Delighted with Outcome

I had a very bumpy and problematic home move with BT . It took a while and now delighted with outcome. The challenge is that individuals don't do their diligence properly and its left to others to pick up the slack . I have to say that Jasmine , Andrew, Darlena and Aubrey did particularly good job and took ownership and accountablity . We are human and make mistakes its sometimes worth holding hands up and accepting this and then fixing the issue . I am a loyal customer and whilst the service is reliable , fast and affordable I will remain a BT/EE customer and did have some issues with communication I am gad that issues resolved and now can enjoy Christmas break with a reliable Broadband service.

Equifax GDPR Failures and Irresponsibility

Equifax’s handling of sensitive data is appalling, and their GDPR breaches are unacceptable for a company entrusted with critical information. Despite registering on the electoral roll and updating council tax and agreements after moving, Equifax penalised me with a credit score drop.

I paid British Gas £81.18 in full after their admitted error, yet Equifax marked me delinquent, lowering my score by over 300 points—lasting six years—despite British Gas confirming no debt or missed payments.

After selling my home and paying off my Santander mortgage in full (with no missed payments in 15 years), Equifax incorrectly shows an outstanding mortgage and a -£301 balance. Santander confirmed this is not their error and provided evidence.

Equifax blames data providers but profits from their flawed processes, causing lasting harm. As consumers, we cannot "opt-out," yet they face no real accountability. Regulators must impose significant fines and enforce stricter oversight—or shut them down. Their negligence is a serious threat to financial fairness.

I cannot believe that British Gas have…

I cannot believe that British Gas have contact centres that are unaware of the impact of GDPR and Data Protection. I moved home on 25th October and have settled my bill in full . I changed only my electric supply and despite acknowledgement of error by British Gas and me settling outstanding balance . My Credit file is showing missed payment and delinquent. The impact is a drop 276 pts on credit file and another -79 pts today. I spoke today to an operative and they are showing an old account which has been closed the very account which is showing as delinquent !! My mobile number changed in June not updated so cant be verified . What chance do you have when Equifax report a missed payment and the data is incorrect. They take no responsibility and in the meantime I can do nothing as neither of these huge organisations are able to keep a current and updated record of Data . I need someone from British Gas to escalate and sort this as I cannot access Credit . Equifax continue to use old data despite this account being paid off in full with no missed payments . When are the regulators and OFGEM and FCA actually going to hit these companies for breaches in data protection . This a fundamental aspect of GDPR and Data Protection whilst nothing happens .

Human Touch Thanks

I returned Lease Car early as downsized out of financial necessity and personal circunstances.
Lex in particular Stephen Shuttleworth was extremely empathetic . We agreed a payment plan and structured to minimise levels of stress which was a decision made and huge lifestyle change.
I would have no hesitation recommending Lex as they showed a human side to business practice.
At same time a major Bank showed the total opposite and have been relentless and totally callous.
I take full responsibility for decisions and good to know some companies do have individuals who care.

Can't fault 2 Installers Andy and Ryan…

Can't fault 2 Installers Andy and Ryan who installed my Washing Machine without any fuss and also tried my Tumble Dryer which could not plug in as my Electric Socket had been cut . Highly recommend and also carried 2 heavy appliances up 3 floors with no fuss,

Royal Mail should be shut down in lignt…

Royal Mail should be shut down in light of Horizon scandal like many other archaic institutions they survive to feed parasites .

Awful personal treatment £250 phone stolen by a Postal Worker and admission by Postal Worker that had signed for a delivery fraudulantly himself caught on Video with Ring and despite this Royal Mail taking no action or refunding the monies. If the Postperson had done his job I would not be out £250, a month living costs. He keeps job for stealing and Royal Mail accepts no responsibility. The message is just cheat and steal and lie . Cause misery to as many people as you want and prosper...

Hopefully this will go the same way and the house of cards will collapse and then wonder why this happened.

