Insecure and unreliable - suitable qualities for a UK bank?
I have used this service for some years: banks are only as good as their worst moment of customer service. Today I find myself unable to pay my bills because someone has charged an article from Apple to my account which - if Cashplus had proper security as it claims - should never have been approved. Despite a much vaunted "3D secure system for verifying all purchases", it was possible for someone to block £1400 of my money without a security code and even giving the wrong postal address for the account. Cashplus, while not having released the payment to Apple, have blocked my funds from my own disposal. So I have had to borrow money to pay bills, while my funds are held without my agreement due to the flawed security operated by MasterCard/Cashplus. Completely unacceptable - except in 2021 UK.
