When you call or write to support.
When you call support, they are very nice to talk to.
However, if you contact them via the link below the homepage, they dont respond, not even after 3 weeks and two messages.
Price guarantee is a great hazle. Ordered a part and paid for it, then when I found the same part number which was 50 pound cheaper at island4x4 and mailed it to them, they said I did it wrong. I should have told them before I bought the part (but they dont answer when contact them on homepage) So they said they would give me only half the difference back, which in some strange calculation they found to be 14 euro + iva?? It took me almost 3 weeks to get that refund code via mail.
I then found another part that I wanted to purchase which cost about 250euro at Paddockspares, but only about 60 euro at Island4x4, but after two contacts via the contact link on the homepage, still no respond today 1 month after.
The prices at Island4x4 is confirmed as correct and up todate, which Paddockspares on the first 14euro discount claimed it was Island4xr there had not updated the price, which was partly the reason to the only 14euro discount (which in some way they meant was 50% of the difference of 50euro?)
When paying with Amazon pay, one apparently doesnt get the reward point on ones account, one have to call them and tell them to put it on the account.
After 1 month, I got the points and I was ordering a part.
The before mentioned 14 euro I could use as discount, but it was not possible to use the reward point, not even for the support when I called them.
So, support told me to make the order and he would fix it when that was done. I made a mistake though, I am in Spain and made sure the amount was in my account, but it was in euro and not pound, so after the order failed I moved more money to the account and called them.
A support person helped me pay with my card after I gave her the details about the order.
When I then got a mail with the order, they never added the reward points to which they said: You (me) failed to pay the order, so they removed the reward points since where now used????
After I paid with my card over the phone, they moved the reward points back to my account and told me I could use them on the next order.
When I said that I am sorry, but I would like to make a complain about this, all communication stopped.
Please tell me why I should shop here again?
