An excellent service.

Faultless test procedure carried out under the guidance of Janice. Good explanation and friendly manner. No problem with uploading test online although unable to scan QR code on PC. Quick phone call and all resolved. Certificate downloaded 5 minutes later. Can't fault this procedure or the staff involved. 5 star and highly recommended.

Outstanding Customer Service

A problem regarding sizing was efficiently and politely resolved with the company going to extraordinary lengths to ensure my relatively small order was correct. Even to the extent of a phone call to inform me a certain colour was out of stock and suggesting an alternative. Both the quality of the items and speed of delivery all result in an excellent service. Many thanks to both Jon and Ian.

Service to customers not an exact priority

Have been a reluctant customer for years due to the KCOM monopoly in the area, now even more so.
Now been informed that, for commercial reasons, my 75 mbps download package is to be scrapped and I'm to be put on an inferior 50 mbps download package. The faster 100 mbps package is not available in my area so 50 mbps is the fastest available for me. A speed of 75 mbps is available at my address, but they choose not to provide it any longer. Many people in my area affected by this decision. Obviously service to customers not an exact priority.

Disgraceful service

A small parcel to return has been on my doorstep for a week waiting for Hermes to collect. The website states that a courier tried to collect it, but there was no reply. That is false. We are 'shielding' and do not leave the house. The parcel is also in clear view. It then states they will return the next working day. 4 working days later and the parcel is still on the doorstep. A phone call to Hermes resulted in a conversation with a 'robot' who told me, word for word, what was stated on the Hermes website. There is no possibility to speak with any person in order to resolve this problem. Absolutely disgraceful customer service, if you can call it a service at all.

Track and trace is absolutely useless

Track and trace is absolutely useless. Several parcels over the last few weeks have been dispatched with tracking numbers. None have tracked and all attempts to track return a result of "An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item". This same result is even obtained after the parcel has been delivered. Ridiculous.

Customer service agent great. Company not so.

While the customer service agent, TG1, was excellent and finally dealt with my query in a professional manner, the company as a whole do not make things easy for the customer. Sales and 'Front of House' are all well and good, but once payment is made that is another matter.
Two months after taking out the policy One Call sent me a letter stating the insurance company did not accept my NCD. Failure to forward acceptable NCD would result in a £39 Admin Fee. The bizarre aspect is that the new insurance company, Ageas, was my previous insurance company! Something One Call were unable to acknowledge. They also did not accept the renewal notice as proof of NCD. Therefore, I had to get in touch with my previous broker, Motorcycle Direct, who immediately provided me with documentary proof of NCD. (Well done to them and look forward to returning to them next year). This proof was then uploaded to the One Call agent who confirmed all was in order and no Admin fee was required.
Six weeks later, on checking my bank statement, I found that One Call had taken £39 from my account. If I had not checked I would have been unaware as I received no further communication from them.
On trying to contact One Call, the call centre phoneline informs you the call centre is closed and the email address is a 'no reply' address. Which leaves Live Chat. I then spent the best part of 2 days in front of the screen trying to get onto Live Chat, different browser, different pc. Nothing. When I did get through on the 3rd day, the problem was sorted very efficiently by TG1 in a matter of minutes with an apology and refund.
However, I feel this lack of communication, does not bode well if a claim were to be made or some more important matter arises. This is also a matter of trust and whether this company can be trusted with 'Pre-approved payment agreements' that customers unknowingly consent to when taking out policies.

Reading the reviews on this site led me to believe that I am one of only a few persons who have had a problem with this company. However, this is not the case.
It appears the negative reviews for One Call insurance all appear on another domain on Trustpilot. Search for this company on Trustpilot:

This domain is in fact a Norwegian mobile phone company, totally unaware of their poor rating on Trustpilot due to One Call insurance. Does make a mockery of the review process, in my opinion, and something I hope Trustpilot will address.

First class service

Plum 40 mm slate is exactly as described. Good quality and very regular sizing. Just one shovel-full of dust and small bits at the bottom of the bulk bag. So no complaints re wastage.
Delivery arrived within specified time frame, however, the bulk bags were delivered on flimsy pallets which broke when taken off the tail lift. This made it difficult to get the pallets onto my driveway over the dropped kerb. Courier's problem I believe. Excellent service from the driver though and job soon accomplished. Bulk bags are moved using a pallet truck, so there is minimum clearance for the wheels to negotiate a steep dropped kerb or incline. In all, a great job and would definitely use again.

Sadly, I checked later and you still had the same item advertised for sale.

Difficult to give a fair review as the item did arrive within the 2 hour time frame after an advisory email and text, however, the item was damaged. Sender blames courier and courier will no doubt blame sender saying it was damaged before packing and delivery.
