Yet another badly run Company. As if there wasn’t enough.

I have had many parcels classified as perishable and destroyed by this bunch. They fail to deliver, destroy packages they deem perishable refuse refunds to the senders and go happily onward. I contacted the ceo Elaine Kerr suggesting if she had any honour she should resign. elaine dot kerr at dpd group dot co dot U.K.They take on extra business they cannot cope with blame the World and his wife and have no shame. No decency. No respect. God knows how many businesses have failed because of her and DPD. Totally and utterly disgraceful.

As at 29th December I personally now know of two companies that have ceased trading because of DPD! I have dealt with both for years!

I have never been more sure of something or happier than to leave five stars. I have always received the very best of help and service. Joe in particular has effortlessly sorted my occasional silly mistakes without a murmer.
Couple my confidence in them with a peerless selection of items and excellent prices and you cannot go wrong!

Caveat emptor.

Without doubt this is a dreadful courier company. They were bad as Hermes and still terrible as Evri. You are not allowed to contact them unless it is via a ridiculous bot called Holly who has found her home in a group as awful as it is. I fail to understand why they are still in business. Yes they are cheap…but for a reason!

Crooks pure and simple

Crooks pure and simple. Like everyone here they advertise at very good prices then you are transferred to Amazon at a much higher price. Amazon have ignored emails I sent which speaks volumes. As far as I am concerned they are as guilty if not more so than this Druppo bunch.

If I could leave a minus star rating I…

If I could leave a minus star rating I would. I have never ever come across a worse more totally incompetent bunch than this. I ended up dealing with their head office ( which is Thompson and Morgan by the way) and have been refunded in full. Their packing is especially bad. One of the plants I ordered was a cucumber which was longer than the box they used. What did these comedians do? They folded the plant! I kid you not. The stem was folded in half!! It plus the grafted tomato plants are in my compost heap. I can only with hand on heart tell you to avoid them like the plague.

Two parcels never collected on the day

Two parcels never collected on the day. After “ chatting” was informed to reschedule! No apology. Nothing. Now cancelling.
Third parcel they were unable to print a UPS Label. Gave a pick up date by UPS though took my money and told me they thought they would have my label in time! Another useless Company! Avoid like the plague. They refuse to accept complaints via Moneysupermarket! That to me speaks volumes.

The very best.

I have dealt with this Company for a number of years now which in itself is testament to their quality and service. Products like the ham and bacon are simply the very best you will ever experience. As for the selection of cheeses, it is quite superb. The range of items available grows larger all the time which is good to see. All top quality. The sticky toffee pudding? Just buy it and see. Delicious. I am more than happy to recommend Dukeshill unconditionally. One of the very very best companies.

I accept that there are issues today…

I accept that there are issues today affecting companies that are fairly unique. I also accept that the Post Office is taking longer than is usual to deliver. These are all challenges to be met in running a business. What I do not expect is the quality of plants being sent out to customers like myself. Broken and bent stunted plants. Sweet peas tangled twisted broken. In all my years I have never ever seen plants of this disgraceful quality. FIVE emails sent have ALL remained unanswered! The packaging? As the world tries to reduce its use of plastics Marshalls seem Hell bent on taking up the slack in the plastics Industry. There are good decent suppliers desperate for your patronage. Find who they are and avoid this dreadful organisation like the plague!

I accept your packaging is recyclable. However you are creating a demand by using NEW material. Use either recycled plastic if you must or better still cardboard!!!

Dreadfully sad...but true!

It is difficult to add to what has already been said. The internal structure is a complete and total disaster. They have absolutely no concept of "Customer Service". There live tracking update is nonsense. They see nothing wrong as far as I can see with the statement they offer freely "We wait for seven days for our tracking to be updated on the system". Any decent Company would consider that a total failure! I can only assume they are making too much money and see no point in fixing their problems. Please make use of the CEO name Carole Walker. At least you can vent your fury. AVOID THIS COMPANY AS YOU WOULD THE PLAGUE!

I should firstly state that I am of the opinion that no one is a 5 star or a 10 out of 10. I know but it is who I am. Absolute perfection leaves no target to aim for. No way to get better or improve. Just me. So 4 stars from me is as good as it gets. Doubtless there are people out there who think OVO are the worst Company ever. Fair enough. You can't please all of the people all of the time. All i can say is in my dealings with them over the last five years and for the last 9 months with probate on my father in laws estate they have been flawless. Not a foot wrong. Nothing. Fair. Trusting. Respectful. The whole nine yards. No pressure. Just understanding and as I berate shoddy companies I should at least pass on my thanks to good ones. So thanks a lot.

Only deal with UK carriers who don't deal with Parcels2go!

What is there to say that has not already been said? It is too easy to say that they are a dreadful company. Which they are! It is nigh on impossible to get in touch with them and if by some miracle you finally achieve your goal you wish you had not bothered. Generally you get a lot of flannel. Nonsense just to make you go away. The truth is they and Companies like them pay lip service to customer service. They really do not want you bothering them. They seem at the moment to be on a roll swallowing up gullible carriers with I imagine slick Powerpoint presentations. They take away the hassle and cost of order placement from these carriers and promise they will experience no change other than reduced order input costs. Great! Except it is not.They are a bit like a virus with no cure. We must make our voice heard to the relevant bodies that these companies are selling us short. Deal only with Companies who do not deal with Parcels2go.

Falling standards.

I have no idea if this is or isn't UPS themselves. I certainly assumed they were. I went on their site placed an order for two parcels to be picked up and delivered. A man in a UPS uniform driving a UPS van picked them up. Both arrived at Tamworth at the same time. One was delivered the next day. The other...who knows! I contacted them and was given the bums rush. Seemingly unbeknownst to me they subcontract to Parcels2go! I have found it impossible to get in touch with them. Frankly I would never have dealt with UPS had I known about Parcels2go. I sent emails everywhere within UPS including to Atlanta. Finally I found a number for UPS in the UK but I had to sign away my rights to claim if the parcel was lost before they would start a check! Prior to that hey were adamant I had to go through Parcels2go! To repeat they only agreed to check for me direct if I said I would not claim if the parcel was in fact lost! It is dreadful in this day and age that incompetent companies are snatching business from gullible carriers. A slick Powerpoint and they are sold and forget the customer. I am sick and tired of second rate service from Companies that could not care less. I can only say avoid UPS and Parcels2go like the plague. At some point now or in the future they will bite you.

Good selection. Easy ordering.

Shopping for cats this time who have the luxury of being very particular (I was going to say fussy) without having to pay! The selection was impressive of their particular choice suppliers and ordering was simple. The order was delivered painlessly and quite quickly and a silly hiccup on same was dealt with swiftly. A good sign.
"Iams" is something they sell which my cats wish they didn't!!! During it's development horrific testing was carried out on dogs and cats (bad enough to reach Parliament) by Proctor & Gamble who own the brand!

Hot stuff.

As you must nowadays I did plenty of research to ensure I bought the correct product at the right price. Having eventually settled on an "Inverter" heater after reading all the reviews I trawled around and ended up on the website of Dry It Out. Not the most endearing name I grant you but the price they offered was the best I could find. If that was not enough of a reason in itself the reviews I read all pointed to a trustworthy company. They were certainly not mistaken. The price as I said was the best I could find but it was coupled with a substantial quantity of free fuel AND free delivery to Scotland where I live. Order placed and I kid you not the heater arrived within 24 hours. Excellent and no problems whatsoever. Other companies could take a lesson from these people in service. Quite simply flawless from start to finish.
