The explanation is the selling fee is now 12.8% (on the tot including posting fee) + 0.30, so if you sell items on which the delivery is higher of the item cost (such as any item which requires small-medium parcels that you sell on a bid at 0.99 or a few pounds), your earning is almost nothing, eBay is earning for you.
