What is wrong with your web site

What is wrong with your web site? I have tried buying a tyre & have been going round in circles! Place in basket, go to basket, basket empty!?

Thank you for your response Ruth, There were no reference numbers as despite being logged on, as stated above, every time I went to basket, it was empty.

I did call your Chelmsford Autocentre in Springfield Road to sort out a tyre, check the tracking and recharge the aircon.

The phone was answered by a man after going through the automated system who just said could I hold the line for a minute. I said yes, after 5 minutes of waiting for him to come back to the phone, I gave up.

I called Kwik Fit in London Road, Chelmsford, who today have sorted out my car for me at a very competitive price.

The moral of the story for any retailer is if you treat your customers like dispensable object, they will take their custom elsewhere!

Zero Customer Service

My wife called our local Halfords Auto Centre in Chelmsford for a quote on a new clutch and slave cylinder. They were unable to give a price during the initial enquiry and assured my wife they would call back that afternoon with a quote and arrange to book the car in.

Never heard back from them. What is it with the service industry? Why as a perspective customer do you have to do all the chasing and running around?? Why do these businesses waste money on advertising when they have no intention of following up customer enquiries?
Very disappointing.

Response from Emily who I suspect is a Robot. My wife phoned for a quote so at what point of that enquiry are you given a reference number???

Completely Incompetent

Completely Incompetent, I would not recommend this sorry excuse for a Letting Agent if they were the last remaining Letting Agents on this planet. We have a number of properties which Leaders supposedly manage but in essence, my wife spends hours of her time on a monthly basis sorting out issues which they are supposed to handle as our Letting Agents, for which they deduct a large sum of money each month,

All we get is pathetic excuses, they can't even provide the name of someone within their organisation who we can complain too!

No business is perfect, but Leaders take the trophy for worst Letting Agents.

If you own a property and are considering renting it through a Letting Agent, please go elsewhere as once you've signed on the dotted line, despite not being fit for purpose, they will use every tactic within the small print to retain your business and keep taking agents fees!

Unless we evict all of out tenants, very immoral, we are stuck with them.

Trust me, they will make all the right noises to begin with, but once you've signed up, the lunatics have taken over the Asylum!

Shambolic Service at The Picture Palace

Popped into the Picture Palace in Braintree for breakfast. Have been here many times. Went to bar to place my order, chap behind bat felt it necessary to huff and puff whilst I made a few changes to the order.

Food arrived promptly, my wife moaned her hash browns were frozen in the middle! She took them to the bar and was told some hot ones would be sent to our table. On trying mine, they were frozen in the middle too! I thought I would wait for my wife's hot ones to arrive so I could get mine heated up.

We slowly ate our breakfast, food kept coming out from the kitchen but no hot hash browns to our table!?

Having finished our breakfast, my wife spoke to the manager, who suggested we wait for a hot breakfast by way of an apology, not really what we wanted as we had eaten!

We got ourselves a coffee and waited, having drunk our coffees', waited a bit longer. After a 15 minute wait and with things to do, we gave up and left.

If you're lucky, most of the time, the food is okay. On this occasion, it wasn't and the Manager's ability to resolve this minor issue was bordering along the lines of incompetence. I shall not be wasting my time or money in this establishment again.

Quality Product at a Fair Price

Ordered a venetian blind on line with Swift Direct Blinds. Site was very easy to navigate and order process was simple. Blind arrived..... forgive the pun, swiftly, and was easy to install. We didn't bother with the measurement insurance and delighted to say, blind fits perfectly. A good quality product at a fair price. Thank you.

Bought a Mercia Pent Summerhouse with Side Shed

Bought a Mercia Pent Summerhouse with shed, not quite what I expected.

Summerhouse arrived, quality not great, a lot of nails had missed the framework and were poking through the shiplap. Sections did not link together very well as shiplap boards were poorly cut and needed planing adding a lot of time and frustration to the assembly time.

Instructions were very vague and to add to the confusion, you are supplied with two separate instruction books, one for the summerhouse section and one for the shed?!

The quality of the screws supplied was really bad, they were so soft, the heads stripped on most attempts at screwing components together and after a couple of the screws snapped, we went to B&Q and bought some decent screws which made assembly a lot easier.

Some of the wooden finishing trims varied in size, so for example, the trim around the edge of the roof has a gap in it at the back where it was cut short?

The assembly process would have been easier if the components were marked, numbered or labelled. Only the gable ends have a bit of blue and green tape on, to identify left and right.

Summer house is up and my wife is happy, but I'm disappointed with the overall quality of the product.

Tried leaving a review on Robert Dyas website as no reviews for this product, but does not load? When asked if I would recommend this product, I'm afraid not.

