Review of Thai Food Direct
I rarely leave reviews... usually to highlight bad companies. In this case, the opposite. I admit, I chose Thai Food direct because of existing good reviews and I can add to those. Great selection, good prices, quick delivery and extremely well packed. Even a handwritten "thank you" on the invoice. Nice touch. I found them trying to find sushi ingredients which are difficult to get from the supermarkets where I live. But I cook plenty of Thai food too and will certainly be coming back to use them in the future.
Review of Ageas UK
Total loss settlement (due to theft), once through the required time period, was paid very quickly at a value which I think was fair for the car in question. However, the contents of the car that I claimed for (including a dash cam that was required by the insurance) was NOT paid due to me not having a photo of said items! If I had know this, then I would have taken photos of such items. Frustrating for a first time and honest claimant like myself!
Review of Traveldecorum
Like many, used TravelDecorum as they were the cheapest flight on Google flights. No mention of bags included at first instance, so continued with book to find out how much baggage was. No mention of baggage during process, so checked airline policy online (Qatar) which stated bags included as standard economy. After paying by CC was immediately called by Shawn who did his best to charge me an extra £150 for the bags as this was a "Special" ticket that didn't include baggage. I only give an extra star because, after standing my ground, he did cancel my payment - which does appear to have gone through. I was prepared to use my credit card rights to extract the funds if necessary. Close to a con. Buyer beware!! Booked with another company for £25 extra but including the bags as standard.
Review of Yodel by InPost
Friendly and smiling delivery driver. App location was spot on too.
Review of dxdelivery.com
I did receive a sms the day before, helpfully informing me that the delivery window would be from 7.30 to 9.30 this morning. So, I got up early just in case. Finally, delivery at 15.30. Thankfully, I was working in the neighbouring property so could leave a note. However, it did mean I had to adjust plans accordingly.
Package appears undamaged.

Review of Eflorist
The first time in my 50 years I have used a flower delivery service. But then this is an odd year for Mother's Day. When my mum didn't mention the chocolates, I looked online to find that there are loads of negative reviews for eFlorist. I saw many were due to customer mistakes in ordering that then could not be rectified online or by phone call. Other complaints might be due to the delivery service or the individual local florists used by the e-supplier.
My own experience, as deduced through the emails from my mum, was that she is very happy with the bouquet, having now split it in 2 (so it must be big enough), the chocolates (just a small free gift) were there and that delivery was from a friendly Yodel driver on the correct day. I personally received all the tracking info. So, in my experience, I cannot fault the service from eFlorist. I paid around £25 incl postage, which seems reasonable - although, I have little experience. So, 5 stars because I have no reason to give fewer. The main point is that my mum is extremely happy!
Review of Peli UK
Fantastic bit of kit. Using the Peli website was easy and the product was dispatched promptly. The price was as good as anywhere and nice to buy direct from the manufacturer. The only reason for dropping one star is that they are rather pricey... but I guess you pay for quality. My Laptop is a 11" so I bought the 13" case. Pity there wasn't something to fit my laptop which does seem a popular size. Maybe one for Peli to consider?

Review of Premier Property Lawyers
My sale has just gone through. Like others, I used this conveyancer as I had gone through PurpleBricks and it seemed easier. NOTE: I am very happy with PurpleBricks and don't let this put you off using them. Just, use another conveyancer!
PPL do use a portal: eWay, which is handy although having dates on the document page would be helpful. Unfortunately, I had several conveyancers assigned to me (4 or 5). At least two of them failed to respond to my questions about technical matters. Right at completion date an "unforeseen" matter cropped up - actually to do with some of my earlier queries - involving an indemnity for restricted covenants. Now, I'm no legal expert and maybe this is a valid situation but I was never given a real reason why the indemnity was necessary as all the covenants were listed in the Land Registry Title. I felt somewhat coerced in to paying for an unnecessary insurance. I have read these particular products described as a "legal scam". Make up your own mind!
My conveyancer did not appear to be acting on my behalf and by the time I had done a considerable amount of internet research I felt I knew more about these things than he did!
The sale went through, with a shared payment of a much reduced cost insurance but only after a lot of pushing. Hence 2 stars not one.
Review of Purplebricks
Coronavirus was the reason I went to Purplebricks due to the local agent I was about to use being closed during the epidemic. Liz was my agent to sell my little house in Coventry. She was extremely proactive and was able to do a valuation via a video call then went to visit on her own when I dropped in some keys. She sourced an EPC surveryor who was still working in empty properties even though others had closed. She sorted the viewings, waiting outside while the vendors viewed inside (empty house). Everything was very slick and I accepted an offer within 2 days (3rd offer). My only advice is not to use their default conveyancers, just pay the PB fee and find a good solicitors. Liz finally stepped in to smooth through a hitch at completion.
PurpleBricks well recommended but don't use their conveyancers.

Review of BudgetAir.co.uk
The eTicket was emailed within minutes of booking the flight. I already had a confirmation before that. It all seemed very smooth. Pretty sure I have already used them before too. They consistently hit the cheapest price for flights.

Review of TravelUp
It came up as the cheapest price so went for it.
First attempt came up with an unknown additional cost. I think it was a glitch in the webpage trying to charge me for insurance even though I had unticked it.
I refreshed the page and it disappeared and otherwise the booking went fine and smoothly.
Unfortunately, the e-ticket is just sent in the email text which is next to useless to print off as I get all the other hotmail/outlook headers and only half a page of email. Why can't they use PDF like most other companies?
I will call them tomorrow.
