On collection, Firefly informed me that I had arranged a full to empty option on the car and would be required to pay a 32 euro service charge even if the car came back with a full tank. I do not recall being made aware of selecting this option at any stage during the booking process. I have never opted for this in the past and would certainly not have chosen to do so if I knew about the charge. Your conditions state that I am subject to the local company's fuel policy, but Firefly informed me that only you could amend it. We were unable to get through to your office at the time of collection. The main concern one has using rental brokers is that one gets stung with surprise charges and this was exactly that. This lack of clarity certainly makes me reluctant to use Atlas again. An additional frustration was that no one was able to help us instal the child seats so we could not verify if the children were safely secured in the car.