Having been advised by Robert Dyas they were very sorry and someone from Customer Care would be in touch, almost four weeks on, nothing, just a load of marketing emails! Not Good

Newly branded Total Filling Station have incredible staff

Driving through flood water today, the under tray on my car was partially ripped off, dragging along the road. I called in to the newly branded Total Filling Station in Cressing, Essex, to see if they had any cable ties for sale, so I could re-attach the under tray. The assistant was very helpful but unfortunately, they did not sell them. When I explained my problem, he went off to the Stock Room and came back with a handful of cable ties. I was really grateful and asked how much I owed him, but he refused to accept any payment bidding me a safe onward journey. It's really great to see that there are some genuine kind hearted people about and I highly recommend this newly branded Total Filling Station. A very BIG thank you

Battesford Court Witham. Unhelpful Staff

Popped to Battesford Court in Witham this morning. We use Witherspoon's a lot & usually encounter friendly staff who are normally very accommodating. Not so at Witham, the lady behind the bar could barely crack a smile & refused to swap my mushroom for a veggie sausage because she couldn't swap a veg for meat product.....but it's veggie!!? All other Spoons do this without question as they did last time we went to Witham. Strongly recommend breakfast at Morrisons in Witham.

Ring Cam set up a waste of time!

Wasted a load of time trying to connect new Ring Indoor Cam to my account. Having gone through various steps, I get the message saying connection successful.... then I get a message saying Hmmmm, something went wrong, try again.

I try and de javu, time and time again, same problem. Contacting their technical department is a waste of time as all of the suggestions to try and resolve the problem doesn't work.

Like so many of these tech companies, when it comes to Customer Service, there is none. I shall be returning this to Argos for a refund

Pork Sausages in a Vegan Bap????

Went to Greggs in Colchester, Essex today for some lunch. As a vegetarian, I chose a Vegan Sausage Bap out of the hot section with a side of wedges. My wife had some Chicken Goujons. We ate inside and on clearing up the packaging, I spotted the ingredients to my Vegan Sausage Bap.....The first ingredient is Cooked Pork Sausage (50%) !!!? Seriously, do Greggs not understand the definition of Vegan? My wife went and complained whilst I tried to refrain from throwing up.

With Customer Service at the forefront of their minds, er not, the staff just shrugged their shoulders, said they didn't know what it was I'd just eaten and suggested I write to Head Office.

What an absolute shambles. To all you vegetarians and vegans out there, avoid eating any food at Greggs as the staff and the packaging, don't appear to know what it is your being sold!

Appalling Service

Appalling service, following a horrendous attack on our dog by a Pet Plan insured dog. Having paid out many £1,000.00s' on vets bills, we have heard nothing from Pet Plan, despite their policy holder phoning, emailing and chasing the claim. Avoid this company unless you're happy to wait weeks on end for any action...... and yes, on writing this review, have still heard nothing!

Awful Laptops

I bought this laptop as my PC packed up. Buying an Acer laptop was the worst decision ever, it's awful, it has a mind of its own, even if your hand is nowhere near the built in mouse, it still closes or opens programs causing immense frustration. It has no facility to identify whether it's set to capitals or lower case, so when you're trying to type in a password...... most insist on some upper case characters, you can waste time re-entering it, as you're clueless what it's set at. A complete waste of money, Avoid like the plague

Very Disappointing Vintage Inns

Having received a reminder email that my pizza offer was about to expire, we booked a table at The Angel in Broomfield.

We arrived & were shown to a table & given menus. There was a good choice of pizza's and a couple were listed on the blackboard.

Having made our choice, I went to the bar to place our order. I was then advised we could not order pizza's as they had no dough!? How hard is it to knock up a bit of pizza dough? Why were we not told on our arrival? Why was I sent an email reminder for the Angel when they weren't taking pizza orders?!!!

Needless to say my wife & I left and had a very enjoyable Chinese meal instead with all options on the menu available!

Don't waste your time trying to sell a…

Don't waste your time trying to sell a car on eBay, you'll get a winning bid, the buyer will make contact and then nothing? eBay offer no support to sellers, they don't even provide winning bidder details other than their name. As a seller you have no facility to leave feedback to warn other sellers about a rogue buyer. eBay are happy to take your listing fees but when a sale goes wrong, bearing in mind the winning bid is supposed to be legally binding, you're on your own. Very disappointing.

Appalling service

Appalling service, parcel sent to my client on 3 day service. Almost a week passed with no sign of parcel, my client chased me to advise tracking info froze. I contacted this company who will only do online chat, no phone number, and was advised I had no grounds for a claim.....I wasn't claiming, just trying to locate parcel! I was told to leave it for 2 days and try again!?

The following day, my parcel turned up at my home address with loads of labels stuck all over it and one sticker stating no EPC?

I now have the joy of trying to contact Parcel2Go to get this sorted and in the meantime, my client is still awaiting their goods.

Good website with easy ordering system. Only spoilt by collection from branch. I don't expect a fanfare on arrival, but when there are 2 members of staff behind the counter and only 1 serving, some kind of acknowledgment would be nice. I felt like the invisible Man and literally had to bang on the counter to get noticed & served!
