There is no transparency about what you do to prevent unauthorized devices on the market and theft since it's not possible to check a device serial number with you. The majority of electronic established companies do this including Microsoft, Motorola etc. and I haven't had any problem with their customer service checking this. It's absurd an established company like yours it's unable to do this.
