience, ( Elysia vanilla and vanilla sugar are epic fragrances definitely worth buying )

I cannot fault EVRI

I cannot fault EVRI , this is mainly because we have had the same delivery guy for around 4 years to our B26 area, who is a fantastic guy, I actually prefer getting my parcels from here as opposed to RM who are becoming useless, and please don’t mention yodel/ inpost …. Evri should make sure they are rewarding good delivery drivers as this is what keeps customers using their services, I had a Relay driver throw my parcels over our fence last week ( thank the lord I’d didn’t contain anything fragile) our Evri driver wouldn’t have done this x

Perfume is my thing

Perfume is my thing, I spend a lot, and over the last 2 years have become obsessed with Arabic fragrances ( much better quality for the price) I placed my first order with this seller and was genuinely impressed with the up to date and incredible selection of fragrances available including niche and regular high st brands , seller had a fantastic discount on their site and I purchased 12 samples which arrived promptly a few days later well packed and with a tracked delivery, sample bottles were great quality ( not the tacky plastic ones which I loathe ) and were obviously labelled accordingly, i am so impressed with the standard of my samples and the efficiency of this seller , i had been previously using another sample company but the samples were taking to long to arrive and a few of them were cloudy liquid ( probably due to heat exposure from coming over seas ) I highly recommend this company and will definitely be ordering more , thank you for a very pleasant hassle free transaction x

Shopped on Etsy for 16 years, I enjoy buying from smaller companies and I usually find a better buying experience in terms of quality and interaction with the seller, wanted a specific custom picture that was advertised so sent polite request in , a few days past before I received a response asking for all my details on the print , and the owner told me he would send over a couple of proof pictures to see which option I preferred ( £80 picture so wanted to see a draft of it first) after a week I heard nothing so sent a polite query in to make sure my message had gone through, since that time ( 16-17 days ago) I have never received a response, why advertise a service and not reply ? Why ask for my specific requirements? On investigation into the sellers reviews it seems there are a lot of negative comments about this so I obviously dodged a bullet , since found another seller on Etsy who is organising my custom picture

Tiles are very nice quality

I originally left a 2 star review for this company, there were some issues with their website which was frustrating as communication was slow , I actually had to go through their Etsy store for communication, they had a discount code which wasn’t clear ( had to spend a certain amount which wasn’t shown ) so communication could be a lot better , however I took a chance and ordered the tiles , kudos to them for the speed of delivery to the U.K. , the tiles themselves are actually really nice quality and I’m picky ☺️, they are quite thick and mimic porcelain very nicely they are nice to cut aswell , overall I have to say I would recommend the tiles subject to other reviews I do not find them flimsy or overly shiny and they do not look cheap I’m pleased with the results x

Excellent and efficient shop

Wanted a specific vase I’d seen online, various shops and ebay sell it but was cheaper at his shop,I opened an account to order but first checked my emails prior to buying and was pleasantly surprised to see seller had sent me a decent discount code which I wasn’t expecting which added more money off, my item was sent really quickly with tracking and received promptly with good packaging, I’m thrilled with it and cannot fault the service, will definitely shop here again , appreciated the little thank you card sent aswell which I think displays good manners and a thoughtful attitude shame larger companies don’t follow suit , highly recommended shop and seller x
