One star review too high
One star review too high. Cancelled order within 2 hours and emailed for a refund as was suspicious. Told order being processed. Retuned immediately - to Shanghai not London - 25.00. Kept emailing - not arrived- parcel received back 3 months later as 'refused' and 'unclaimed'. I was also told about potentially fictitious customs charges. In a nutshell - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Review of John Lewis Money
A BIT BRUISING FOR THE JOHN LEWIS REPUTATION
Had a JL Credit card for many years and always been pleased. Transfer and receipt of new card/same credit limit all went smoothly. Because new card is with NewDay and no longer HSBC, I was able to transfer a balance from it to my First Direct Card (HSBC). Transfer appeared on my First Direct card before my payment was due on John Lewis, but the £1300 has not come off my John Lewis card as they have no record of the transfer despite my having checked the details on the phone with First Direct, who are now recalling the amount so we can start again. In the meantime I will be paying interest on the £1300 that wasn't cleared. It seems the verification of the bank details of the Newday card are also 'not supported' so you could potentially send money to the wrong place and lose it.

Very impressive service
Have a hozelock retractable hose which stopped working. Very prompt and efficient response and after sending photos and a copy of the receipt they are sending me a new casing. Was very impressed with the service. Have already recommended Hozelock as a result of my experience.
