Salesman did not take shoes off or ask questions. Put us right off them. Quote was lower than Hillary’s but more than another firm that asked questions and took shoes off 😊

Another bad experience with Aviva

Another bad experience with Aviva. The company that does not want new business. The home insurance website will currently not recognise any address. So can’t get a quote.

Sleepy BT

Four months of phone calls and emails trying to stay with BT broadband. I would much rather stay with them. BT agree to revise my contract and then lose my details. They fail to keep telephone appointments. When I phoned to cancel they just shrugged! How can they be so rubbish? They need breaking up.

Finally given up and moving to Virgin broadband and O2 mobile despite wanting to stay with BT.

39 September- no response, no solution to this moan!! Don’t buy shares in this company only good for breaking up. Just returned the kit to bt at their expense because they don’t want my business.

Purchased Sunday delivery but they failed to deliver on Sunday.

There response is very misleading. They did not dispatch the item until the Sunday. That old “the cheques in the post” excuse does not work but nice try!

Very good value. My only complaint is they use UPS express. I paid £15 for express but have to wait 5 days. Twice in last few months UPS have decided I won’t get express and change delivery to a later date.

Two Botox treatments

Two Botox treatments. No effect at all. Hoped there would be some tightening of face or less wrinkles but nothing. Will not be going back. Very friendly and professional can only assume the doses are for women rather than men (thicker skin :) ).

Not tech savvy

How does this company make money is a mystery. Definitely not run by tech savvy management ironically. Customers need a verification code to log on to the app. When it does not arrive on my phone after an hour I have to PHONE customer services who after 10 minutes of liaising with a second line team tell me to delete the app and reload it to bypass the verification code. Madness. Dear Hive please enable alternative means of getting the code. Also please fix this apparent weakness in your verification process.This is basic stuff and will save you money.

faulty product/missold warranty

Paid for a years warranty - turns out I did not need to pay for this as in UK you have a right to return faulty products. TJC have refused to deal with the faulty product and want me to contact their supplier directly.

I said selling a unneeded warranty is fraud but they seem to be able to do want they want. The warranty even says if I have any problems to contact TJC.

So missold a warranty and also they refuse to replace the faulty product.

Been on weighting list for a “garden…

Been on weighting list for a “garden waste” bin for two years. Considering I pay for the pleasure of having a bin on top of the £200 plus a month council ” tax you would think they would be a bit keener to get me one. All my neighbours have one so it also makes sense in efficiency terms. No point complaining to the council as the complaint website is set up to crash your complaint.

Poor service(updated)

9 days since requesting an overdraft extension. Lots of messages sent by me. Result = nothing. Not declined. Not offered. Just nothing.

How can this possibly be rated the best UK bank! First direct would give me an instant decision when I used to bank with them. Why is the ‘best bank’ taking over 9 days.

Just spoke to starling “customer service”, they will be back (no timeline given) when they have an update.

Update: phoned 24 May as advised below. Told still with team being considered. So requested 11 May and no decision as at 24 May.

Requested an overdraft extension. Still waiting for response after 5 days. Wanted to extend by 20%. Just told I have to wait for a response. Don’t know when. How can you plan on that basis.

Almost impossible to close my account. I can’t talk to anyone and they will only respond a few days later after receiving a request from me. They then close the request as I don’t immediately see their response.

Twice in the last month tried to buy products in sainsburys Argos. Both times told I could pay for them but they could not take them off the shelf until the next day and so I would have to come back the next day. They don’t seem to want my money so I went elsewhere.

Had video of someone trying to break…

Had video of someone trying to break into my car yet they were not interested in viewing it. My car and my neighbours are regularly visited by two men on Saturday mornings around 3am.. no interest shown by the police...case closed. My friend also had video of a local car thief and their identity. Again this was not followed up. Very strange.