Dont use send emails dont buy stamps or use their services awful organisation

Getting sworn at by someone eating Curry Sauce & Chips No extra charge

Arrived back with my daughter to Glasgow Airport . Picked up by Flying Scot in Paisley. All good young man gave me keys and directed me to Row 6 .
Drove the car to barrier and required a Pin No . Tried numbers on ticket to no avail. No sign of anyone from the cabin coming out to help .
A car then came behind me and I asked if had Pin . He said that you to take one from a pile in the portakabin. So I proceeded back to cabin and behind the desk a bearded man who earlier had told me where car was located . I asked why I wasnt given a Pin Number. He said that he told me to take a Pin from the pile . I did not hear if he did alert me and I asked why then he didnt call after me or come and tell. The reply was "Its not my job " So I asked him what his job was as he was scoffing a portion of curry sauce and chips. He then told me to F*** Off .... wow it doesnt get any better . Are we at the lowest ebb when we can expect to be sworn at by a lout eating curry sauce and chips ? Is it not reasonable to expect to be given a Pin number to exit a closed barrier or at some point for someone to come out when I was walking to the car , apparently not their job. Or even the 300 yards to the barrier where I am pretty sure they might have even had CCTV or even a shout or some clue to my plight . The fact that at 10.30pm subjected to this and no matter what this individual was experiencing did not merit the tirade of abuse . Then for me at Midnight to post this review gives an indication of my feelings about this business . In no lifetime under any circumstances where a duty of care for my car on this property would anyone be subjected to this abuse . So Daniel I hope you are proud of yourself and enjoyed your curry and chips.I am not even angry and saddened as another employee sat alongside while this unfolded . At no point did anyone even consider maybe just maybe they should come out or open the barrier ..... I am totally numb with disbelief that standards have got to the gutter . I do not profess that its a hard job or that its an easy job . I do expect just one piece of information to be relayed to me even without a smile or salutation . However to be told it wasn't his job to help me exit the Car Parking Lot and then to proceed to tell me to F*** Off beggars belief.

Do not buy from this comany total scam. I bought a Nose and Ears Trimmer that would not sell in a Pound Shop. The power button doesnt work and the light . This is supposed to be a New and Improved Model . Its a total scam and I foolishly paid £16.98 for being scammed .

Beware of Battery Operated Goods

In this current economy anyone looking to buy an item which has batteries then it is not classed as electrical and only has a 30 day warranty . If you are buying a Sensor Bin and it is Addis or for that matter any brand from B & M don't buy it unless you are happy to write off that money in less than a year . Its a false economy and would recommend t wait and buy from a company that at least offers Statutory rights of replacement or at least repair from manufacturer within a year. I scrapped perfectly good bin within a year that is going to landfill and all I wanted as I didn't keep my receipt was a solution. Instead I have thrown away £40 or so to learn a lesson from Manager of Uddingston who advised me that anything that is battery operated only has a 30 day Warranty. I got less than a year usage but maybe I was lucky . B & M are a necessary evil in this economy but I will use Home Bargains from now on as at least the staff are professional and courteous . This manager looked as if she had been dragged through a hedge and spoke to me like I was an inconvenience . The bin was left there and Addis another brand to avoid abdicated to B & M . I have no bin and now wondering why I would ever buy a Sensor Bin as it will only last a short time and then can't replace unless I go to a reputable retailer who has at least 1 year warranty or will offer to repair . This Manager checked the Bin and offered me £0.05 as the Bin was Addis and labelled B & M. It was an el cheapo bin from Addis made for B & M but as the Manager explained even if I had a receipt after 30 days as it wasn't electrical so no return no repair. Think twice about buying any Brand from B & M and ask what the returns policy and keep receipts . An expensive lesson
I am no an idiot B & M thinks it caters for the lower income bracket when actually it perpetuates the misery . If this is an example of the quality then food or other groceries supplied should come with a public health warning as who knows if like Addis the quality is compromised to sell large batches at low prices that won't last . So the lesson is use B & M at your peril. I will never darken their doorstep again as unlike other discount stores at least I know that I am buying something cheap that won't last . Instead B & M have a racket going on with Addis pathetic and another example of UK with poor quality and no consequence .
